ᅳ    𝗂𝖿 𝗂𝗍'𝗌 𝗆𝖾𝖺𝗇𝗍 𝗍𝗈 𝖻𝖾, 𝗂𝗍'𝗅𝗅 𝖻𝖾 .
𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻. 𝗌𝖾𝗈 𝗒𝘶𝗅

YEONGRAN ALWAYS LOVED THE EVENING sunset and would often go to the sea beach to get herself the beautiful view of the sunset where the skies are painted in various orange hues and tinted with slight pink and purple that often changes from time to time but it always gave Yeongran a peace of mind.

Sunset and sunrise became her peace and her safe zone, far away from the bustling cities with no human interaction but just only her and her own thoughts. People barely found about this beach area due to it being hidden by a high mountain and a cliff but as for a cultivator like her, it was an easy task.

Despite being in this place all alone everytime, today she brought a person along. Her lover .

They held their hands together as they walked by the seashore with barefoot keeping their shoes together at the dry sand area. Their feet were met with the cold gentle waves from time to time as they walk slowly while Yeongran was collecting some beautiful seashells around.

"How did you manage to find such a place?"

Yeongran chuckled and inhaled the gentle breeze that smelled like the ocean but she found her little comfort in those "I think I accidentally found this area when I fell down from the cliff. I ran away from home because of the heavy practices and I was tired so I ran far away so that no one can find me"

Seo Yul sometimes wonders what exactly went through Yeongran's life where she had to always escape from such conditions and make herself find peace in such quiet places. He heard Master Park Jin saying that Yeongran had a hard time growing up because she was a young little girl forced to grow up and meet the expectations of the people.

He noticed that there were numerous scars that looked like from a sword and arrows which he could clearly tell that she didn't have a smooth childhood growing up.

They both sat down at the dry sand and Yeongran took out the shells she collected earlier from her pocket and placed it all on the ground. "The shells here are so pretty and unique. I hope this place will remain exclusive from the eyes of the people though it is meant to be discovered one day"

She started arranging the small shells and made a cute smiling face "<⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠>" that kind of looks like Park Danggu at a glance "I bet Danggu will love this cute art of him"

Yeongran just laughed and brush the little sands from her hand and focused her view on the scenery in front of her as she rest her head on his shoulder.

"Seo Yul, I am not a priestess who can tell the future or what is happening next but I am glad that I get to spend such time with you and I wish that we can be like this forever and ever. Cross every season together until we welcome the winter phase of our life and eventually give a farewell to it"

Seo Yul turned his head and placed a kiss on her forehead "Neither am I a perfect person or noble as the autumn but I will do my best for you Yeongran, I don't know what the future holds for us but if my future includes you ──── I am sure it will be the best life ever"

The two remained silent as their attention was focused on the beautiful sunset that was slowly setting down the horizon where the shadows painted the sea with it's pallette, mirroring the action while the sky was filled with the beautiful orange hues and the sea looked like a beautiful landscapes, painted by an artist.

The sound of the waves crashing on the stones around gave off a comfortable sound for the ear until soft flower petals suddenly fell from the sky.

Yeongran stood up and stretched out her hand to catch one of the petals. A soft pink petal made it's way to her palm and she brought it closer to her and took a sniff noticing that it is a rose before looking up to see various colours of rose petals falling.

"It's like a flower shower ──── ?? "

Yeongran was excited to see the flowers and turned around to Seo Yul but he was on his knees as he held a beautiful flower bouquet that were filled with dazzling red roses. Her eyes then shifted towards the corner where various figures appeared.

"Jang Uk? Lady Jin? Master Park? Old Master Lee?"

All the friends of Seo Yul were there and even Master Lee, Master Park Jin, Kim Do-joo. Jin Choyeon seems to be holding some flower petals and every time she throws a flower petal up in the air, there were beautiful showers of petals.

"What's going on?"

Seo Yul just smiled and he looked extra dazzling and handsome under the beautiful sunset.

"Shin Yeongran, life hasn't treat both of us right and we've made several mistakes in life and especially myself. I've hurt you a lot in the past and I didn't even realise how much of a jerk I was to you but your persistence and perseverance led me here. You've gave me everything even when I was not there for me, you gave me your constant support and love without fail. I want to make up everything for it until I breathe my last, I wish that I can spend every season of life with you. I wish to cherish you with all my heart and soul. We've got the title as a husband and wife but still, I feel like I have to renew my vows to you"

Everyone chuckled at the last sentence even Yeongran who was controlling her tears but a smile was on her face "Will you marry me?"

"Yes, I will"

The two didn't hesitate to pull each other for a tight hug while the others cheered loudly. Especially Master Park Jin who've seen the girl growing up and her life being a mess, getting into an unrequited love at such a young age but now? She was getting the happiness she deserved.

Danggu ran up to his friend and handed the ring which Seo Yul skillfully slid in the beautiful gold ring on her fourth finger where the ' wedding ' ring was there. The ring which they wore to represent their meaningless wedding back in the past

"I think it's time to remove the ring and adorn yourself with this ring. I've made them by myself"

Yeongran smiled as she accepted the beautiful bouquet of rose and looked at the gold ring. She felt contended with everything that happened to her.

"Like I said before Yul-ah, if it's you , I'll wait for you even if it takes two or three lifetime "

hello loves ! it's been so long since
i wrote any notes for you all but, finally,
here i am . i can finally announce that
this book is almost coming to an
end. there are only two or three chapters
left ( i'm still contemplating on how to
end the story and what type of chapters
shall i edit for it )

it has been a good journey to write this
book and it is one of my favourite characters
so far and i hope you all liked it <3
see you all soon in the last few chapters!!
