The gang fights Rita's minions at a carnival in order to save Trini's cousin Sylvia.

*My POV*

We were at the carnival. "All right, heads up, everybody. Witness the Zackman on stilts. Yeah." Zack said as he walked over to us on stilts. Kimberly was holding cotton candy as we all watched him smiling. "You're doing great." Jason said. "Yeah." Zack said smiling. "No way. I could never do that. The only thing I can balance on is shopping bags. You know, on my arms." Kimberly said, causing Billy to laugh. 

"Hey, remember to keep your center of gravity correctly proportioned, okay?" Billy asked Zack. "Check this out." Zack said as he began dancing a little, causing us to laugh. "Yeah, this is all right. Whoa...whoa..." Zack said, and we all yelled out for him to be careful, before he fell into Jason's arms, causing them both to fall to the ground.

"My big strong hero." Zack said, before he pretended to kiss Jason. "Oh, man, get up." Jason said as we laughed. Someone was taking the stilts off Zack. "Looks like you over leveraged yourself again, Zack." Billy said as the stilts came off Zack. "Come on, stilt-head. Let's go check out the rest of the fair, you guys." Kimberly and I said as we dragged the three boys off. 

*3rd POV*

The guy that helped get the stilts off Zack, stared after the five of them, when in reality, it was a Putty. A hand was put on his shoulder. "Don't frown, my fellow clown. We'll get them. We'll get them all." The clown said, before they both began laughing. 

| Later on |

Trini and her cousin Sylvia walked into the fair. Let's go see the clowns." Trini said as she held the little girls hand. "Sounds great, cousin Trini." Sylvia said as she held Trini's hand. 

Bulk and Skull walked past a pair of girls that were playing a game, and took their cotton candy off the sticks. They ate it happily as they walked away from the girls. "Hey, look at that." Bulk said as he gestured to a clown, and Skull laughed. 

*My POV*

We were watching Pineapple the clown juggle. He was humming as well. We clapped as he finished, and soon Trini and her cousin Sylvia arrived. "All right!" We all said. "That was neat!" Sylvia said as we clap. "How's it going guys?" Trini asked. Sylvia rushed to me and hugged me. I laughed and hugged her back. 

"Guys, this is my cousin, Sylvia." Trini introduced her to us as I wrapped an arm around Sylvia's shoulders as she stood beside me. "Sylvia, that's Billy, Kimberly, Zack and Jason. And of course you know Izzy." Trini introduced the others as I held Slyvia close. "Hi, guys." Sylvia said as she waved. Everyone else smiled. 

"Juggle my eggs and make them fly. Won't one of you, give it a try?" The clown asked, a little creepily. "I'll give it a try!" Billy said as Sylvia was about to walk forward, but I know Billy didn't see. I bent down next to Sylvia. "Don't be disappointed, Billy probably didn't see you walking forward." I said softly and that caused Sylvia to smile. She knew I always told the truth.

*3rd POV*

Bulk and Skull noticed the group. "Ah...would you look at that. It's our favorite group of pinheads." Bulk said causing Skull to laugh. Skull shoved the cotton candy in his mouth. "Come on." Bulk said as they walked towards the group.

*My POV*

"Didn't you see the sign out front? 'No geeks allowed'." Bulk said as Billy began trying to juggle. "Better leave before this gets messy." Skull said as Billy threw the eggs in the air and they landed on Bulk and Skull. "One...two...three..." The clown counted. "Ha! Only one nailed me." Skull said, before the final one hit him.

"Four. I knew I had four." Billy said smiling. The rest of us were laughing and smiling as well. "Looks like the only mess around here is you guys." I said before Jason spoke. "Hey guys. They're doing gymnastics over there. Let's go watch." Jason said and we began walking over to that, before Sylvia stopped me and Trini.

"Can I stay here and play with Pineapple?" Sylvia asked as Trini and I moved our hair out of our faces. "Sylvia, we're supposed to stick together." Trini said softly. "How about we go and see some gymnastics and then we'll come back?" I asked. "Okay?" Trini and I asked. "Okay." Sylvia said. 

"Come on." Trini and I said as Trini held Sylvia's hand as she waved by to the clown and we followed the others. "Bye-Bye." The clown said as he waved back at Sylvia. "I'll catch you later." The clown said, before he smiled creepily. I got a bad feeling about that clown...and he laughed. 

*3rd POV*

Rita laughed evilly. "That's right. Walk into my trap, tinheads." Rita said as she looked through her telescope laughing evilly. Finister was humming as he looked at his stuff. "Finster! Finster! The fake carnival is working. The Power pipsqueaks are falling for it." Rita said as she went towards Finister.

"It's almost time for phase two. Now, what about the clown? Is he ready? I don't want any mistakes." Rita said as she made it to Finister. "Oh, yes, My Queen. I trained him myself. First, he'll use his magic power to turn the Power Rangers one by one into cardboard cut-outs. Then he'll transform into a horrible pine-octopus and terrorize the city." Finister explained.

"Excellent. Have him use that rat Sylvia as bait to get the rest of them." Rita said turning her back to Finister, before turning back to him. "Finster, don't blow it this time." Rita said, before storming off to who knows where. "Yes, o hideous one--of course, of course. Phew." Finister said as she walked off.

Baboo and Squatt were looking through Rita's telescope. "Uh-oh. Hey! Whoa! Take a look! Come here, Baboo!" Squatt said as Baboo came over quickly and looked. "O, nasty one. The clown hasn't gotten the Power geeks alone yet." Baboo told Rita as she came over. "Is he waiting for an invitation? Get the...Power geeks!" Rita yelled angrily and throwing a tantrum. 

"Whoa! Pineapple's making his move! I love it when a plan comes together!" Squatt said. "Gt those Power geeks...." Baboo and Squatt began chanting. "Oh, yeah!" Rita said as she needed this plan to work.

*My POV*

"I thought we were going to watch gymnastics." Jason said as him, Zack, Kimberly and Billy were making a tower. "You see that?" Trini and I asked softly as Sylvia nodded. "Hurry up, Trini. We'll lose structural integrity in about 8.3 seconds." Billy said causing me and Trini to laugh. We began coming over to get on top.

The order was clown, Zack, Jason, clown on the bottom. The row above them was clown, Billy, Kimberly. The row above them was going to be Trini and a clown, and I'm gonna be on the top. "Quick, quick." Kimberly said as I began climbing to get on top. "Okay." I said as I soon got on top, but we all began to stumble a bit.

I looked to see Pineapple back over with Sylvia and I was confused. "We did it, guys. Sylvia, look." Trini said as she looked up to see Pineapple walking away with Sylvia. "We're collapsing." Billy said. "Sylvia..." I began to call out but we all collapsed with yells. "I can't believe she left. Guys, I have to go look for Sylvia. I should have kept a better eye on her." Trini said as as she began running off. "Bye." Kimberly said as we watched her run off. "That clown seemed off." I spoke softly.

*3rd POV*

Pineapple was leading Sylvia farther away. He was also making sure that they weren't being followed. Trini kept running around the carnival, hoping to see if she can find them. Noise was happening all around Trini, and she was starting to panic since she kept looking for Sylvia. But soon, Trini saw Pineapple with Sylvia.

"Sylvia! Sylvia!" Trini called out to her, but Sylvia just kept walking with Pineapple. Pineapple looked at Trini and just smiled as he kept leading Sylvia away from Trini. Trini began making her way through the crowd, hoping to get to Sylvia in time.

"You're a fun friend, Mr. Pineapple." Sylvia said as she smiled at Pineapple. "I've got a new trick to show you." Pineapple said as he pulled something out and began to show her the trick. But Trini came running around the corner and grabbed Sylvia's shoulders. "Sylvia we were supposed to stay together remember? Let's get back to the fair. Okay?" Trini asked.

Sylvia looked at Pineapple. Before Trini and Sylvia could walk away, Pineapple grabbed Sylvia by the arm. "Not so fast babysitter. Sylvia is staying with me." Pineapple said. Trini quickly grabbed Sylvia. "Clown, back off." Trini said as she got into fighting position just in case. But Sylvia got in front of her. "No, Trini, no. He's my friend." Sylvia said.

But Pineapple sprinkled something on Sylvia, causing her to become a cardboard cut-out and Trini stared in shock. "Uh-oh. I guesss she's a bit board." Pineapple said as the cut-out of Sylvia fell to the ground. "What have you done?!" Trini shouted, but Pineapple just ran off. Trini picked the cardboard cut-out up. "Sylvia!" Trini said with a small sob, before she ran off.

*My POV*

We were getting off a ride. "Let's go to the Skywheel." Billy said as we all walked together. "No, let's go to the Tilt-O-Whirl." Kimberly said as we walked down the stairs, before Trini came running over holding something. "Guys!" Trini said. "Huh?" I asked. "This fair must be one of Rita's traps. Look what that clown did to Sylvia!" Trini said and we were shocked.

"She's been subatomically transduced into a two-dimensional state." Billy said as we began to worry. "There's gotta be something we can do." Kimberly said. "The quasitronic molecular generator in my garage could be the answer." Billy said. "Trini, you take Sylvia to Billy's place. Have Alpha teleport down and help." Jason said.

"Right. Okay." Trini said as she took the cardboard cut-out and ran off. "Get you the thrill of your life. Ride the Sea Dragon." A man said with a megaphone. Jason ran over to him and took the megaphone. "Attention, everyone. Get out! Rita's attacking the park! It's a trap!" Jason said and everyone began running and screaming. They ran to the exit. 

"Bipedally ambulate to the nearest convenient outlet." Billy said as he jumps and everyone runs past us. "Everybody, run!" Kimberly said. We kept telling them to run and get out so they don't get hurt. After everyone left the five of us were looking around. "Aw, man. Something tells me these guys aren't here to juggle." Zack said as we see clowns walking around.

"I bet they work for Rita." Billy said. "We can take these harmless clowns." Jason said as he chuckles. "Something tells me their not just clowns." I spoke up as one of the clowns ran towards us, and turned into a Putty. Kimberly and I gasped. "Oh, yeah some clowns, huh?" Kimberly said as the clowns kept turning into Putty's. 

"You guys ever been afraid of clowns before?" Jason asked as Pineapple appeared. He was laughing evilly and Kimberly screamed. He turned the clowns into Putty's. "Leave them and come with me if you want to save little Sylvia." Pineapple said as Billy walked away a little. "Billy!" I called out to him.

"All right clown. What have you done to Sylvia?" Billy said. "Billy, don't go!" Jason and I said as the rest of us were surrounded. "Come on! I don't have all day!" Pineapple said as he was ways away from where Billy was. Billy began chasing after Pineapple as we were fighting the Putty's. I saw Jason get kicked in the stomach. "Jason!" I shouted worried for my brother. 

I joined Jason's side and helped him fight the Putty's. Zack was picked up by one of the Putty's and put on a ride. We all kept fighting the Putty's. "Is it just me or they like metal or something!" I shouted as I punched a Putty and waved my hand to get rid of the pain after that. "Not just you!" Jason said as he helped me fight off the Putty's.

*3rd POV*

Billy was looking for Pineapple, hoping he would help him with Sylvia. But Billy saw in a mirror that Pineapple was about to sprinkle something on him, so he ducked quickly and it got sprinkled on a Putty that came around the corner, turning it into a cardboard cut-out. Billy stood up and looked at it before running back to the others.

*My POV*

Jason and I were basically fighting back-to-back the moment. We kicked one over a rail and when it hit the ground, it sounded like metal. Zack was stuck behind a dangerous ride. "The hand is quicker than the eye." Zack said as the Putty fell to the ground because of the ride. Zack laughed as he got off the ride.

Jason and I ran to a ride as we fought against the Putty's. Jason kicked one away as he followed me up to the ride. We began kicking the Putty's into the ride. We shut two of them inside and the one we were trying to hold off just kept coming. The ones inside the ride were reaching their arms out for us. "Hands off creeps!" I shouted.

*3rd POV*

Kimberly screams as a Putty appeared behind her. She kicked them away from her to by herself time, but she screams as one grabbed her and threw her off, causing her to go flying off. One of the Putty's flipped off the ride, going after her. 

*My POV*

Jason and I ducked down as the Putty jumped at us. We ran to the right and I slammed my hand down on the start button, activating the ride. Jason and I jumped over the railing and ran off as the Putty's scream.

We all regrouped and stood together. "You're going down, clown." Jason said as he kept me slightly behind him. "No more...clowning around." The clown said as it deflated and turned into one of Rita's monsters. "Okay, I think I've changed my mind about clowns." I said as I held onto Jason's arm a little. The clown was laughing evilly.

*3rd POV*

"All right! That Pine-Octopus is wonderfully wicked." Rita said as she looked through her telescope. "But what if he fails? He should have help." Baboo pointed out. Rita still smiling evilly looked into her castle. "You're right. Where's Goldar?" Rita asked and soon Goldar appeared. "You called, o wicked one?" Goldar asked as he walked over. "First, I want you to go down to earth." Rita said. "Then what?" Goldar asked. "Attack!" Rita demanded. 

*My POV*

We've been chasing after the clown. "Man, that's one big pineapple." Zack said as he pointed at the clown we were all chasing. "I mean, for a clown, why would they come up with the name pineapple?" I asked and the others shrugged. "It's Morphin' time, guys." Jason said and we all nodded and grabbed our morphers.

"Mastodon!" Zack said.

"Pterodactyl!" Kimberly said. 

"Triceratops!" Billy said.

"Velociraptor!" I said.

"Tyrannosaurus!" Jason said.

We were all Morphed, and soon Goldar, Baboo and Squatt came in. And so did some Putty's. We all began fighting the Putty's but as always they didn't stand a chance as we kept knocking them down easily. We all kept fighting till Jason and I were back to back and we used our upper strength to help each other.

*3rd POV*

Trini was at Billy's garage with the cardboard cut-out of Sylvia along with Alpha. "So, what is it, Alpha? What's wrong with her?" Trini asked Alpha worried. "The analysis shows that the only critical thing she's missing is h20--you know, water." Alpha said to Trini as he faced her. 

*My POV*

We all kept fighting against the Putty's more. Baboo and Squatt were watching. "Kimberly, Izzy, What happened to the monster?" Jason asked us as we kicked Putty's. "I don't know. He must have slipped away when the Putty patrol showed up." I explained as I dodged an attack and swept the Putty off his feet. "I think...he headed for the park." Zack said as he flipped a Putty over. 

*3rd POV*

"If you disconnect the electrodes, I'll apply the water." Alpha said as Trini did as told and Alpha dumped a small thing of water on the cut-out. "Nothing is happening." Trini said panicked. "I don't understand it." Alpha admitted confused as well.

*My POV*

Goldar joined the fight and we began fighting him as well with our weapons. He striked me down, which hurt a lot and I screamed as I fell to the ground. "Izzy!" Jason shouted worried. The others kept fighting him till Goldar got them one by one.

*3rd POV*

"I will re-evaluate the amount of water needed. Of course! That's it! I have it. More water." Alpha said as they both didn't notice that Sylvia was back to normal. Sylvia groaned as she sat up. Alpha splashed the rest of the water on her. "Detection alert, detection alert. Hiding, hiding, hiding." Alpha said as he stood somewhere else, like a robot. "What's going on? Trini, what did you do that for?" Sylvia said as Trini hugged her, not caring that she's wet. 

*My POV*

Jason was sent flying and we rushed to him. I got to him first, and helped him up. "Wait! Don't finish them yet. These pathetic Power Punks are mine." Pineapple said as he came running over to Goldar with Baboo and Squatt. "Now, to make cardboard out of the lot of you. Don't worry, it won't hurt a bit but it might hurt a lot." Pineapple said as the other three were sneezing.

We covered our mouths from it. "Go away, fools." Pineapple said as they teleported away. "So, your suits protect you from my magic. Well, I have other tricks up my sleeve. Your fate is sealed. Victory is mine." Pineapple said, and we looked at each other. "What a fruitcake." Zack said before we looked back at Pineapple.

"There is no escape. You are doomed. I am the mighty Pine-Octopus. I cannot be beaten." Pine-Octopus said before he shot something at us, causing us to fall to the ground with yells. I coughed a little. "Don't worry, Pineapple-face. We'll never give up. Never." Jason said as we slowly get up.

"You are no match for me-- the great Pine-Octopus! Why don't you give up and make it easy on yourselves?" Pine-Octopus said as he walked towards us, causing us to back away. He blasted something towards us, causing us to scream and fall to the ground in pain.

*3rd POV*

"All right now, grow!" Rita shouted as she threw her staff down to earth to make Pine-Octopus grow. 

*My POV*

"We'll have to regroup." Jason shouted as we all began coughing and we covered our mouths to avoid the sparkles. I thought I could hear Rita laughing with this monster. Trini came running towards us. "Hey guys! Alpha figured out how to save Sylvia. She's all right!" Trini said. "Way to go, Alpha." Kimberly and I said.

"Big deal! You're the ones I'm after. She was just the bait. Now, I've got you." Pine-Octopus said, before we all reached into the air. "We need Dinozord power now!" Jason said and soon our Zords came running. We all jumped up to enter our Zords. "Rangers, lock on." Jason said as he logged on.

"Zack here, ready to jam." Zack said as he logged on. "This is Billy. All systems go." Billy said as he logged on. "Trini here up and running." Trini said as she logged on. "Kim here. Let's get this clown." Kimberly said as she logged on. "Izzy here, ready to take down another monster so Rita learns her lesson!" I said as I logged on. 

"Power ring, synch up." Jason said as he put his crystal into place. "Two, one, mark." The rest of us said as we put our crystals into place. "All right, Rangers. Move out." Jason said and soon our Zords were running/flying beside each other. "Cover me, Jason. I'm going in." Trini said as she charged forward.

Jason covered her by taking the hits. "Jason, be careful!" I shouted as his Zord almost fell, but I made my Zord catch his in time. Trini's Zord jumped off a cliff and towards Pine-Octopus. "Hey, Billy, see if you can tie him up a bit." Trini said to Billy. "Affirmative. Deploying hooks now." Billy said as he shot his hooks towards Pine-Octopus.

It tied him up and held him into place. "Precisely on target." Billy said happily. "Yes! Billy, good shot." Kimberly said happily. "Good shot, Billy!" Jason said. "Time to teach that Pine-Octopus a lesson. I think we should freeze him up just like he did Sylvia. And give him a little dent. All right guys?" Trini asked. "Right. Leave it to me. One Pineapple flavored icicle coming up." Zack said.

His Zord began freezing Pine-Octopus. He soon was an icicle. "And leave the dent to me!" I said as I got my Zord to jump at Pine-Octopus and put a dent in his head. "Great. Let's get him, Jason." Trini said. "Right. Activating Megazord power." Jason said before our Zords began forming the Megazord. 

We were all sitting in the Cockpit. "All right let's do it." Jason said. "Morphin'!" We all said. "According to my calculations. A multi-phase energy blast should overload him and bring on his destruction." Billy said. "Yeah. Let's finish him off." I said to my brother. "Right." Jason said as we sent the blast and it got him, but it wasn't enough.

"It got him. But it wasn't good enough." I said. "Switching to battle mode now." Jason said. "Got it." Billy and Trini said. "Morphin!" Zack and Kimberly said as we all got into position. "Battle Mode Sequence, engage." Jason said and our Zords slowly stood up for Battle mode. "Megazord sequence has been initiated. Megazord activated!" The robotic voice said as it finished. We sent a blast towards Pine-Octopus and it caused him to disappear and explode. We all cheered as we won this battle. 

*3rd POV*

"But, my Queen, it wasn't my fault." Finister said, trying to defend himself. "I can't believe you messed up again." Rita yelled angrily. Baboo and Squatt began yelling at each other that it was each other's faults. Finister and Goldar were doing the same thing. Goldar hit Finister's head. "Can't you do anything right?" Goldar asked angrily. "Get out of my way you nitwits! Now I've got to come up with another plan!" Rita shouted angrily as she stormed off. 

*My POV*

This time, we were at a real fair. "Do you think Billy could teach me how to walk on stilts?" Sylvia asked as she saw Billy using somewhat stilts. "Uh, Billy? I don't think he's the one who can teach you." Trini said as her and Sylvia laugh. I lifted my head from Jason's shoulder as he stood up and as Billy walked over to us. 

"Hey, it looks like Billy's trying to reach new heights." Kimberly said. "You know, with my latest invention makes it easy for anybody to walk on stilts. Even me." Billy said as we all laughed. "Sylvia, I'm really sorry about what happened today." Trini said softly. "That's okay, cousin Trini. I shouldn't have wandered off. You taught me that." Sylvia said.

"I did?" Trini asked confused. "Yeah. You're a pretty good babysitter." Slyvia said softly to Trini and they both smiled happily. "Thanks, Slyvia." Trini said as they hugged gently. Billy began stumbling before he fell into Jason, Trini and I. "Well, Bill, I guess inventing has it's ups and downs." Zack joked, causing us all to laugh.
