Fifteen
Akuppi-Adad and Isabela led Langiva through Kraza, back through the forest of which they came, and to the abandoned tower.
"Do we really have to take her with us?" Isabela groaned to Akuppi-Adad about Langiva, who straggled behind the two.
Akuppi-Adad exhaled. "Yes. We do."
Isabela pulled a face.
"Look," Akuppi-Adad began to explain to her. "You made a deal… a deal with a vampire… turn her and you get the information on Axiothea's whereabouts. But, alas, this is Ferrantino we're talking about." Akuppi-Adad put extra emphasis on Ferrantino's name.
Isabela raised a raven colored eyebrow. "So?"
"Ferrantino isn't just going to believe our word if we say you turned her," Akuppi-Adad explained. "He'll want to see physical proof."
Isabela huffed.
"Plus," Akuppi-Adad began to continue. "She's a vampire fledging… She needs to fully be converted… and she can't do that without-"
Isabela finished for him, "Human blood."
"Exactly," said Akuppi-Adad.
Langiva pushed forward, coming between the two. "What are we conversing about?" She draped an arm around both Akuppi-Adad and Isabela—-she was very much visibly shorter than the two.
Isabela and Akuppi-Adad pushed away from her, both grumbling.
"Fine," Langiva started. "Be that way…" She kicked a rock which casted itself to the slide, nearly making Isabela trip.
Isabela turned to face Langiva and hissed, "Watch where you're kicking those!"
Langiva then giggled.
Isabela groaned. "What now?"
Langiva shrugged, a grin still upon her face. "Nothing… it's just that this is the most you've talked to me in the past hour."
Isabela groaned once again before rolling her gold eyes and looking back at the path ahead of the three.
Langiva's gaze fell upon the old tower. She leaned closer in Akuppi-Adad's direction, asking him, "Is this where we're going?"
Akuppi-Adad nodded. "Yes."
Langiva swallowed before letting a mischievous grin crystalize upon her face. She vaulted past Akuppi-Adad and Isabela, making both of them stumble.
Isabela hit the ground with an 'oof' noise. She stumbled to het feet once again.
"Last one into the castle is a giant clotpole!" Langiva called out to them as she dashed for the tower.
Isabela and Akuppi-Adad exchanged glances before darting after Langiva.

As the three made their way through dark, dimly lit corridors of the tower, Langiva couldn't stop touching every item she saw.
"Don't touch that!" Isabela hissed, yanking Langiva's hand away from a sharp rod that could've cut a deep gash in her hand.
Langiva nervously giggled. "Oops."
Isabela whispered to Akuppi-Adad, "Now, I know how you must've felt."
"Not really," Akuppi-Adad began to inform her, shrugging. "You were a lot less inquisitive than her."
Finally, the three made their way to a bar like area that Ferrantino resided in, speaking to other vampires and winking at some of the men.
"Ferrantino!" Isabela called out to him. "I got Lady Mac Cú Uladh!"
Ferrantino turned around and looked at them. “I didn’t think you had the guts to turn this girl into a vampire,” he remarked to Isabela.
Isabela rolled her eyes at this. "Well, I did."
Akuppi-Adad looked Ferrantino right in the eyes. “What do you mean by that?”
Ferrantino laughed. “I mean that she is arrogant and self-centered!” A pause ensued before he said, "Like I have said, I have had run-ins with her before."
Langiva then mumbled under her breath, “How do we know you aren’t so stupid?"
“Well?” Isabela raised an eyebrow.
“Well, what?” Ferrantino asked her.
“I turned dollop-head over here into a vampire,” Isabela began to motion to Langiva. “I held up my end of the bargain… You need to hold up yours."
"I-" Ferrantino began; Isabela didn't let him finish.
"Take me to Axiothea," Isabela demanded.
“Okay. Fine." Ferrantino exhaled. "I’ll take you to Axiothea." He began to lead Isabela out of the bar, while Langiva tried to follow.
