Her first day was going well. She got through her Spanish class okay. Then she had a Math class that was normal. And last class of the day was History. She was happy to have met her new friend Grace. Mikayla walked into her History class and took a seat beside Grace. "Hello class". The teacher said. "The names' Mr.Connor or Mr.C". He smiled and handed out a few papers to the class and mostly did a small name lesson. That was it. When Mr.Connor got to Mikayla. She felt strange. Not in a "hungry way", but as in a she knew "something was wrong" kind of way. He looked down at her. "Everything alright?". He asked. "Yeah, thanks". Mikayla smiled but when she looked up. She saw something dark. Not his really cute blue crystal eyes. But a really powerful dark light, his Aura. It was like the blackest of night. She could barely see straight to his heart. It was guarded. Just like Mason's friends was a year ago. Mikayla hadn't felt that in a long time. There was something strange going on. Maybe with him. But what was her connection to people's aura's and why her?.

"I um..". Mikayla could barely speak. The dark light from his aura was giving her a powerful headache, one to where she could pass out. "Have to go". She said and grabbed her bag. "Bathroom". She politely smiled. "Alright,". Mr. Connor replied and went back to handing out papers to the class. "Mason". She called. Mason was already out of class and at the Lacrosse field. "Mikayla, why aren't you in class?". "Mason, I don't feel that well. I saw something". She said and ran into the bathroom and grabbed three pills out of her bag and swallowed them with some water from her water bottle. "What?". Mason asked through the phone "There's something strange going on at this school". She sighed. "I'll meet you by the Lacrosse field now. I can't go back in there today, I'll pas out". Mikayla added and went to meet her brother on the Lacrosse field.
