I woke up the next morning the sun was bright and the birds where chirping then images of last night's incident flashed in my mind I really wanted to l find out what they were hiding and was Scott really dangerous?.

I sat up Maddie wasn't in the room I was alone feeling a bit of Adrenaline rush I stood up and went over to her side of the room to search for whatever Scott was looking for that had supposed powers. After searching for some minutes I found nothing then I noticed a little brown wooden  box at the far corner of the bed  hidden in plain sight.

I walked towards it then I heard laughter and quickly jumped on my bed as Maddie and Jaxon walked into the room and I pretended to be waking up.

"last night was........" Maddie was saying then she saw me and stopped.

"um... Amazing Ariana's party was so good" Maddie said but I knew she was lying they went somewhere they didn't want Scott to get there before them.

"hey guys so?.... Did anyone die this time?" I asked yawning.

"morning Jenna" Jaxon said smiling walking over to me.

"I don't know some random guy, sorry about what happened last night" Maddie said and I fake smiled.

"it's nothing I didn't even want to go" I said and Jaxon took my hand in his.

I never felt so awkward who the hell where this people I thought they were my friends but they hid a lot from me and Jaxon said they didn't want anything to happen to me.

"are you going for classes today?" he asked and I nodded.

"do you want me to drop you off?" he asked and I shook my head.

"don't worry I'll be fine" I said and he nodded and smiled. I felt kind of scared since Scott said 'you guys are demons you don't know how much power that thing yields' they were dealing with something paranormal, out of the ordinary.

"I have to get ready" I said pulling my hand away from his and standing up and I went into the bathroom.

JAXON'S POV

"Why is she acting weird?" I asked Maddie.

"I don't know you don't think she....."

"no she couldn't have she was asleep" I said interrupting her.

"she shouldn't find out anything it's dangerous for her, follow her to class today and study her. If she knows we are in big trouble" Maddie said and I nodded she mustn't find out she shouldn't I didn't want to loose her.
