As I reached the stop sign I saw a familiar face standing in front of the bright red stop sign. Long dark hair, light brown skin, and dark brown eyes. She took off her black-colored shades and I realized it was Ruby. She was wearing a black top with long sleeves and an orange plaid skirt. She was wearing bright red lipstick and a little bit of blush which was odd. Ruby rarely wears any kind of makeup because she doesn't need it. She walked up to me wearing new black high-heeled boots.

"Hey Alex, can we please talk."

We walked a bit further down the street until we reached a black sports car with gold rims. The sun shined on the car. The light was blinding as it bounced off the car. Ruby glanced over at me as she put her shades back on.

"What are u waiting for? Get in."

I hopped in the car and sat on the black leather passenger seat. Ruby got in on the driver's side and we drove off.

"So ruby where are we going?"

"To go have lunch I need to talk to you about something."

I looked out the window and sighed as I started to talk.

"Let me guess you either want to talk about Valentino, the wedding, or both.

"As always Alex, you're right, let me treat you to lunch before we talk."

We made our way to the restaurant that Ruby wanted to go to. On the way there I kept wondering how she got the car, although her parents are rich they don't give her expensive things randomly. Ruby usually buys them on her own or gets stuff for her birthday and no way she has enough money to get a new sports car. I quickly glanced around the car and I saw the answer that I needed. In the back seat of the car, there was a folder titled car payment details. It looks like one of the papers fell out and the co-signer was none other than Mr. Alvarez. Why did Ruby have to say yes to that marriage?

As I looked back up out the window I saw that Ruby was driving insanely close to the wall that protects the city. In the far right corner of my eye, I saw a crane at the top of the wall. Yeah, I have to say something, a while ago when the school was attacked by that Morpher, that could create giants, I messed up again. If you were wondering what happened to them they are not gone. My power allows me to only destroy the main entity and anything that happened as a result of it might be reverted to normal. But I can't reverse any damage it caused. When the giants attacked and Valentino saved me, I had to get rid of them but I didn't know where the main entity was so I did the next best thing, I froze everyone. I could only freeze people in my vicinity and only for a few minutes but that gave me more than enough time to try and fix things. I guess the main entity was able to escape so I took the giants and used them to fix some of the damage, covered the rest with cement, and put them in the wall.

When I unfroze everyone they all forgot about what happened which was weird but it was fine. The only thing I'm worried about is that the entity might come back because I didn't destroy it and haven't been on patrol in a while. If it ever comes back it could reanimate the giants. And these giants are nothing to joke about they are each 50 feet tall but again something weird about this entity is that it's only able to create giants out of the thing it touches, I guess. Oh, and I think they have to be alive because with the little I saw of the entity it looked like it was covered with floating vines and was able to move from giant to giant with the help of the vines but it never once touched anything that wasn't alive. Now that I think of it, I don't think its power is to create giants, I think it can manipulate nature or at least plant life because most of the giants looked like trees.

Maybe man-made objects injure it, all the entities that have attacked the city have a special weakness besides me. It differs from monster to monster. For example, a few months ago there was an entity able to create storms and electricity but if it ever touched the ground or any earth in general it would no longer be able to create any electricity or manipulate storms. Also, one of the more recent ones, the shadow entity, if any light touched it its powers became obsolete. While I was tracking it, the monster accidentally got caught in the light of a streetlamp it had to stop and jump back into the darkness. Anyway, I just don't feel safe near the wall.

As we passed more and more of the city and finally reached the restaurant. To my surprise, it wasn't a high-end luxurious restaurant like the ones we go to on special occasions. In reality, it was the first restaurant that Ruby's family opened it wasn't in Beverly Hills, it was actually in LA. and unlike the newer restaurants, this one is affordable. I remember when I was younger on special occasions my mom would take me to this restaurant. That's actually how Ruby and Valentino first met...
