"Do you really think Isobel's telling the truth about the rumors of the doppelgängers existence?" Elena questioned, sitting comfortably on a beanbag chair that rested in the game room of the boardinghouse.

"Honestly? Yes," Agneta signed, pouring herself a glass of bourbon.

"Look, I don't trust a word she says; but I do think we'd be stupid to ignore the warning signs here," Stefan remarked.

"You know, I think you should just stay here. It's better for us to keep an eye on you," Damon spoke up.

"What? Are you out of your mind? What makes you think a house where all vampires can enter is safe for her? Her house is much safer, if we're being honest," Agneta argued.

"Then we'll stay there," Damon replied.

Agneta scoffed with disbelief.

"So, is that the plan? Neither of you will let me out of your sight, again?" Elena questioned.

"No, that's stupid. Just let the girl live her normal life, I know Klaus better than he knows himself..... believe me when I say, I'll know when he shows his face," Agneta said, tossing her drink back.

"I agree with Neta," Elena replied.

Damon clapped his hands together, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Yay, Neta! You can be her third bodyguard," Damon cheered sarcastically.

"Excuse me?" Agneta asked.

"Fine, one of you three will be my plus one to the Lockwood luncheon," Elena said, deciding to end the conversation.

"Not me," Agneta mumbled.

"I can't, I have a quick date with Andy then I have witchy stuff with Bonnie," Damon said, looking over at Agneta.... seeing if he could make her jealous.

"That'd be me!" Stefan smiled, grabbing Elena's hand and helped her up.

"Damon, I think I'll join you on the witchy stuff later.... if you don't mind?" Agneta asked. "The luncheon doesn't seem like fun."

"Is this the spot where they killed Emily Bennett too?" Jeremy asked.

Agneta rolled her eyes and huffed under her breath.... not particularly enjoying walking through a field she's been to already. She knew where the sacrifice was taking place, but she would have to be out of her mind to tell Damon any of this information.

"The founders thought it'd be poetic.... burning her where all the other witches burned," Damon replied.

Damon's response caused Agneta to laugh.

"How do you know where the witches were buried?" Bonnie asked.

Agneta quirked an eyebrow at Damon, also wanting to know the answer.

"Cause I tried to save her. Emily was just my key to getting my revenge on Katherine, for all the pain she caused me.... and being the reason I lost you," Damon replied, looking at Agneta.

The four of them continued to walk until they came up on the abandoned witch house. The house, or rather the shack.... was barely holding on, the white paint chipping away; and the roof almost looked like it would collapse any given second. The vines climbed up the walls and the dirt adorned the once perfect white walls. Needless to say, one wouldn't think this place would be extremely haunted by witches..... which impressed Agneta a bit.

"You sure about this being the right place?" Jeremy asked.

"This is definitely the place," Agneta huffed, feeling the spirits all around her.

"How do you know?" Damon questioned.

"Because I've been around for awhile," Agneta mumbled.

Damon scowled at Agneta.

"That doesn't make any sense," He said.

"That's because you're an idiot," Agneta laughed, quickly trudging up the hill towards the house.... ahead of the other three.

Damon slowly followed behind, but not before staring at Agneta's butt.....causing him to smirk a little.

"How about you really tell me how you know about this place," Damon replied, catching up to Agneta.

"I'm known as the deadliest Mikaelson for a reason, I could kill you right now and never have a second thought..... so please, back off," Agneta mumbled, rolling her eyes.

This only peeked Damon's interest more.

"Please, give me a hint," Damon begged.

Agneta stopped walking and turned to face Damon.... she glared up at him, her chocolate brown eyes meeting his ocean blue one.

"Bugger off," Agneta mumbled.

"Why? Is it because of your brothers? I can assure you I won't tell a soul," Damon groaned.

"Over my 1,000 years of living, I have learned that I shouldn't quite trust someone just because they 'assure me'," Agneta replied.

"Fine, you have my word," Damon smiled.

"Damon, those words are absolute nonsense. Give it up and bugger off Damon, or so help me," Agneta growled.

Damon hovered over her, amusement filled his eyes. "How could you possibly do that? Aren't you like madly in love with me or something?"

Within a blink of an eye, Agneta grabbed Damon by the throat and lifted him above her, as if he was lighter than a feather.

"That ship sailed along time ago, Darling. Stop talking or I will make sure your death comes soon.... and you may never end up with the girl. But then again, you aren't Stefan; because it'll always be him," Agneta smirked, watching Damon struggle for a few more seconds before dropping him. "Damon, I need you to know..... you were one of my many flings, I had over the millennium. I never cared about you, why would I? Katerina didn't, your father didn't, and if you think for a minute Elena would care; then you should think twice. Damon, the only reason I haven't killed you yet, is because I wanna see the look on Elijah's face and even Klaus's when I tell them, you broke my heart...... I want to see them tear you apart,"

Agneta turned on her heels and walked up to the broken down house..... with Damon on her tail, he knew full and well that she's just trying to scare him away; but it isn't working.....Damon knew what they had was something special and he wasn't going to let that go.....not yet.

The four of them walked around gingerly, searching each room for some type of clues.... until Damon got trapped in one of the rooms, grabbing everyone else's attention.

"Whatever witchy prank this is, it's not funny," Damon chuckled with annoyance.

"I'm not doing anything," Bonnie said.

"Well I can't move," Damon sneered, panic quickly filling his voice.

"It's not her. There's about 100 dead witches in this room right now and clearly you've done something to them," Agneta remarked, looking around the room.... feeling the energy.

"I haven't done anything," Damon mumbled, grabbing his head.

"Interesting, because I can move and you can't," Agneta laughed.

Damon goes to open his mouth but stops himself, realizing Agneta was right.....suddenly Damon's skin began to sizzle, causing him to scream out in pain. Agneta bit her lip to keep herself from laughing.

"Oh, my ring isn't working," Damon said, glancing at Bonnie. "Please, do something,"

"Don't, this is extremely amusing," Bonnie sighed, closing her eyes....ducking her head a bit.

Suddenly Damon was let go from the force, which caused Agneta to grumble with disappointment.

"Why aren't you burning?" Damon asked, pushing Agneta into the sun.

"I don't know, maybe it's because they know you're a cheater," Agneta snapped, placing her hands on her hips.

Before too long she felt a sudden sting on the back of her neck, which caused her to gasp loudly.

"Oí!" Agneta exclaimed, rubbing her neck.

"What'd they do?" Damon asked, hopefulness filled his voice.

"Nothing as bad as yours, just a sharp sting...is all," Agneta mumbled.

Damon glared at Agneta, secretly jealous of her luck.... Damon was smart though, and knew there was something else that was protecting Agneta; and he also knew Agneta knew of this such information.

"I don't think the witches like you being here," Bonnie said, glaring at Damon.

"Guess this is the right place," Jeremy replied.

Agneta laughed at Jeremy's response.

"I'm gonna wait outside," Damon remarked, quickly disappearing.

"Neta, you should leave too.... just in case something happens," Bonnie replied.

Agneta wanted to open her mouth and protest, but the glare Bonnie was giving made Agneta roll her eyes and join Damon outside.

"Oh for the love of god, why are you out here?" Damon grumbled under his breath.

"Bonnie wanted me to babysit you," Agneta replied, taking a seat right next to Damon.

Damon eyed the older vampire, confused as to how a few moments ago she hated his guts, and now she was sitting down next to him, chatting up a storm..... as if nothing ever happened, as if things were back to normal.

"You're weird," Damon whispered, rolling his eyes.

"Really, how so?" Agneta questioned.

Damon sensed the teasing in her voice.

"First, you threatened to kill me or have your brothers do it.... and now you're peacefully sitting down, talking to me," Damon said.

"I suppose, but what you said back there wasn't your place.... I had a right at being mad," Agneta laughed.

"And threatening me?" Damon asked.

"I had a right to do that too," Agneta replied.

Damon frowned and looked at Agneta, as she stared off into space..... a mischievous glimmer in her eyes as always.

"Did I really break your heart?" Damon asked.

Agneta frowned, and blinked a few times as if she was now hearing him.

"That's quite an odd thing to say," Agneta mumbled under her breath.

"Well, you just so happen to be a very odd person," Damon replied.

Agneta's lip twitched a little.... indicating she wanted to smile but decided not too.

"I think you did, but then that would mean I was in love with you," Agneta whispered.

"You think?" Damon asked.

"I don't really know. I mean, it was very strong emotions I felt when I saw you kissing Katerina..... much more than I've ever felt before. I even cried, which is quite rare for me; So, yes Damon.... I think you did break my heart and I do think I was in love with you at a time," Agneta said, furrowing her eyebrows, as if she was just now processing all of this for the first time.

Damon observed her for a moment and felt sudden hurt that she hadn't thought about this or him much..... he looked at Agneta, but didn't detect a sign of heartbreak across her beautiful face. He only saw her eyes, that glimmer with mischievous; and her face looked voided of emotion as she stared out in front of her.

"I'm sorry," Damon mumbled suddenly.

Agneta whipped her head around to face him, her eyebrows slightly raised.

"You're what?" She questioned, slightly confused. "I don't think i heard you."

"I'm sorry, alright," Damon replied, hiding his embarrassed smile.

Agneta smiled at him, not really noticing the close proximity between them. Damon did however, and he continued to deeply stare into her eyes.

"Damon," Agneta whispered warningly, with a slight confused look swept her face.

Damon ignored Agneta, and leaned in to close the gap.... and surprisingly Agneta didn't stop him as she too was leaning forward. The two kissed and Agneta immediately melted into the kiss..... feeling her broken heart slowly mend back together.
