Scar's POV:
Now, I don't get many calls from the literal hermit of the server. TFC usually keeps to himself, but when he calls out for help you, you know that something bad has happened. I flew through the sky and over Sahara's building.
The Architech Dragos were nuzzled against each other outside the building. They seemed to have been decorating a Christmas tree before falling asleep on top of each other. A small campfire had been set up next to them.
I smiled as I swerved down and landed in Sahara lands. I wasn't too far from TFC's base, but I wanted to read the sign next to the dragos. I yawned as I read the message that was left next to the campfire, " Hey, if you guys are going to be our competition, then please take care of yourselves. You aren't human anything. -Cub." I smiled at the note. Oh Cub, you've got such a pure heart sometimes man.
I shook my head as I took out a spare blanket and draped it over the three. After quickly making another sign, I placed it down next to Cub's sign and wrote, " Cub's right dudes. Please remember to keep yourselves warm. -Love, Scar :)."
I turned and quickly hurried to TFC's base after getting sidetracked. Once I got over the hill, I spotted Ren scratching at the door and trying to tug it open. Ren looked over at me, " You came too?" he questioned as I nodded,
" The Dragon Bros were snoozing on top of each other... I wasn't going to bother them." I told him as he nodded and continued to pull the door open. I sighed as I turned my dead skin off and put my coat on. It was.... It was getting too brisk honestly.
Ren looked back at me as his ears briefly went down. He started to bare his teeth before I narrowed my eyes, " We don't need to be all dead and corpse-y towards TFC. He needs our help, after all." I told him as he sighed and nodded. Ren turned back to normal after removing his cloak.
The dog hybrid tugged on the door again until it clicked open. I sighed as we both walked down into the bunker of the reclusive man. Ren cupped his hands to his mouth, " TIIIINFOIIIL!?" he shouted into the empty, dim-lighted halls of the hermit's base.
A weak groan came from one of the branch mines. Thankfully for us, it wasn't the one that had the zombies. We peered down the hall and gasped.
Tinfoil, fighting for consciousness, was leaning against the wall. A pair of slightly greyed antlers were pierced through his skull. I looked down at his legs as he stomped his black hoof against the stone ground; grey fur had grown from his exposed skin due to him wearing shorts. A small, fluffy tail soon joined him.
Tin's ears had changed to be grey and fluffy as he held them and groaned. I started to walk forward, but Ren grabbed me by my collar and pulled my back, " Look!" he harshly whispered as he pointed to Tin's leg.
Attached to one of his legs, a small, fuzzy wolftiger was biting down on him. The creature had decent sized antlers on her head, and a pair of hooves that replaced her back feet. Mighty let go of Tinfoil the moment she saw us.
The elder hermit was slowly recovering as he looked towards us, " You guys..... Need to run..." he weakly mumbled as his body quivered. Ren and I nodded while turning to run. We sprinted for the ladder, but a sudden pain entered my arm as I yelped and looked behind me.
Mighty's antlers were glowing as she had bitten down into my arm. I struggled as Ren hurried over to my side and grabbed at the body of the raging reindeer-wolftiger. Ren managed to pull Mighty off, yes, but Mighty grabbed a hold on Ren's shoulder with her mouth and tugged into his skin causing him to yelp.
Ren continued to keep a tight hold on Mighty as magic radiated from her antlers as she fazed through his body. Mighty hissed at us as blue magic glowed off of her eyes; she barked at us before opening a portal and diving through it.
Vanishing completely.
I held my head as I leaned against the wall for support. Ren crashed too as he whimpered and whined. We should... Give... ow..
((timeskip brought to you by Reindeer-hybrid!TFC helping Scar and Ren))
My tail twitched as I refocused on the room around me. My vision stopped being blurry as I grabbed at my newly formed antlers. I whimpered as I looked at the blood on my hands.
Tinfoil put his hands on my shoulders, " Are you okay kid?" he questioned in a whisper as I nodded slowly. TFC gave me a washcloth, and I cleaned my hands. The elder hermit's tail shook as he tapped towards a nearby chest, " I know that I got it somewhere..." he mumbled as he rubbed his beard.
I looked towards Ren as he rubbed his now bandaged shoulder. I winced and looked at my arm; the bandages were comfortably wrapped around the bite wound. Ren's dog ears and tail twitched as he waddled over to me on his newly formed hooves.
" I am confused." Ren tilted his head and poked at his very short and slim antlers, " Why do I have smaller antlers than you two?" he questioned as his tail swished. TFC looked up from the chest he was digging through, " Probably because you're already a dog. It ain't going to affect you too much if you've already got the ears and tail of another species." he shrugged as he pulled out what looked like a filing board.
After filing down mine and TFC's antlers, the three of us climbed upstairs and left the base. TFC checked his communicator, " You coulda sent this message out sooner Richards..." he sighed as he showed us the message.
" Hello everyone, Q here. Look, if you see a small wolftiger with antlers then please either get out of there or try to catch her. Arthur has forced Mighty into being like this, and S and I are trying to find where she is now. Send info, thanks." I read as my ears twitched.
The three of us sighed, " Well, at least we can't get turned anymore. We can actively find Mighty now." Ren smirked as his tail wagged slightly. I let out a sigh as Ren led the way back to the shopping district. My tail continued to twitch.
We.. We really needed to find where Mighty went. As much as I want my normal body back, I also don't want the other human hermits to be changed as painfully as us. We stopped in the shopping district as Ren started to sniff around. The dog deer sniffed at his shoulder and the air before nodding his head.
" This way!" Ren raised his arms into the air as he started to run. TFC and I looked at each other before moving as fast as our hooves would let us.
If Ren had a trail, then this should be good.
