A few days passed and Heather was in the nurse wolves den and she was helping a sick pup who had caught lemon fever. She sighed when he rejected the food she offered him and called in his parents who were outside to see if he would eat for them. She sighed happily when the pup finally ate but she suddenly felt sick herself and she rushed out the nursing area only to throw up her breakfast. The head nurse wolf who was also an elder saw this and told a different nurse wolf to go and fetch Jason, who at the time was on patrol of the territory. The nurse wolf found Jason after an hour of searching and told him what is going on with Heather, and Jason hurried back to the camp leaving the nurse wolf behind. Heather caught Jason's scent in the breeze and she sighed "great now I have to tell him..."
