"I should, I need to, so I can keep the people I love safe."

I made my decision. To kill these stupid weeds, before they kill me.

I slowly lifted my mask and a flash of magenta filled the empty restroom. Once the flash faded I was already in my suit, jacket, and boots with my bow in hand. To be honest, I love doing that.

"Okay, time to go. Shit almost forgot."

I went to the mirror in the restroom and looked into it. I lifted my left hand and passed it over my face, slowly removing the face I made and revealing my mask. Once my mask was fully visible in my reflection the mirror shattered into a million pieces.

"Uggg I hate that crack in my mask but it was the only way to somewhat look normal."

My bandages began to come to life moving around. One of them expanded and grabbed my bag and another took my arrows. I quickly put my gear on and it was time to set off. My badges slowly started to wrap around my entire body and put me in an invisible state.

"Well I didn't plan to be a gardener but it's time to kill some weeds."

I ran out of the restroom and headed to where the tree monster was embedded in the wall.

"Ah shit"

It was slowly breaking the wall. The initial hole is getting bigger and almost half of the giant is visible. How the hell is it even alive, now that I have a better view of it the thing is almost dead. Most of it has turned to stone and the rest is slowly rotting. There is only one way this thing could still be alive. It's close by.

Earlier I pointed out that something was controlling these glorified bonsai trees. The giants are controlled by an entity that controls plant life. It can create these creatures to do its bidding and goes from giant to giant with help of vines. I believe that it is not able to touch anything that is not natural or something that is man-made. That's why it's constantly wrapped in vines and why it does not touch the ground. I have named this monster Evergreen, this is a new thing I'm doing, and it's pretty fun.

"Oh shit"

*The tree giant breaks through most of the wall*

Too much reminiscing, that thing is almost out. Okay, time to get serious.

"READY, AIM, FIRE!!!!"

I shot three arrows, each one laced with a special power. The first arrow can freeze whatever it touches, it's the same trick I use to "stop time". The second arrow is a telekinetic bomb. This will disrupt any commands it gets from its master, it is also able to stun someone but because this thing doesn't have a brain it won't work. Lastly, my strongest arrow, the most powerful thing in my arsenal against this thing, won't end up doing more harm to the city than that monster. My secret weapon is a super-boosted, industrial-sized weed killer. I didn't have much time, this was my best idea and I got a really good deal on the lavender-scented kind.

*The arrows hit the tree giant one at a time*

The first two arrows did their jobs without problems, but when the third arrow hit.

*The giant broke free of its frozen state and went into a rage, pulling out the third arrow from its arm and breaking free from the wall in its rampage. A green acid-like liquid can be seen pouring out of its wound*

"Well shit."

Why didn't that work? I hit all three arrows in a perfect spot. I looked down at my bag and noticed the chemical I doused the last arrow in. It was a lavender-scented bug killer, how did I not notice that? I just pissed the damn thing off and I don't have time to go to the store again.

Well, desperate times call for desperate measures. My bandages unwrapped my body making me visible again. They went in all directions grabbing items and I lifted my bow with an arrow in hand. I prepared my aim.

"Over here u glorified weed!!!"

I let go and the arrow when flying, hitting the giant in what I assume was its torso. At the same moment, my bandages released whatever they had collected and it all went flying at the creature.

Once I got its attention it slowly turned around. Its eyes glowed with a soul-stealing light. How am I going to get myself out of this one?
