Imagine a cloud shedding it's tears and imagine it's heart screaming like a lightning sound. Imagine the wind as a powerful anger and imagine the tornadoes as a hatred it shares. 

Now imagine creating a monster because we couldn't fathom to give our attention to a weeping child. After all a human and a cloud is not so different when emotions run wild.

Like for an example you Ignore the pain  it become a sadness, you ignore the sadness and it evolves to hatred and that my dear becomes a dangerous weapon. As emotions can create the worst of us.
