The leader wrenched away from Jason's grip and growled "This isn't over! Rouges retreat!" Two wolves helped the leader out of the camp and Jason growled "No Cameron its far from over" Heather watched her mate then ran over to him and hugged him tightly. Jason looked around at the wounded pack as they started asking if he would be leader. Heather had her head against his chest and looked up at him as she heard his rumbling voice "Right now that's not important. I need all nurse wolves to assist in caring for the wounded. Those who are not wounded start making repairs". Heather looked around at the confused pack then moved away from Jason to help care for the wounded. Jason watched her as she looked back at him and smiled the anger subsided at her sweet smile that always seem to melt all his anger and frustrations. He walked over and hugged her from behind "why do you smile?". Heather thought for a moment "because no one was killed and I get to go back home. Back to you". She smiled again.
