I was greet from many people my grandparents knew. Everyone was dress so nice. I see some of my best friend Kate.

"Oh my god Mackenzie!" She said hugging me.

"I miss you, I'm so happy you came" I said

"I know but I can only stay for a little bit, my family and me are going to Paris."

"Its okay, I'm just glad your here"

We talk for a bit and she left later on. Me and my grandparents sat at our table with some of my my grandparents friends.

I see Vic and his band

"Excuse me" I said

I walk up to them

"You guys look very handsome"

"Thank you and happy birthday" Vic said

"Thanks, so what do you guys think"

"Its so big, it this really your house?" Jaime said

"Yes, we own alot of houses. Where's mike?" I said.

"He went outside in the garden"

I went to the garden. I see him sitting on the bench in front of the little lake.

"Hey there, may I sat?"

"Hey and sure, you look beautiful"

He smile.

"So my grandparents told me about you. I didn't know until today before my ball started"

"I can't believe I have a daughter, and she's sitting here with me. I just wanted to know why your mother didn't say anything to me"

"I guess she was scared, I really wish she was here"

I look at him and he look so confuse

"What do you mean 'I wish she was here"

"You don't know, my mom died in a car crash 3 years old. I thought you knew"

"No i didn't, why didn't your grandfather tell me"

"I'm sure you forgot to tell you"

"I'm going to find out"

He stood up.

"No if you do that my grandfather would never let me see you, please don't do this wait until tomorrow. I really want get to  know you better. If that okay?"

"Okay and I want to get to know you too, you look like you mother"

"Really, mom left me a letter saying how I love music and that I got that from you"

"You love music?"

"Yeah I play piano"

"That cool, you show me someday"

"Yeah, so the band?

"Its good, we're like family"

My nanny called

"Mackenzie your grandparents are looking for you"

"Okay I'm coming"

"Come on let's go"

"Mike are you coming?"

"I'll be there in a bit" he said

I went inside and I had to make a speech.

I hate talk in front of people.

"Thank you everyone for coming, I like to thank my grandparents for all they're hard work and my nanny too. For everyone who help out with the ball. Also there's someone, I just wanted to say I'm glad your here. So everyone join the night, thank you."

All clap and got a lots of hugs. There is  one person I didn't want him to be here. Chris, the guy who is such a big jerk. All the girls want him. I went outside of fresh air.

He grabs a wrist really hard.

"Security get him out of here now" i said
