When the sun rose a older girl walked through the streets littered with innocent people. She looked at least fourteen her dress tattered & her hair a mess. She froze when she saw two small bodies side by side on the ground. "ANNE! GRACEN! NO!" She cried out rushing over cradling their lifeless bodies. She glared up & shouted. "YOU JERKS I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" She yelled with hate in her voice. A new era had began the future queen had promised to herself, she will avenge her dead father, brother, Anne, & who she thought was dead maybe. Her little sister.......Midnight. She brought the two bodies, of the small children she once knew to the castle. Crows called out eerie silence swept over the land. As she approached the castle a few guards rushed to her. "Princess! Princess! It's your father. He was wounded severely...If you need to say anything to him I would do so now." She froze and the other guards looking upon, Anne and Gracen's bodies sadly took them from her and vanished. She pulled up the skirt of her tattered dress and walked into the castle to her father's bedroom. Immediately she could tell his life was hanging by a thread. "Father." She said rushing to his side as he began struggling to breathe his shirt was soaked in blood. A few tears rolled down her cheeks. "Father I love you, I know I don't tell you that enough I should. I love you Father so much." She wept holding his hand. But the King hadn't been listening to her, he was thinking of what he would say for the very last time. "T-Tell Midnight I l-love h-her." He choked out as he drew in a deep breath. He blinked and this time his eyes stayed open. She wept harder he didn't care for what she told him. He cared only about Midnight she was always his favorite. She glared and turned to the guards. "We will bury my father and my brother, in the morning along with Anne." Something seemed to snap in her. "Yes Princess." The head guard said saluting. She smirked and slowly walked over to him nose to nose. "Make that Queen." She said in a grave sounding tone and walked out. The guards jumped in surprise. The doors slammed shut on their own as she walked out. The slamming sound rippled through the air, and seemed to stay about in the air. Leaving everyone in complete silence.
