Agneta sat in a booth with Alaric and Damon, watching a young tanned woman walk up to the bar; Agneta scrunched up her face when she got a whiff of the woman's scent.
"Ah, Mason's mystery girl," Damon whispered.
"Anyone wanna catch me up?" Agneta asked.
"Mason was Katherine's boy-thing until I killed him, because he wouldn't hand over the moonstone. Now this woman is hunting him down, thinking he's alive," Damon said.
"Where is Mason, anyway?" Alaric asked.
"Decomposing in his truck," Damon smiled.
"Charming," Agneta mumbled.
"Do you think she's a werewolf?" Alaric asked.
"Yes, and also she wouldn't be here looking for Mason or his nephew; if she wasn't," Agneta shrugged, not mentioning the odor.
"We shouldn't jump to conclusions, so let's test it," Damon smirked, pulling out a bag full of familiar herbs.
"What is that?" Alaric asked.
"Wolfsbane, it's like vervain but for werewolves," Agneta shrugged.
Damon and Alaric figured out a plan, on how they were going get the wolfsbane in the girl's systems.... Alaric would go and try to work his charm, while Damon and Agneta would join him later; and of course Agneta thought it was a stupid plan... but needed to see this through.
Alaric sat down at the bar next to the young woman, pretending to be drunk.
"Hello beautiful," Alaric slurred. "C-Can I have a scotch and whatever this beautiful goddess is drinking?"
Agneta scoffed which caused Damon to shush her... insulted, she roughly punched him in the arm.
"Oh no, one's my limit... thank you," The woman declined nicely.
"Oh come on, it's not like I'm so weird freak. I'm just being friendly to someone who's new to town," Alaric explained.
"Okay, if you insist," The woman said. "How do you know I'm new?"
"Because I've never seen you here before, and I'm here every night," Alaric laughed lightly.
After watching Alaric fail miserably, Damon and Agneta joined them. Damon sat between the woman and Alaric while Agneta sat on the other side of Alaric, both ordering some drinks.
"Excuse me, is this man bothering you?" Damon asked.
"I'm not bothering anyone," Alaric said, trying his best to sound innocent.
"That's good, sure as hell don't want to be bothered by him," Agneta mumbled.
"Perfect, go do your 'not' bothering elsewhere," Damon replied, beckoning Alaric to leave.
Alaric pretended to be pissed off while Agneta ordered another drink, trying to mind her own business.
"Don't worry he's harmless. You know, he's sort of the town drunk.... and when he bothers us; we just put him in a cab and send him home," Damon smiled, grabbing the young woman's attention.
While he was talking off her ear, Alaric mixed the wolfsbane in her drink... Agneta rolled her eyes, knowing how this was going to turn out.
"Fucking idiots," She mumbled under her breath.
"Please don't talk about me like I'm not here," Alaric said, sliding the drink back over to the young woman.
"Aren't you a bit young to be drinking?" The woman asked Agneta.
"I get that a lot," Agneta said, watching as the young woman stared down at her drink; uncomfortable by the boys.
"W-why are you still here?" Damon asked, glaring at Alaric.
"T-Thank you for the drink," The woman replied, picking up her drink before setting it back down.
Agneta frowned at the drink, knowing the woman could smell the wolfsbane; which is why she's stalling.
"If I remember correctly there's a B&B down the road, and then there's a motel just outside of town; but if you asked be I'd stay at the B&B, they have really good breakfast," Agneta said, sipping her drink.
"I'm actually here for the night, looking for a friend; thank you though," The woman replied.
"O-Oh, may I ask who?" Agneta asked.
"Mason Lockwood?" The woman questioned, hope filled her voice.
"Last I saw of him was a few days ago, said something about going back to Florida," Agneta mumbled.
"He never showed up, which is why I'm here," The woman sighed.
"Well the town is small, maybe you'll find him or some answers on where he went," Agneta said, trying her best to give the werewolf a reassuring smile.
"I've looked everywhere, he's missing," The woman remarked.
"You know, listen! I'm really close with the sheriff; if there's anything I can do to help locate Mason, I will. He's a good guy, and after his brother's funeral; he stuck around and helped his nephew," Damon spoke up.
"T-Tyler?" The woman asked.
"Yes, Mason was with him the whole time, helped him with all that grief," Damon remarked.
Agneta titled her head to the side and watched as the woman looked lost in her own world.... it almost made her feel bad for the woman.
"You hardly touched your drink,"Agneta mumbled.
"I-you know, I'm not much of a drinker and it's getting late; I should leave," The woman said.
"Just one drink," Damon pleaded.
"Okay, it'll help me sleep; I guess," The woman said, giving in.
"TO SLEEP!" Agneta cheered, throwing her drink back.
Damon and Agneta watched as the woman brought her drink to her lips, before roughly slamming it down; snapping her head in Damon's direction..... Agneta was now on high alert.
"You fool, you think you're clever... don't you?" The woman hissed.
"What do you want with Mason Lockwood?" Damon asked.
"He's my friend," The woman snapped.
"Sorry love, but you won't find him here," Agneta mumbled.
"And why is that?" The woman asked.
"You should leave town, now," Damon ordered, avoiding her question.
"Are you threatening me? On a full moon, you two must be idiots," The woman said.
"Well it's a good thing I'm over 1,000 years old," Agneta smirked, glaring at the werewolf. "You couldn't kill me if you tried,"
The young woman tensed up and looked back over at Damon, standing to her feet.
"You've been marked," She growled.
Agneta decided to walk down into the tomb, missing the company of her best friend; she was miserable by being left alone with his brother. When she reached where they were at she was surprised to see Elijah there, standing straight up as if he owned the world.
"Elijah? What are you doing here?" She asked, but turned her head seeing Katerina shaking in fear and pure confusion was written all over Stefan.
"Elijah.... Agneta," Katerina mumbled, surprised to see them both standing together.
"Good evening, Katerina," Elijah said, picking a hair off his sleeve. " Thank you for having the good sense to be frightened,"
Stefan moved his eyes over to Agneta, who mouthed 'I'll explain later'.
"And you, your release has been requested," Elijah smiled lightly.
"By wh-shit," Agneta mumbled.
"By who?" Stefan asked.
"Elena Gilbert," Elijah said.
"Why doesn't this surprise me," Agneta replied, rolling her eyes.
"Please, come out," Elijah ordered Stefan.
"I-I can't," Stefan stated.
"Yes you can, the spell has been lifted," Elijah smirked.
Agneta moved her eyes over to Katerina, seeing shock written all over her face.... Agneta couldn't help but smile, knowing her revenge was coming soon enough. As Stefan slowly creeped out, afraid of what might happen to him; once he knew nothing was going to happen, he straightened up and moved over toward Agneta. However Katerina tried to seize her moment and escaped, but Agneta was to fast.
"Now, now.... what should we do with you?" She asked, holding Katerina by the throat.
"Darling sister, why not leave her here for Klaus to find?" Elijah questioned.
Agneta scoffed, ignoring her older brother.
"Foolish child. If you think this is my revenge, it's not; it's just the beginning. Have fun hating yourself for your stupid mistakes... and how they are the reason your here," Agneta said, glaring Katerina.
Katerina grew more scared, she was now marked by the most ruthless Original; but she didn't fear Agneta as much as she did Klaus. Agneta pulled Katerina close to her and forced her to look her in the eyes.... compelling her to stand still.
"Okay, Elijah.... I've done my threatening, it's your turn," Agneta replied, before quickly disappearing.
