"but Jaxon said I should stay away from you cause your dangerous" I said and he laughed.

"then you should probably listen to him, I can be dangerous if you get on my other side and trust me you don't want to now go meet your friends I have somewhere else to be" he said about to walk away then his phone rang.

"yeah?" he said answering the call. "shit! What's she doing there?" he asked over the phone. "okay has she seen you or Heath yet?" he asked. "I'll be there soon just stay out of sight" he said and hung up.

"what's wrong?" I asked and he sighed and turned to face me for a moment I thought he was going to yell at me just like Jaxon does.

"look just mind your business and live your life like you don't know what's going on don't get too curious trust me it would only bring your worst nightmares to life, like I said the less you know the better" he said before running off and I watched as his long legs stride over to the next street till he was out of sight.

'the less you know the better' Jaxon had said those exact words maybe I should just quit this investigation and obey what Scott said live my life normal but the adrenaline in me won't allow me to I knew I was going to find out......... I needed to find out.

I climbed into my car and thought of going to meet Jaxon to talk to him. he seemed really upset when he left I don't want to go see him, I just don't want to be on the receiving end of his anger.

I turned my car and drove in the direction of his house, he and Nigel rented a room outside campus. I drove down and after a while I finally arrived at their building.

I entered the elevator and it took me to their floor I hopped out and walked towards their room I gave a little knock on the door and twisted the knob it was open and I entered inside to see a girl jump up from Jaxon's legs unto the bed trying to pry her shirt over her head and Jaxon was shirtless with wet, swollen peach lips. I felt a little ache in my heart of course I knew what they were doing.

"sorry, maybe I should come back some other time" I said about to leave.

"no, no please stay Faven was just leaving" Jaxon said stopping me and I stared at Faven she had a tattoo of two bold letters I couldn't make out on her neck.

"is she the one?" Faven asked him smiling.

"yeah" Jaxon replied running his hand through his messed up hair probably from Faven running her hands in it.

"is she a?.....

" No" Jaxon cuts her off before she could finish her question.

"I'll see you later tonight" Faven said smiling then winked at me before leaving, they were doing this again tonight? I thought to myself.

"no we aren't babe I'm sorry you had to see that" Jaxon said coming closer.

"did you just answer the question in my head?" I asked shocked.

"no... I........ Um.. I didn't I just read your expression" he said nervously and I nodded suspiciously he definitely just answered the question in my head but I brushed it aside.

"so you and Faven? Nice" I said fake smiling.

"I said I was sorry you had to see that" he replied moving closer.

"why are you apologizing? It's not like we're together or anything" I reminded him.

"I know we aren't and I really want us to but your not letting me get close" he said was he for real? he wanted me to let him get close after last year?.

"just stop you can't go around telling people that we're dating" I said

"what are you saying I didn't do that" he replied sincerely.

"but Scott said......" I stopped myself.

"Scott said what? I thought I told you to stay away" he said coming closer and I'm shocked he isn't yelling and I stared at his bare upper body he has the same tattoo Faven had on her neck by the side of his upper arm. I had never seen it before probably cause I've never seen him with his shirt off.

"what did he tell you?" he asked his eyes locked on mine.

"he said I should stop being curious and listen to you, he said you know what's best for me" I replied and he let out a breath I didn't know he was holding.

"well you should listen to him for once he used his brain" he said chuckling a bit.

"what are you protecting me from what don't you want to tell me?" I asked and his hands cupped my cheeks.
