BREATHE WITH THE SEA
𖦹 INTERLUDE FIVE; BREATHE WITH THE SEA
foam and murmuring waves caress my starved body like the sweet winds of a summer honeymoon, sea salts embedding into my cuts and bruises with a delicious stinging. love hurts you in the sweetest ways, doesn't it? i shudder with the aching heartbeat of the ocean, hearing its deafening pleas to be ruined with rapture. there is so much feeling in these stained glass seas, so much suffering and sin that washes through your sunburnt skin and shivers through your bones- it numbs you, simply. the weight of a thousand lifetimes drags down your heavy limbs, and you've been seduced by the tides, laying to rest on a bed of white sand and shredded seashells. butterfly breaths escape from your throat as the water wades in and out between the breaks in your body, and suddenly forever is as ephemeral as the life of a flower. we mortals orbit around desire like how the moon beckons the waves, and perhaps we too can live without thinking. we can breathe with the sea, the beach winds unfurling us.
