POP 0 A Sudden Disturbance in My Life?!

Mika's POV

Me, Nina, Hasuka and Yôka were all eating at this cake shop. I loved chocolate cake. So I was eating it while looking at the girls talk.

"So.... What's your idea of the perfect guy, Nina?" Hasuka asks.

"He should be atrong, kind, good-looking.... And someone who'd protect me." Nina said dreamly.

"Not again..." Yôka

"You'll never find that kind of guy now. Let's be more realistic." Hasuka says.

"What's wrong with having a dream?" Nina asks.

"What kind of guy do you like, Mika?" Yôka asks me.

"A nice, mature and smart guy... maybe..." I say smiling. Something drops on my and Nina's plate. It looks like a pearl.

"Hn?" Nina asks looking at the pearl and picking it up. "Did this cale have a candy on top?"

I was about to tell her it looks like a pearl but it's already in her mouth. "Does it taste good?" Hasuka asks.

"Hmm... It tastes kind of weird.... Is this supposed to be a candy....? Maybe it's noy a foo-" Nina says and suddenly a car falls from the sky with two guys in it and she swallows it.

"All right!" A boy with spiky blue hair says. "We were here first."

They both get out of the car and slams the door. The boy with straight brown hair speaks first. "I told you not to be reckless.... What are yoy going to do it it's broken?"

The boy with blue hair ignores him. "Let's hurry up and find the Pearl, Ichî!"

They both look this way. I heard a beeping sound from this little bear toy thing. "I'm getting a response from this area..."

"Right." I guess Zero says. Ichî? Moved it to Nina.

"Who? Me?" Nina asks and it becomes louder. They move closer to Nina and I. Ichî puts up a sign it said on the top: Diagram a peral Pretty. Diameter approx. 2cm*

"... Did you two happen to see something that looks like this Pearl?" Ichî asked us.

"It landed on our plate." I say and Nina realizes what it is.

"Oh! That! It was on top of my cake... so I assumed it was a candy... And I ate ut. It tasted awful..." Their faces looked horrified.

"Whaaat?!" They yelled. They boy grabbed Nina's mouth and tried to open Nina's mouth.

"Quit messing around. Give it back to us now. Spit it out, out, out, out!"

"Nooo! Ouch, ouch," Nina yelled.

I pushed him away and Ichî grabbed his hand. "Stop, Zero!"

"Leave her alone!" I yelled.

"But she-!!" Zero says.

"It's too late to do anything now that she's swallowed it!" Ichî yelled back at him. "It'd be bad for us if we raise a ruckus."

"What id the others get here..." Zero says.

"Others?" I ask. Suddenly a bird, no a huge owl with two people come flying down.

"Kyaaaa!" Hasuka and Yôka yelled. "What's thaaat?!"

"Oh, that was quick." Zero says.

"I can't believe they came on that thing. What were they thinking...? Is that an owl?" Ichî says sweat dropping.

"What's that?! What in the world is happening?!!" Nina yelles. Ichî grabs my hand and Zero grabs Nina.

"We have no choice. Let's go, Zero...." He looked to me and smiled. "Hope you don't mind, but you're coming with us."

I smile at him. "Ok."

"You're coming too!" Zero yells at Nina.

"Eh? Why?!" Nina yells and I sit up front with Ichî.

"We have to get away from them!!!!" Zero yelles and Nina and Zero are in the back.

"N-Nina?! M-Mika?!" Hasuka and Yôka yell and we rode away.

Time skip~

We finally stopped and lost them. "I think we're safe now." Ichî says.

"It was pretry easy to shake them." Zero says. I looked back and saw Nina blushing. Nina then punched Zero out of the car.

"How long are you going to hold on to me? Pervert!" She yelled and we got out.

"What did you do that for?!!" Zero yelled.

"They fight like children." I say and Ichî nods. "They sure do."

"That's what I wanna know!!! Who in the world are you?!!" She screams and we all sit down.

"Is it okay for us to tell them?" Zero asks.

"Well, I guess we have no choice." Ichî says.

They look at us. "To put it bluntly.... We're not from this world... And we're not human." Ichî says.

"We're wizards." Zero says.

'Wizards?' I wonder.

"Yes that one." Ichî says to Nina.

"She understands." Zero says and I sweat drop.

"Ohh, I see! That's what I thought." Nina says and I knew that her undertanding was fake. The boys laugh and Nina grabs a large hammer out of thin air.

"Who are you kidding?!!!!" Nian yelled.

"Whoa!" We say and back away.

Nina then starts fuming away. "Do you think I'm stupid or something! You think I'd fall for such a childish trick?!"

"Nina I don't think their lying." I say and they look at me. "They don't have any reason to lie."

"At least she gets it!" Zero yells.

"Anyway...." Ichî starts. "We're taking an examvto become professional wizards in the Magical World now.... It's called the Magic Exam. Examinees get teamed up into paids for the exam every year."

"This year, the examiner drops a gem known as the Crystal Pearl somewhere in the human world.... And the examinees have to find it six months before the end of the exam."

"In this system, only the team that's in possession of the Pearl in the end will pass the exam and become professional wizards. In other words, teams scramble for it the whole entire time."

"Hmmm." Nina says. "So where's this Crystal Pearl now?"

I face palm. "You just ate it-!!!" Zero screams.

"Whaaat?!!" Nina yells. "Then you're saying it was the candy on my cake?! The one I swallowes by accident?! Oh! This means you're wizards, right?!"

"That's what we've been telling!!" Zero yells. "You're so dumb!"

"This mwans I'm going to have wizards coming after me now! Oh, no! Hey, do something about it!! Sis!!" Nina yells and hugs me crying.

"You're stuuupid. You're stuuuupid." Zero says stretching his mouth and sticking out his tongue.

"Of course, that's what we're going to do. Im going to call the Exam Center. Stop that." He says.

"Yes, this is the Magic Examination Center." I looked at him while Nina and Zero faught.

"Oh, hello?" He said. "Well, what actually happened was blah blah blah.... And that's how we ended up in this situation."

I grabbed Nina and Ichî grabs Zero. "Okay, okay. Calm down." He said to Zero.

"Let go of meee!" Zero yelled as Nina gave him a raspberry.

"Uhh, yes...... What? It's not possible?"

"Huh?" We said.

"No... The Crystal Pearl should nevrr be eaten, so it's necessary to make a new remevmdt to remove it..... The earliest we could gave that remedy prepared would be.... uh.... In six months.... We would say."

"The exam will be over by then." Zero says.

"Well then, cancel the exam. Or have them bring a new Pearl." Nina says into the phone.

"That cannot be done." The voice says and I take the phone as Nina has a melt down.

"Excuse me is there anyway to have it before?" I ask.

"No, it cannot be done. I'm sorry." The voice which was a mans says.

"Ok, thank you for his time." I say. Nina was blushing. "What did I miss?"

"T-They said they were gonna protect me." She said.

"You two are sister right?" Ichî asks.

"Yes." I say.

"You two don't look alike." Zero says.

"She's not my 'real' sister" I say. "Im her adoptive sister."

"You won't leave me alone will you sis?" Nina asks me.

"No." I say and smile at them all. "I hope you boys don't mind if I tag along. The examinees won't attack me."

"But they might take you hostage." Ichî says. "Zero will protect Nina and I'll protect you."

I blush slightly. "Thanks Ichî."

"I see. That explains it all." A voice says and I look up and saw the two examinees from before.

"Ah!" Nina exclaims. "You're that-"

"We're examinee numbers 003 and 004, Sun and Forte" Sun said.

"We thought it was kind of odd to find another person and came to check it out... So you have the Crystal Pearl." Forte says.

Zero grabs Nina and Ichî grabs me protectively. I blush slightly. "Forget it! They're ours! We won't let you take them away!"

"Hmph! We'll see about that." Forte says and snaps and looks at Ichî and me. "You can keep your little girlfriend."

"We don't care about the other girl just the Crystal Pearl." Sun says. "It's my turn now! Here I gooo. Summoning Spell Cat Step!!"

"Heh!" Zero says about to take off his glove and we get into the car. "I can't beat that cat with a single..."

Ichî grabs Zero and he's in the car. "... Blow-?! What the heck, Ichî! Let me fight!!"

'Such a brat..." I think.

"When you go into one of your rampages, you destroy everythingg, so you can't." Ichî says and he moves to the back and grabs my arm and moves Nina in the front. Zero is driving. The cat was getting closer.

"Hey, it's catching up to us!! Oh my God! It's so cuuuute!" Nina says looking back and I sweat drop.

"Zero take over the wheels. I'm going to cast a defensive spell." Ichî says and I see a round barrier and it hits the cat. "Let's make a fun for it now!"

Zero grabs Nina while Ichî holds my hand. "All right.... Hold on tight, Nina."

"Huh?" Nina asks and Zero jumps up in the sky with Nina.

"Good luck!" We yell.

"The Crystal Pearl is getting away! San let's go after her!" Forte yells and Ichî stops him but not San.

Time skip~

We found Zero but not Nina and we got into the car. The cat then flew into the air and we drove around. 30 minutes pasted and we finally heard a beep from the Finder.

"I got a response signal." Ichî said.

"It's around here!" The Finder chripped.

"Nina's in that building. Can you confirm her location Zero?!" Ichî yelled. There was a building that had an Ice Cream cone on top.

"Viva choro okay!!" Zero yelled.

"What kind of answer is that?" Ichî and I asked. Zero finds the spot and he blows it up and yells. "Ninaaaaaaa!"

Ichî and I grab Zero and he falls into our lap. Zero looks up at us and smile. "See? Wasn't I right on the mark?!"

We sigh. "You went too far, jerk" Ichî says and we drop on the ground.

"Didn't your momma tell you not to take other people's belongings?" Zero taunts. "For-chan?"

"Zero! Ichî! Mika!" Nina yells she was tied by.... snakes?

"Fools! Fools! I'll have my revenge!" Forte takes out a flute and he starts playing it but we pretended that it affected us. "Het thw Crystal Pearl out of her stomach!!"

"Nooo!" Nina screams and Zero grabs a hold of us.

"You think we would fall for such weak magic?" Zero asks. "Sorry For-chan we're taking back Nina!"

Zero lets go of Nina and goes up in Forte's face. "You think you can beat me.... With such a cheap spell?" He asks and pus his hand back. "Destruction spell! Break Ground!!!!!"

He then destroys the ground and blows Forte away and comes near us. He looks sy Nina and smiles. "Didn't we tell you? We'll..... do all we can do in our powers to protect you?"

I walk towards Nina and Ichî goes towards our face. "Don't do anything without us from now on, oka"

We blush. "Okay."

"For 180 days, until our exam ends.... we're staying with you two , whether you like it or not! Don't cause too much trouble."

Nina glares and him. "I know. I hate you!!"

"Whaat?" Zero yells. I smile and Ichî leans into me smiling.
