A Idea 2 (Toys)
Author's Note: An idea for a story. The toys thing is only put for that I can remember what idea is what. You can call this idea a prologue, if you will. I do actually have drawing concepts of the toy!hermits that are the main group for the story.
If this story ever gets a continuation, this'll just be in Iskall's POV. I hope ya'll enjoy it.

Iskall's POV:
Oooh...
My whole body feels... wrong. It feels all fuzzy and weird at the same time. I 'opened' my eye, but it just felt like the blackness just went away. I looked at my hand and stared blankly. It was a nub, but the edges had small little holes where some skin was showing through.
What even was I?
I looked towards a small broken mirror and crawled towards it. I froze up as I stared at my little, wooly toy form. I looked like one of those little figures that were covered in felt, but at the same time, I looked kind of like a plush.
I slowly stood up and waved my arms for balance. My legs seemed to be filled with beads as I squished them against the ground. The wood below me didn't even creak as I walked over to the 'wall' and put my little nubs onto it. After I bended the nubs enough, I managed to pull myself up and looked out into what looked like a massive area. It was kind of like an area within a mall or flea market.
Why was I here?
The crowds of people all seemed to be staring at something. One faceless person, the only feature they had was the slight indication of a nose, was clapping their hands. The clapping soon erupted into cheering as the waves of people separated as a tall, faceless person held up someone with a chain around their neck. The person walked forward causing the people to separate even more.
In the chain, in the chain.... was Mighty.
Mighty was struggling as a pair of handcuffs were harshly put around her wrists. The wolftiger was barking and thrashing as the hybrid was thrown to the ground. A snap came from her arm as I flinched.
" Squeak..."
Mighty's ears perked up as the hybrid weakly smiled. The hybrid took a deep breath before yelling over the cheers of the people.
" FIND THE HERMITS AND THEIR MARKS, ISKALL!" Mighty's screamed as her ears went back and her tail fluffed up. As soon as Mighty finished her sentence, a bolt of electricity came from what looked like a gun in the figure's hand into the chain around Mighty's neck.
The hybrid let out a sharp howl as her body seemed to glow. Soon, she became limp and fell unconscious. This caused the crowd to cheer louder as Mighty's body was roughly dragged across the ground. Once the tall person was out of the line of view, the crowd continued to walk around as if nothing happened.
I lowered myself back into the box and looked around. A plush that was made out of yarn was laying down in the corner. A mark of a flower and half a snowflake was on its back. I moved closer and turned the plush over.
Stressmonster....
The pink jacket and brown hair that covered one of her eyes was enough to tell it was her. I probably should've recognized her even further because of the mark matching who she is as a person, but I'm honestly still frazzled over what's happening right now.
Find the hermits and their marks.
That's what Mighty told me. What was I suppose to do with this information though? I found the mark, but how do I even activate it?
I sat down next to the Stress plush and stretched my arm out to the symbol. The flesh circle on my arm glowed slightly and the symbol on Stress's back glowed too. My arm, which was still fuzzy, started to morph into a more human-like hand as I touched the symbol.
The rest of my body changed as well until I looked like myself again, but of course, I was still slightly covered in fuzz. My robotic eye wasn't working too well either, but it was actually glowing now. I don't really know how long it'll take to be completely human again, and I don't know how we'll return to our normal heights.... I wish I did. I also wish I knew where the other hermits were.
I shuddered internally as I focused my attention back on Stress. The hermit's vines slowly grew and wrapped around her arms but no flowers grew. A soft groan flowed through the air as the plush Stress gently sat up. I moved back. I should be panicking at what I was witnessing, but I'm a toy too...
" AH!"
Of course, Stress probably has no clue on what happe-
"AAAAAH!"
The screams moved around me as Stress flailed her plush limbs. I raised my arms and grabbed at her causing even more of a struggle.
" STRESSMONSTER!" I yelled at her even though I don't even have a mouth. Stress had a mouth, but she couldn't actually open it.
Stress stopped screaming and started to catch her breath. She looked at me with her bead eyes, " Iskall?" she questioned with a small tilt of her head. I nodded slightly, " Yep." I sighed as Stress looked over at a mirror. I helped her over, and the two of us looked into it.
" What happened to us?" Stress questioned as I shrugged, " I don't remember." I explained to her what happened before she 'woke up'. Stress frowned as I continued to talk, " The weirdest part is that I can move more of my body now and I have fingers. It feels better to touch things now as if I can actually feel what I'm touching."
The hermit let out a soft sigh, " That's... kind of sad with what happened to Mighty, but I'm happy that you can move better." if Stress could emote, she'd be smiling sadly. I nodded in agreement.
" Come on, I'll show you where we are... I know that I described it, but it's most likely better to show you." I waved my hand as I turned around. The two of us pushed a block to the edge of the wood, and we both stepped up in order to look around at the massive area again.
The amount of people present had gone down. This may be our chance to explore more. I looked around again until Stress tapped at the side of my face. I looked towards her, " I can still feel when people tap my shoulder, Stress." I laughed slightly as Stress sheepishly rubbed her nub hands together.
Stress pointed across the way as I followed her arm. The hermit was pointing towards a robotic bird on a stand. It's controller was turned off, but the antennae on its head said otherwise. The bird was squawking and flapping.
Maybe it was on a timer of some sort? A hidden switch? I don't know.
" Why are we looking at the bird?" I questioned as Stress let out an annoyed sigh, " Look at the sign." she motioned downwards. I nodded as I looked down to some words that were carved into the post under the bird crudely.
" G R I A N H E R E "
It looked like it was carved by a knife or....
" A claw...."
Stress looked at me, " Stress.... Mighty must've found Grian and brought me back before she got captured..." I looked at her in alarm. Stress raised her arms, " Well, we have to get over 'ere to 'em.... somehow." she tapped her hands onto the wood.
I nodded as I looked around, " We could probably land on those cloths on the ground." I pointed causing Stress to nod. The two of us crawled out of the wooden area and made our way down. We were lucky that the faceless people weren't looking down or were nearby as we scampered across the path in order to find the mark of Grian and wake him up.
