It's Christmas eve

And people were busy preparing for the day we all have been waiting for
It's the day of the year when we all act a little nicer, we smile a little easier, we cheer a little more.
Giving gifts, giving love, but that's just are the tip of the iceberg and things aren't the same as before.

A house that was once a joyous
One single pride made it all lose its purpose

Nonsense fights surround the four walls that called home
I just wanna walk around on the seafoam

Hoping these rivulets to waterfalls to wash away
I'm lonely like a castaway

"Someone special"
I received it at three a.m
A pit of butterflies I can't stomach
Was I being delusional?

An early gift full of twists and turns
A numbing heart slowly burns
The heartbreak that I can't escape
A sinking ship I'll never save

Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting
And all I get is bleeding

I'm trying to hold on
Finding a coupon
And maybe I could reset, nothing at all

Peer over the edge
Farewell Christmassy paradise
Up over a ledge

Snuggle close in the darkness
I hope I won't turn into a heartless
