The leader looked at them and nodded walking to the center of the camp and they followed nervously. The leader called out "I want the whole pack to know that from this day forward these two wolves are mates!" Heather looked at him seeing he wasn't all to pleased at this new arrangement of theirs. Jason looked around at the pack then holds her hand tighter as her father walks over "how dare you! how dare you mate with him!!". Heather hid behind Jason she was very afraid of her father "you were suppose to mate with the leaders son!! we had an agreement on this!" Jason growled at him "don't you dare yell at her!". Heather looked at them and sighs "enough both of you... dad I am with Jason now I have always loved him, I never loved the leaders son". The leader growled at this but his son, Anthony, cut him off "dad I love someone else but she is still in the same family as them" The whole pack was shocked at this and they looked at him as he held his new mate's hand which was Heather's cousin Amber. Amber blushed and smiled at him then looked at Heather and Jason before Anthony took her back to their den. The pack was speechless but the leader was angry and stormed back into his den and the pack went about their way. Jason smiled and walked Heather back to their den "Jason how did you get in my den in the first place" He laughed "I found the spare key" she chuckled "oh yeah" I have to find a new place for that key she thought to herself.
