Elena sighed a bit but looked over at Damon, who had his attention on a very uneasy Agneta.
"How did you convince her to do this?" Elena asked.
"We didn't, it was actually her idea," Damon replied.
Agneta and Elena exchanged a look.... both knowing this wasn't good.
"T-This isn't good at all, why didn't you call me and fill me in on the plan?" Agneta asked, swallowing hard.
"No, it's not and are you okay?" Damon asked, concerned about her.
"I-I'm fine," Agneta mumbled, placing a hand over her mouth; smelling Dr. Martin's blood upstairs.
Damon quickly pulled Agneta into his chest.
"Elena, tell Stefan that me and Agneta stepped out to catch a bite," Damon replied softly.
Elena nodded, and in a blink of eye; Damon and Agneta were gone.
"Y-You don't need to do this," Agneta said, walking beside Damon.
"Yes, I do," Damon replied.
Agneta stopped dead in her tracks, which caused Damon to stop as well.
"I don't know if it's because I haven't fed in awhile or it's because this small town is making me soft... but you need to know something, I'm sorry for acting so cold towards you since I came back," Agneta sighed.
"Well then I should probably confess something as well..... you know, due to not feeding in awhile," Damon smirked, looking at a very flustered Agneta. "I don't hate you for breaking my arm, I could never hate you."
They both continued to walk for sometime, until Damon grabbed Agneta's hand; moving her behind him.
"U-uh, what are you doing?" Agneta asked.
"Leading the way," Damon replied.
Damon guided Agneta onto the road that was a few miles away from town, he motioned for her to stand on the double yellow lines that rested on the middle of the road.
"Okay, now for my favorite part," Damon said, laying on the ground.
"You expect me to lay on the ground and play dead like I'm bloody roadkill?" Agneta asked.
"No, just lay down and stare up at the sky with me," Damon replied, rolling his eyes; patting the spot next to him.
Agneta sat down beside him, and looked up at the sky.... a small smile appeared on her face as she remembered how her and Damon use to do this, laying under the night sky and just talk.
"Why are you smiling?" Damon asked, studying her body language.
"I just remembered how we use to do this when you were human, and for a second it felt like the good old times," Agneta replied.
Before Damon could say anything else, he heard a car; making its way towards them.
"Alright, lay down," Damon ordered, quickly laying back on the cold road.
Agneta nodded and laid back, also hearing the car.
"And now.... my favorite part," Damon mumbled, playing dead.
As the car got closer, Agneta's heart started pounding against her chest.... and her mouth began to water at the thought of feeding.
"Damon," Agneta whispered.
"Just a few seconds," Damon said, gently grabbing Agneta's hand.
The car turned around the corner, the driver quickly slammed on their breaks; seeing Damon and Agneta lying down...... putting the car in park, the driver stepped out of their car revealing a young man.
"Are you guys alright?" The man called out.
Agneta gulped loudly.
Damon sat up and turned towards the man.
"My girlfriend here passed out about a few miles ago and I carried her for as long as I could.... until I myself collapse from exhaustion, mind giving us a ride?" Damon asked.
The man was hesitant, until he saw the condition Agneta was in; in which he politely agreed.
"Of course, GPS said there's a town a few miles down the road," The man said, walking towards Agneta, he kneeled down.... hovering over her. "What's her name?"
"Mackenzie," Damon mumbled, using her middle name instead.
"Mackenzie, we're gonna get you someplace safe," The man said.
Both men helped Agneta to the car, and just as Damon was about to open the passenger door..... Agneta lunged on the man, immediately sinking her teeth into his neck. He struggled for a moment but as she drained him more, the more she could feel her strength coming back. After a few minutes, she could feel the man's heart slow beat.... which told her if she didn't stop, he'd die. Agneta pulled away, throwing her head back and moaned with satisfaction.
Damon grabbed the man and gave him some blood, instantly compelled him to forget ever seeing them..... they both watched as the confused man drove away.
"You feel better?" Damon asked, looking back down at Agneta.
Agneta turned towards Damon, and smiled at him.
"Yes, thank you," She said, wiping away the blood from her lips.
Agneta rushed over to the Gilbert's house after getting a distraught call from Elena about her biological mother returning. She stood on the porch and frantically knocked on the door until it was eventually opened, by a worried Elena.
"Is everything okay?" Agneta asked.
"No, Jenna won't come out of her room; maybe you can talk to her?" Elena questioned.
"What exactly happened?" Agneta asked.
"Isobel introduced herself to Jenna," Elena mumbled.
Suddenly there was another knock on the door, Elena quickly opened it.... revealing a very uneasy Alaric.
"Is she up yet?" Alaric asked, looking around for Jenna.
"She won't come out of her room," Elena replied, slightly shaking her head in disappointment.
"What'd you tell her?" Alaric questioned, leaning against the staircase.
"N-Nothing, she won't talk to me," Elena mumbled.
Agneta sighed, while running her fingers through her unbrushed hair.... thinking of a solution. All of a sudden, they all heard light shuffling upstairs; causing them to look up.
"Good morning, Jenna," Agneta smiled lightly.
Jenna walked down the stairs, completely ignoring Agneta.
"I don't want you here, Ric. You need to leave," Jenna said, grabbing her keys.
"Okay, listen! I can't begin to imagine what you must be feeling right now," Alaric replied softly.
"Rage and betrayal would pretty much cover it!" Jenna snapped, before turning towards Agneta. "Did you know about the whole Isobel thing?"
Agneta hesitated for a moment....
"Before you blow up anymore, darling. You need to know we did not mean for this to happen, and when the time is right.... Alaric here, will explain everything," Agneta replied.
Jenna shook her head in disbelief before heading towards the front door.
"Jenna, where are you going?" Elena asked.
"I'm going to be staying on campus, I have to write a thesis and I don't really wanna be around any of you," Jenna snapped.
"J-Jenna, please.... just let us explain everything to you," Alaric begged.
Jenna held her hand up, signaling she wanted it quiet..... she quickly turned towards Elena and sighed.
"Elena, I need you to go to the Lockwood's today and accept the Historical Society check for your mom's foundation," Jenna said.
"Okay, but-" Elena goes to say but was cut off by Jenna.
"I don't have it in me to hear anymore lies from you," Jenna mumbled, her voice slightly breaking..... quickly rushing out of the house.
"Oh, this is very bad. Between Isobel and Jenna, and now Matt..... this is a disaster," Elena replied, pacing back in forth in her room.
Agneta laid out on Elena's bed, pouting; until the mention of Matt caught her attention. "What about Matt?" She asked, quickly sitting up.
"Caroline told him that she's a vampire," Stefan answered, appearing in Elena's room.
"Oh, that's very bad," Agneta mumbled.
Suddenly John walked into Elena's room, asking politely if she'd come downstairs to talk.... Elena scoffed with annoyance, wanting nothing to do with him or her biological mother.
"I'm not going downstairs," Elena said, standing her ground.
"Please, Elena. Agneta and Stefan are more than welcome to join you," John replied, pleading with the young woman.
"Fine," Elena mumbled.
The four walked downstairs and into the kitchen.... seeing an older woman, who looked similar to Elena.
"You invited her in?!" Elena exclaimed.
"I asked John for a do-over," The woman said, taking a few steps toward Elena.
Stefan swiftly moved Elena behind him.
"So, you must be Isobel," Agneta replied, tilting her head.
"And you are?" Isobel questioned, trying to stand tall..... not knowing who Agneta was.
Agneta took a step forward, and smiled.... causing Isobel to grow nervous.
"I'm Agneta Mackenzie Mikaelson. I'd say it's a pleasure but my mother taught me not to lie," Agneta said, glaring at Isobel.
"You're Agneta Mikaelson?" Isobel gasped, the fear shook her voice.
"You want proof? I haven't gotten a birth certificate on me but I do have my brother's rotting corpse..... elsewhere but I can undagger him and he'll be more then happy to explain who I am," Agneta replied.
Isobel turned towards Elena and shook her head disappointingly.
"You don't trust me but you trust an original vampire.... whose brother is trying to kill you?" Isobel asked.
Elena crossed her arms over her chest, and harshly glared at Isobel. "I trust Agneta with my life, and I don't trust you and I will never trust you."
"She has information on Klaus, please listen to her, Elena," John begged, quickly piping in on the conversation.
Elena looked up at Stefan, waiting for his approval.
"W-What do you know?" Stefan asked, after a long pause.
Isobel looked at Agneta.... watching her every move, waiting to see if she was going to stop her from releasing information on her brother.
"Do go ahead, darling. My bond with Klaus died along time ago, and I may be dangerous in your eyes but I can keep a secret," Agneta said, now sitting down at the kitchen table.
Isobel sucked in her breath, before also taking a seat at the kitchen table.... sitting directly across from Agneta.
"Last I was here, I've been doing everything possible to find Klaus, we knew our best chances were to find him before he found you," Isobel replied.
"Chances at what, exactly?" Stefan asked, sitting down next to Agneta.
"Keeping Elena alive," John answered, taking a seat next to Isobel.
Agneta scoffed loudly, causing everyone to look over at her. "Look, Elena will die. Between the Salvatore brawl or this sacrifice, she will die. It's only a matter of time, and once that happens.... there's no stopping the sacrifice. Elena isn't as dumb as Katerina was and Klaus knows that,"
John opened his mouth to say something but Elena cut him off.... just in time.
"Don't you dare open your mouth, John," Elena snapped. "Not after everything you've done,"
"And were you able to find him? Klaus?" Stefan asked.
"Well no. Nobody knows where he's at, but there are rumors floating around about the doppelgänger existence," Isobel remarked, looking over at Elena. "Which means any vampire, who wants to get into Klaus's good graces.... will be lining up to capture you."
Agneta and Stefan exchanged a look before turning to look at Elena, waiting on her response.
"I'm not buying any of this," Elena mumbled, throwing her hands up in disbelief. "The last time you were here, you made it pretty damn clear you didn't give a shit about me. Now all of a sudden I'm supposed to believe you?" Elena asked.
"Isobel's been helping along," John declared, trying to make a point. "Klaus has been obsessed with finding Katherine for centuries. All it would take was for one of the tomb vampires to spread the word that Katherine is still alive, and it would bring him straight here.... where you would be discovered, so we killed them all,"
Agneta raised her eyebrows to this piece of information.... not fully believing him.
"And almost killed Stefan and Damon in the process," Elena argued.
"Can you blame me?" John asked quietly.
Elena rolled her eyes and looked away from John.
"I have a safe house, I can take you to. The deed is in your name, no vampires can get in without your permission.... not even me," Isobel said.
Agneta kicked her chair out from under her, and slammed her fist on the table. "No! Elena isn't going anywhere with you-I don't trust you,"
Isobel rolled her eyes and ignored the older vampire.... giving her attention to Elena.
"Let me help you, please," Isobel begged.
Elena continued to stare at Isobel in disbelief, before slowly standing up out of her chair..... she closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.
"You wanna help? Then get the hell out of my house," Elena ordered calmly.
Her biological parents looked at her with utter shock.
"Oí, you heard the doppelgänger! Get lost!" Agneta laughed.
