A Muka and The Rabbit
Author's Note: Mini arguably has the worst memory out of all the Evolutionists. He and Grian were the first to meet (unless you could Grian and Taurtis meeting, of course). He's also the first to witness a rare death. A death that can permanently end a player in a game. It's typically used in Hardcore, but with magic, it can happen in normal survival.
I will give ya'll the warning of this short including blood and death.

Mini's POV:
It was a cool Autumn day as I swept the porch of a haunted hotel. A place I couldn't remember the name of now. I can't even remember if I can simply log off this place.
I had died... That was what I could remember. The wound, and multiple others, were scattered across my whole body. Which one caused me to die in the first place? I don't know. I just know that one of my friends, Gizzy, brought me back, and we worked at this hotel together.
I had a way to regain my humanity, Gizzy and I had explored it, but it was a risky gambit that would end our lives within two world's permanently due to a god straight from the Nether itself.
Speaking of Gizzy, where the blood hell was he? He said he was going to get the mail, and he never returned. I put the broom down and walked down the stairs, " Gizzy, I swear to god... If you left me to clean this place by myself again, I will personally raise you from the dead and kill you again." I growled under my breath as I walked to the bridge.
The fallen, brown leaves crackled as I stomped across them. The gentle crackles soon stopped as I halted at the red mailbox that Gizzy pulled infinite amounts of art and letters out of. This time, more eerily than usual, Gizzy wasn't there.
I frowned as I searched around. Nothing unusual around. The typical bone poking out of the ground, and the large spider webs meant nothing out of the ordinary. I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair. This honestly wasn't like Gizzy. I mean, I know he goes off to climb trees and view our gloomy surrounding, but he comes back eventually.
I searched around the mailbox and bridge. Something seemed wrong. I... I can't place my finger on it though. When I looked at the back of the mailbox though, I found some scratched up paint near the very back. I blinked and opened the mailbox.
A letter.
One single letter inside the box. The letter had blood gripping at it as if someone was struggling, and the inside of the mailbox was the same way. A hidden struggle.
The blood looked and smelled fresh. It burned like metal as I quickly took the letter out. I closed the mailbox and walked to the other side of the bridge in order to clear my nose.
I opened the bloody note, and if I wasn't dead, my blood would go colder than a winter's night.
" Come to the crooked tree. For something great you shall see... Love, an old friend."
What does this mean? Gizzy must have seen this. Gizzy was here, and this note freaked him out.... but why? I looked up towards the dark, oddly dark forest. I hated going in there. No, I dreaded going in there. It constantly felt as if I was being watched.
I stiffened my shoulders and forced some spit down my desert throat. I need to go in there. I need to solve this small mystery.
My feet dragged like a zombie's would as I entered the forest. I carried no weapons, so I could only rely on my fists. I walked as the leaves crackled under me. My body shivered as I stepped on each dead leaf.
Crackle.
I kicked through the piles of dead leaves.
Crack.
A branch from a dead tree.
I shook myself out and rubbed my arms with my hands. It was getting colder as I passed through the dense forest. The thick thicket that surrounded me soon lightened up as I reached the giant tree.
It was pitch black, as it was burned, and the area around it was cleared away with only dead weeds and bushes. It was as if the tree itself had the plague.
" Gizzy?" I cupped my hands together and called out. I was met with a light, cheery laughter. A laughter that didn't fit Gizzy at all. I looked around and saw some blood on the grass. The laughter remained as I followed the trail of blood.
My whole body stopped once the laughter was replace with agonized screaming. I snapped my attention towards the back of the tree and sprinted to the back. My body twitched as I nearly fell down from stopping too fast.
Gizzy.
A gasping to life, bloody, and stabbed through Gizzy had his hand wrapped around the knife part that poked out of his torso. He looked up at me with a pained expression, " I.... I should...." he coughed out blood as he was dropped to the ground.
Tears of blood and water was streaking down Gizzy's face. He couldn't look me in the eyes, so he looked at my barely beating chest, " s....sorry for....." another gag, " dragging you into...." one more gag, " this...."
Gizzy was dead. How was he dead?
How was he dead? Wait, but he was already dead. Why is he... How is he....
I looked up at the person who killed him. The masked man stared at me as the cheery laughter began again. He took off his mask causing two, solid white rabbit ears to rise and perk up in attention. His grin was wide and insane.
A monster.
" Hello again Mini! How's my second favorite British person doing?" the man asked as his ears wiggled.
Sam....
" S-sam...." I broke slightly. I looked at the monster that had killed my friend. His head tilted with a slightly sad expression, " Mini, why the sad expression? You're making me sad... Don't you want to live again?" he questioned as he grinned.
I narrowed my eyes, " Killing someone isn't how you bring them back." I narrowed my eyes and twitched slightly. Sam grinned as he took a step forward, " You British people are so so funny sometimes..." he spoke as he ripped the knife out of Gizzy's back. It was golden. A weird, magical aura spread around it.
It was one swift, agile movement. Sam stabbed me in the fleshy part of my shoulder causing me to scream. Why... Why do I feel pain? Why do I feel it....?
Sam ripped the knife out of my shoulder and stared gleefully at the blood, " It worked! You're, somewhat, alive!" he jumped up and down with the knife still in his hand. I looked at my shoulder.
Another stab, this time through my leg, caused me to yelp. I looked down at a smaller knife. It stuck through my leg causing it to bend a bit due to the pressure of a burning pain. I looked at Sam as he stared at me with dead eyes.
He charged at me, " YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!" he screamed as he leapt at me. There was one thing that Sam didn't know though. He was tall and agile, yes, but I had some brute strength in me from working at the hotel and solving problems. In one swift movement, I showed Sam to the ground and pinned him down with my boot.
Sam screeched and flailed like a toddler on drugs as he whipped around. I pulled my leg off of him and turned to run. Well, it was more like a weak stumble. I hurried out of the woods blindingly. I opened the chest in my room after climbing the stairs.
My whole body twitched as I took out a small, rainbow colored orb. I held it to my chest before slamming it on the ground. A purple pinkish aura went around me as I looked up and saw Sam's bloody face. He grinned, " I will find you again..." he whispered as my body started to vanish. Sam started to charge towards me. Sam leapt through me as my eyes were blinded by a bright light.
When the light stopped, I was in front of a strange school. Two men walked out of a flat. They saw me and stopped, " Oh, oh my god!" the American yelped as he and the other ran towards me. I collapsed to the ground as the adrenaline faded.
" Hey!" the dirty blond put his hand to my neck, " Taurtis, we need to get this guy to a hospital." he gasped as he studied my wounds. The Taurtis guy fixed his black headphones, " Grian.... Grian... D-do you recognize those stabs?" he questioned as the two picked me up. Grian looked at the wounds, " Sam..." he whispered as his eyes became wide.
I let out a weak laugh as my eyelids grew heavy. The two guys were.... The two guys were quickly and carefully moving me down the road. I breathed heavily as my head lowered. Sleep slowly overtook me as I put my head against the blond's shoulder. I heard calm, muffled chatter as I blacked out completely.
