i gave up on this piece. i wanted to add a lot more, but i'm sick of working on it lmao. it's been two days. granted, one of them was to find a model. seriously, there needs to be a bigger variety of ethnicities in stock photos.

this piece was inspired by maya from the star touched queen, hence the title.

prompt three: fish

i have never spent more time cutting out things than i did on these fish. it took a solid two hours. granted, i was kinda distracted.

anyways, this scene is inspired by zoophobia, which is a webcomic. this was one of my favourite scenes from the comic, so i decided to make it for the fish prompt.

*cries in wattpad ruining the quality of all graphics* it was bad enough bc i gave up on this piece, and it just got worse. yes, there was a lot more that i wanted to do with this as well. T-T

this was inspired by the song "wait for me" from hadestown. my friend finally made me listen to hadestown, and i fell in love with it, so i decided to make something from it. it also helped that i found a stock where they guy has the exact costume of orpheus.

prompt five: animal

ahaha i totally didn't just give up on lighting and shove a bunch of trees to cover up my mistakes. totally not. also, do i care that this is a panther and not a jaguar? no. i do not. no one knows the difference unless you really like cats.

this is inspired by the road to eldorado which is such an underrated movie. just appreciate the fact that it's colourful, actually has an okay sense of humour, and has a great villain. pLEASE. appreciate how iconic it is. thank you.

did i give up on lighting once again? yes. yes, i did. appreciate my lack of giving a shit after restarting on a graphic ten times.

this was inspired by the throne of glass series. there was a scene where elide snuck down to hide with abraxos (the dragon. technically wyvern, but who cares) and i just really wanted to make it for some reason. also, i just love the ToG series a lot. :3
