*My POV*

"Come on, sign the petition. Please help us save the forest spirit statue." Trini said as we were trying to get petitions for it. "Yeah. Help preserve our city's history. Save our statue." Billy said before we heard Bulk.

"What's the big deal? It's a pile of old concrete." Bulk said and we looked at him annoyed. "The city council wants to tear it down and put in a barbecue pit." Trini said. "Good. Maybe we'll get some decent chicken and ribs." Bulk said.

"Yeah. Some decent chicken and ribs." Skull said. "It's not good. Everybody's forgotten why the statue was put up." I said as Billy nods. "According to the legend, the forest spirit provides a buffer against harmful arthropods." Billy said and everyone looked confused.

"It's to protect us against bad insects." I explained to them, and everyone got the point. "I'm for that cause crawlers give me the heebie-jeebies. Yuk! Especially spiders." Zack said pointing to the tarantula.

"See the flower in the statue's hair? That's to remind us most insects are helpful to humans." I explained pointing to the flower. "Bulk, how do bugs help humans?" Skull asked Bulk before Bulk got a smirk.

"Let's find out." Bulk said before picking up the box with the cockroaches. Skull took the lid off. And Bulk threw the bugs in the air which landed on all of us, causing a lot of us to scream. Bulk and Skull were dumping all the bugs.

Tommy began trying to get the bugs off me. Zack suddenly started screaming as the spider was on his shoulder. "Somebody get it off! Somebody get it! Aah!" Zack shouted. Tommy and I looked up as everyone was trying to get the insects off.

Tommy and I went towards Zack. "Somebody get it off!" Zack shouted. Trini was trying to help, but she didn't want to touch it. "Don't move! Stand still Zack! I've got it. I've got it." Tommy said, and just as he was about to get the spider the spider jumped off causing Zack and Tommy to almost fall.

I went over to Bulk and Skull. "Listen, you bionic bean-brains. What goes around comes around." I said before walking away as they rolled their eyes annoyed. I heard Bulk hiss at me, and I growled at him.

*3rd POV*

"Look! There it is." Baboo said. "I don't know why Rita wants it. It's just a dumb-looking statue." Squatt said really confused on why Rita wanted it. "Let's zap it and scram." Baboo said. "Yeah, to the moon." Squatt said as the putties began doing what they were told. "Go, putties. Rita's gonna be really happy with us this time!" Squatt said happily.

*My POV*

Trini, Kimberly and I were at our lockers before we heard Zack. "Hey. How did it go at science lab?" Zack asked us. "Mr. Barts went berserk when I only turned in three ants and a cockroach." Trini said.

"The rest of them got away, huh?" Kimberly asked. "We can thank Bulk and Skull for that." I said as Jason walked over. "We'll help you replace the bugs." Jason said and we smiled at him while I pat his chest.

"I know. Let's have a picnic and they'll just come to us." Kimberly said causing us to chuckle. "I think we have to be a little bit more aggressive than that." I said as I wrapped my arm around her. 

"Hi, Billy." Kimberly said. "Hi, guys!" Billy said. "What you got there?" I asked. Billy opened his hand to show a little mouse. "Oh, how cute!" Trini and I said. "I always wanted a little mouse for a pet." Kimberly said.

"Shh! He's not a pet. This is Jeff, my research assistant." Billy said and I smiled. "Yeah, well, I like mice just a little bit more than I like those creepy-crawly bugs. Ugh!" Zack said as he got the chills, causing us to laugh.

"Oh, look. The geeks have a new mascot." Bulk said. "Right. A new mascot." Skull said. "Well, he's smarter than some humanoids I know." Zack said. "Hey. You can't talk about Bulk like that." Skull said before he got elbowed by Bulk.

"All I know is he never failed an I.Q test." Zack said. "Oh, yeah?" Bulk asked before snatching something from me. "Hey!" I said. "Let's see if he can handle an obstacle course." Bulk said before throwing the book at Billy, causing him to drop the mouse.

"Jeff! No!" Billy said worried as we watched. "Eh!" Bulk and Skull said before they looked down. "What's this?" Skull said before he basically started dancing with Jack in his pants. We laughed as Skull yells.

Suddenly Skull jumped in Bulk's arms and held onto him. Billy handed me my book back and I took it. Billy reached into Skull's shirt and grabbed Jack. "That was very brave of you, Jeff." Billy said petting him. "Nice catch, Bulk." Kimberly and I said before walked away from them. We heard bulk drop Skull.

*3rd POV*

"It's exquisite. A marvelous piece of earth artwork that must have taken at least an hour to put together. Shall I place it in the dining room my queen?" Finster asked. "No!" Rita shouted. "Then the parlor, perhaps?" Finster asked.

"You, just shush. Listen! First things first! Finster, make me a monster." Rita demanded. "Yes, my queen. One sweet, slimy spider monster coming up." Finister said as he activated the machine. Rita laughed evilly.

"We'll stash this slimy beast and it's exact duplicate of the statue we stole. Throw in some spiders and moths. And now can you lunkheads guess what's next?" Rita asked. "Yeah. The Spidercron is hidden in the statue. Then you release it and make it grow and it completely crunches the whole city." Squatt said.

"That's what I was going to say." Baboo said. "What are the moths for, your nastiness?" Squatt asked. "What do you think?" Rita asked as she caught a moth in her hands. "Well, it's hard to say." Baboo said before Rita opened her hand and blew dust, causing Baboo to cover his face.

"Sleeping powder!" Rita said laughing. "They sprinkle sleeping powder and put everyone to sleep including the Power Rangers." Baboo said. "Oh, boy, what a plan. What a plan." Squatt said. "It's classic." Rita said before laughing.

*My POV*

"This place is excellent. It's perfect for acquiring insects." Billy said as him, Trini, Kimberly, Jason and I were walking. "Where's Tommy and Zack?" I asked. "Tommy's going to catch up with us later after Karate practice, and you know how Zack is around bugs." Trini explained.

"Especially Spiders." Jason said. "Come on, he has a hip-hapkido class to teach." Trini said as we kept walking. "Looks like there's enough bugs around here." Jason said as he killed a bug that landed on his arm.

"Let's get to work." Billy said. "Okay, come on." I said as we began working on catching the bugs. "Look at the size of this cricket." Trini said as she got a cricket. "You know, they're not so bad once you get to know them." Kimberly said as we kept collecting bugs.

*3rd POV*

"Aren't they sweet! I almost hate to disturb their nature hood." Rita said as she was watching them through her telescope.

*My POV*

"Got you. Hey, Billy, what kind of bug is this?" Kimberly asked as she put the bug in the container and put the lid on as Billy came over. "Ooh, that's a nice ind. Let me consult my manual." Billy said when suddenly we heard something and looked up to see Putties.

"Putties!" I said. "Get back!" Jason said as we ran opposite directions. We fought the ones that went after us. "Back!" Billy said as he jabbed the net he was holding at the puttie. I kicked the puttie a few times.

We kept fighting off the Putties. The Puttie Billy was fighting grabbed the net and began swinging him around. "Whoa!" Billy shouts as him and the Puttie kept spinning around. We all kept hitting the Putties, but they were still standing.

Billy had the net on the Puttie's head and as they spun around one last time, they were sent flying. I saw Jason get hit in the stomach. "Jason!" I shouted worried for my brother, but he quickly kicked the Puttie.

The Puttie's ran from us and disappeared. We all grouped back together. "Are you okay?" I asked my brother. "Yeah." Jason said. "What was that all about?" Trini and Kimberly asked. "I don't know." Jason said. "But you can be sure Rita's up to no good." I said as we kept looking where the Puttie's disappeared. 

*3rd POV*

Zack was standing in the middle of a circle of kids, and he began dancing. He was teaching them a certain way how to dance. They all watched him. Zack was sure the dancer of the group. "And that's Hip-Hop Kido." Zack said.

"That's cool!" One of the kids said as they gathered closer to Zack. "Hip-Hop Kido, like all other martial arts, teaches self-confidence and discipline. Remember: only use these moves for self-defense when you're in real danger, okay?" Zack asked.

All the kids agreed. "I'm gonna show you guys another combination, and I want to start with something simple this time. Who wants to go first?" Zack asked. "I do." A young male said. "All right, step on up. You guys back up and give us a little room, okay? All right, here we go. Ready?" Zack asked before doing the move.

The kid nods and did the same exactly move but was a little slower. "Okay, that's pretty good. Pretty good. I think you need funkier music. You guys want funkier music?" Zack asked the kids. "Yeah!" The kids said happily.

Zack went to it, and turned it on, but it wouldn't play anything. "Oh, man. Um, I left my cassette in my car. I got to go get it. So, you guys stay here and practice. I'll be right back, okay?" Zack asked. All the kids agreed. "Goes like this." A kid said.

The moths on the statue began flying around and slowly sprayed their dust on the group of kids. "What's going on?!" One of them asked confused before they all fell to the ground asleep. "Hey!" Zack said as he began running over to them.

"Hey, come on, you guys. Come on, hey. Hey, what's going on here? Come on, wake up. Wake up. Hey. You're all asleep. Zordon, come in. This is Zack." Zack said into his communicator. 

| Command Center |

At the Command Center, Zordon and Alpha answered. "Yes, Zachary." Zordon said as him and Alpha were looking into the viewing globe. "I got a big problem down here at Angel Grove Park." Zack answered.

"Ay-Yi-Yi-Yi-Yi! Zack, you weren't kidding." Alpha said looking into the globe with Zordon. "Those butterflies were made of sleeping powder. Leave the area at once. You are the next target." Zordon said.

| Back with Zack |

"I can't leave them alone." Zack said worried. "Don't worry, Zachary. I'll keep an eye on them!" Zordon said as Zack saw what was causing the sleeping powder. "Aw man, why did it have to be bugs? If they catch me, it's going to be rip van winkle time." Zack said as he began running.

The moths chased after him. He ran for a while before taking a break. "Dang, man, someone's gotta stop these dudes." Zack said before looking at the moths and looking away thinking. "The Forest Spirit Statue--it's supposed to, uh, protect people against bad bugs. Ah, these bugs are as bad as it gets. I got to go for it. Oh, man, this is impossible." Zack said as he ran to the statue and saw the state of it. 

"That statue's covered with those butterflies. Wait a minute. Wait--that's not the real statue! It's got snakes in its hair; it's supposed to have flowers! I bet Rita sent it!" Zack said before quickly looking around before grabbing his morpher.

"Mastodon!" Zack said.

Zack was morphed and he held his weapon. "All right. I'm going to find out what this is all about." Zack said before blasting it, only for the giant spider to be shown. "Aw, man, I knew it. Ah, yuck! A spider! I hate spiders." Zack said before Goldar appeared and began fighting with Zack.

Zack was doing good before Goldar got him sending him to the ground. Then after Zack got back up, Goldar got him again.

*My POV*

"I think that's enough specimens for Mr. Barts." Billy said as we were walking. "Between Putties, and bugs, I am wiped." Kimberly said. "I hear you." Trini said. "Come on, let's head back." I said. "Yeah." Kimberly said.

Before we heard one of the communicators going off. Jason dropped the box he was holding not caring. "Zordon, we read you." Jason said. "Rangers, Zachary is in trouble! Get to the Forest Spirit Statue now!" Zordon demanded and we knew what we needed to do.

"Pterodactyl!" Kimberly said.

"Triceratops!" Billy said.

"Saber-Toothed Tiger!" Trini said.

"Velociraptor!" I said.

"Tyrannosaurus!" Jason said.

| When they arrived |

We all landed in front of Zack, and we faced Goldar and the new monster. It shot webs at us, and we began struggling. Goldar sent an attack at us, and we were thrown to the ground. "Man, what is this?!" Jason asked as we all struggled.

"I can't move! I'm stuck!" Trini said as we kept struggling. Both monsters ran at us, but Zack jumped in the air and got his blaster out and shot at them.

*3rd POV*

"Magic wand, now!" Rita shouted before throwing her staff down to earth to grow Spidercron.

*My POV*

We watched as the monster grew. "We need Dinozord Power! Now!" Jason said and all of our Zords came running to us. "Let's do it!" Jason and I said as we all jumped up to our Zords. "Ready to Rock and Roll." Zack said as we were ready.

"All right, Rangers, let's power up." Jason said and he put his crystal into place. "Two! One! Power up!" We said as we put our crystals into place. "Time for some Megazord Power!" Jason said before the Zords began combining.

We were sitting in the cockpit. "Switching to Megazord Battle Mode!" Jason said. "Megazord sequence has been initiated." The robotic voice said as the we slowly became the Megazord. "Megazord activated." The robotic voice said as we stood to our full height.

We punched the spider, before it began shooting something at us, causing our feet to be stuck. "I can't move the feet!" I said worried before the spider shot a lot of webs in the air, causing a giant spider web to be formed around the Megazord.

He sent an attack through the webs, and everything started shaking. "Disengage Megazord!" Jason shouted, before all the Zords scattered, and we were sitting in our own Zords. "Transformation complete!" I said before Jason began fighting with the spider.

Billy shot some attacks at it, but it kept walking. "All right. You mess with my friends and I'm gonna mess with you. You're gonna find out what Mastodon power's all about. Let's see how you like my deep freeze." Zack said before pushing a button causing him to send freezing air to the spider.

The spider got frozen in place. "Nighty-night, web-face." Zack said before the spider shook off the ice. "He shook free!" Zack said before the spider laughed and sent attacks at us. "Whoa!" Zack said as he shakes.

Jason tried to hit it, but it jumped in the air and got his Zords stomach, and he was sent flying. "Jason!" I shouted worried for my brother. The spider laughed evilly. "Zordon! Come in!" Jason said. "Yes, Jason!" Zordon said. "We need Tommy's help!" Jason and I said.

*3rd POV*

Tommy was practicing. He kept doing moves while holding a fucking katana sword. When suddenly his communicator went off. Causing him to slam his sword into the ground. "I read you, Zordon." Tommy said out of breath.

"The Rangers have been cornered by Rita's spider monster in Angel Grove Park." Zordon said. "Is Izzy, okay?!" Tommy asked worried. "She's fine, but she's barely holding on with the others. They need your help." Zordon said. "Right. I'm on my way." Tommy said, ready to save the love of his life-- I mean, his friends.

"Dragonzord!" Tommy said.

*My POV*

Tommy landed on a thing of stone. "I call on the power of the dragon." Tommy said. "All right, Tommy!" Jason said. "Tommy!" I said happily. Tommy began playing his flute and his Zord came out of the water like always.

"Morphin!" Jason and I said. Tommy's Zord began fighting with the spider, and it used it's tail to hit the spider, then he punched it and kicked it causing it to stumble. Then the spider shot webs at his Zord.

The spider picked Tommy's Zord up. Then it shot something at the Zord. "Dragonzord missiles!" Tommy said before playing his flute, which caused his Zord to fire missiles at the spider, which caused it to hit the ground.

Jason's Zord and Tommy's stood by each other and the spider shot the same attack from earlier at them. "Whoa! We need the Megadragonzord." Jason said. "You got it Jason." Tommy said. "On-line." Billy said.

"I'm with you." Trini said. "Count me in! Let's bring our Zords together and blast this bug." Zack said and Zack, Billy and Trini all began coming together to form the Megadragonzord. They came together and formed the Megadragonzord. "Megadragonzord, powered up and ready for action." The four of them said. 

They drilled through the spider, and that caused him to fall back and explode like every monster does when we defeat them. 

*3rd POV*

Zack ran back over to the group of boys, as they were yawning and getting up. "Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey. What's this falling asleep in the middle of class business, huh? I'm gonna have to put you guys on some vitamins or something. All right, I'll tell you what--who remembers this move? One, two, three...kick!" Zack said before he did the move.

"He does." Someone said. "Come on, let's see it." Zack said pulling the kid a little for him to show the move. Which he did it. "All right, now everybody, here we go all together, ready? One, two, three...kick!" Zack said as all of them began doing the move. 

*My POV*

"Once the monster was destroyed, the statue reappeared unharmed." Trini told us as we were walking. "That's terrific!" Billy said as we saw the others. "Hey, guys, guess what. The city council decided not to tear down the statue." I said.

"Yeah! All right!" Everyone said as they cheered. I walked down the stairs, and Tommy wrapped an arm around my shoulder, causing me and him to blush. "That is so great. What brought on the flip-flop?" Kimberly asked.

"They couldn't believe how many signatures we got on the petition. They declared it a historical landmark." Trini said. "Cool." Kimberly said. "Hey, Zack, did this experience help you overcome your fear of spiders?" Tommy asked him as we walked. 

"Oh, absolutely, man. I mean, I can positively say that is one problem I have overcome." Zack said. "That's good man, you know that's really good, because there's a really big one right now on your left shoulder." Tommy said as I placed a fake spider on his shoulder.

The others smiled as they saw this. Then Zack looked at his shoulder, to see the fake one, and he screams and spun in a circle. "Get it off! Get it off! Come on!" Zack said as we laughed. "It's rubber, dude." I said as I took it off him. 

"It's a good thing you've overcome your fear of spiders." Tommy said slowly, causing all of us to laugh as we stood together happily.
