Chapter 3: My First Day

Diamond woke me up several times that night to nurse. But then in the morning a giant storm (Northwestern Storm) came. All day I stayed in the stall and cryed both with fear and sadness for my dam. The thunder roared and crash as my fear closed around me. I started to screamed with tearer, Diamond was at my side at once.
Hush, Hush, Hush little filly. All is okay. It is just the past Racehorses running in Freedom Field, a place where all horse both racing and non go when they die, in a race not for Honor but just for they can. The thunder is their hooves striking the clouds. The flash lighting is the starting bell. While the line lighting is a herd of horses roaming the land has one big Spirit. That is them going home to the land or the clouds. Feel sound of the thunder of the bell as it fills you with power to run!

With that she sent me off to sleep. Carly can in the stall later, I opened my eyes up and looked at her. She just stroked me again and again. Slowly I learned to trust her just like Mama told me to. I could feel the heart and passion she had for us horses. I knew that she would never steer me wrong. I couldn't wait for my first day out in the field. I could smell that they are more foals in the barn then just me and Diamond. Through the rest of the day Diamond told me stories of her days as racer and a hunter jumper. She also told me stories of my brother/her twin ,Frosty's Frostbite. Frostbite had power to run on and on. In the few races they race together no one could catch the two of them. They kept going and going. After that story she started to cry. She was crying for our Mama and for is stillborn colt. She told me her colt fiery red with four white socks, along white blaze on his face, his hooves were black. He had all the promises of speed and power. With that, the moon roze and we went to sleep.
