Chapter Eleven

"Mommy! Mommy!" Aaron cried running over to his mother, who was busy talking at her Birthday Party. "Yes Aaron?" Midnight asked looking down at her innocent son. "I made a new friend!" "Really where is he-" Started Midnight. "She! Mommy! She!" Giggled Aaron as Midnight smirked. "Oh, so it's a she friend?" Asserted Midnight scanning the ballroom for this "she" friend. Aaron giggled again shaking his head. "She isn't here anymore." Midnight's face contorted to a suspicious look. "What did she look like or tell you?" Aaron thought hard a moment before replying. "Well she was grown up like you, and she has a castle too! She said I could visit! Oh and she burned a cupcake, while trying to help me by getting it for me! It was funny!" Midnight stopped cold the second she heard the word burned. "Wolf! Silver! CJ! Zero! Skylar! Lexi! Louise! Everyone else get the guards and meet in the dungeon!" With that everyone rushed down the spiral staircase, and down the dark musty hall. They approached Abigail's cell to find the chains melted, and the cell door wide open. Midnight was right her son had been speaking with Abigail.

Abigail sighed floating back and forth in her bedroom, as her blaze rods hissed and clinked. She could only hope she would return to normal soon. She just needed to have a bit of training from her Father, plus she needed to control her powers. Just so this kind of "incident" doesn't happen again. Abigail stopped only floating in place and stared out the window. Hoping...Just hoping...Like before that she'd return to normal.

Scarlett laid in her bed (in her daughter's castle) staring at the ceiling. "Dear don't worry she'll be fine it happens." Said The Blaze King smiling at his wife. "Yeah but I wish I could help her." Replied Scarlett sadly. "Perhaps you can." He said back with a smirk, Scarlett shot up from laying down instantly. "How my love?!" She cried crawling to the end of the bed, and peering up at her husband smiling. "Be her Mother and be there to support her." Was all he suggested before vanishing in a puff of smoke. Scarlett thought then had a genius idea! She'd write a letter to her daughter! She noticed going through her daughter's belongings, that she had a thing for collecting letters people had sent her. Scarlett grabbed a pen and paper and began to write.

Dear Abigail,

I know it's all so sudden finding your family again. Discovering another one of your powers...Huh reminds me of when your Father and I first met. That's not important my point is, it'll be okay it'll get better. Remember I am your Mother and you can talk to me. I want you to just know I love you.

Scarlett

Scarlett smiled proudly at her "work" and sealed the letter into a envelope. Then used a wax seal before slipping it under Abigail's bedroom door. All she heard from in the room was a small sigh, followed by clinking and hissing. Scarlett only hoped she could cheer up Abigail, as she pondered outside the door she heard the clearing of one's throat. She spun around startled to see Emily standing there. "Excuse me Miss for startling you." Asserted Emily timidly. "Oh it's fine honey!" Cried Scarlett waving her hand dismissing the whole moment. Emily simply nodded and went on carrying about her chores. "Oh Abigail cheer up soon." Thought Scarlett.

Midnight paced in the library where everyone gathered to plan. "Calm down Mid!" Began Louise. "I CAN'T SHE HAS BEEN NEAR OUR SON!" Shrieked Midnight before Louise sighed. "You mean your son..." Mid blinked confused as Louise got on one knee. "For now." He grinned as he pulled out a box. "Midnight Zorona Nightwick will you marry me?" Midnight gasped before crying tears of joy nodding. "Yes! Yes I will marry you!" She cried pulling him into a kiss, while everyone watched smiling. Just then Aaron walked in and blinked..."You don't love me anymore?" He asked tears welling in his eyes. "No baby that's not what this is-" Aaron just glared. "IT IS!" Cried the misunderstanding three year old. Louise tried to walk over to explain to Aaron, and was sent back by a lightening bolt. "Aaron!" Gasped Midnight as her son stormed off. He didn't want to share his mother! He hardly ever saw her anyways, he'd probably never see her again! As he felt the tears come he ran out into the gardens. Where could he hide? Suddenly it hit him he'd go stay at his new friend's castle! He huffed as he tried to teleport (which he still hadn't mastered yet) and like always failed. Annoyed he climbed over the garden wall, hoisting his small body over and escaped. "Maybe my new friend will love me more." He said aloud running through the kingdom in the dead of night. "Maybe my new friend won't be to busy for me."

Sometime later Aaron approached the massive, dark, and somewhat gloomy castle. Running to the doors he knocked ever so gently, thank goodness Scarlett heard him knocking. As she opened the door she looked surprised. "Hello little boy is there something you need?" "Are you lost, hurt, or just wandering?" Aaron giggled at her which confused Scarlett more then before. "No! I'm looking for my new friend is she here?" He squealed as he was invited inside. "New friend?" Thought Scarlett as she closed the door behind them both.
