Between NEVERLAND's debut and OVERTHROW, there has been a constant flow of new faces for MIDNIGHT boy group stans. However, there seems to be a shining light in the darkness for the company's girl group stans as well.

With the vast amount of Christmas covers coming out of the company the past couple of days (EQUINOX's HYESANG, MIDNIGHT TRAINEES, etc.) it was no surprise when one more was released on MIDNIGHT's company channel.

However, the description states "GUNO INTRODUCING: NABI" making us wonder if she's a member of an upcoming group getting introduced to the public. The only information known about the girl is that her full name is KWON MINYEO.

Little else is known about the suspected group, not even the number of members-MIDNIGHT has yet to address the rumors. Perhaps this theme of "introducing" will continue? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

MIDNIGHT'S NEW GG DROPS PREDEBUT TRACK... BLINDFOLDED

After NABI's introduction, MIDNIGHT fans held their breath as they waited for the company to confirm their suspicions. Yesterday, MIDNIGHT finally dropped the following image on their instagram with the caption "IRENIC: any color for harmony"

The reflection in the glass appeared to show five girls, allowing fans to finally conclude that the new girl group IRENIC will have five members, unless the hand holding the mirror is a sixth.

The argument over the image didn't last long though, because twelve hours later MIDNIGHT dropped the following MV on their youtube.

The MV is-quite literally-driving fans crazy. They claim that MIDNIGHT has truly outdone themselves this time, artfully hiding the girl's faces throughout the MV in order to keep their identities a secret. The only voice fans were able to recognize was NABI's, thanks to her earlier reveal.

It seems that the second IRENIC member is here! MIDNIGHT dropped yet another reveal on their youtube, writing in the description "CELINE INTRODUCING: JIJI"

It seems the MIDNIGHT is done wasting time, dropping yet another IRENIC introduction video this morning. This time, it was an EQUINOX main vocal in charge of revealing her junior, with the description stating "SONG INTRODUCING: MALI"

MALI appears to be a rapper, and many love the synergy she has with SONG in the video. Netizens have been praisng her English pronunciation, also concluding that she's Thai based on her name.

While at first it simply seems to be a (very cute) collection of memories from the girls, fans quickly picked up on the odd collection of music clips playing in the background and the "coming soon" at the end. They came to the conclusion that this was a spoiler highlight medley for an upcoming comeback.

A couple of hours later, MIDNIGHT confirmed the suspicions, announcing IRENIC's comeback on the 26th of APRIL.

IRENIC IS GEARING UP FOR A FULL ALBUM!

Although we can't say it's been half a year of radio silence (because the girls HAVE been keeping us updated through social media) it HAS been over half a year since IRENIC's released any new music.

Finally, the queens are coming back, and with a full album too!

On SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18TH, MIDNIGHT ENTERTAINMENT announced IRENIC's final installment of the 'N series: GOIN'. This full album will come in two versions with ten tracks and one album-exclusive song for each version (twelve total songs).

The IRENIC girls have been teasing this comeback since mid-May, and after months of delays, it's finally entered its final stages of preparation. The girls have promised time and time again that the album will be well worth the wait, and other MIDNIGHT artists have confirmed the fact.

Just last week, EQUINOX's KANO updated her INSTAGRAM with pictures of her alongside ELLA and MIHEE, captioning the post: "these girls can really dance!" giving us much to look forward to this time around.

Despite NABI MCing on INKIGAYO, JIJI's various modeling jobs, MALI's endless updates on her travels and all the people she's meeting, and ELLA and MIHEE's choreography clips, we've missed seeing these girls perform on stage as five. Here's to a successful comeback ladies!

IRENIC MAKES AN UNEXPECTED
ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THEIR LINEUP!

With the incredible success of PSYCHO, gathering an astounding nine wins, we were prepared for the IRENIC girls to wind down their promotions and take a deep breath to celebrate their success.

What we weren't prepared for was a mysterious post on MIDNIGHT ENT's official instagram stating: "RENditions: CLOSED."

Stan twitter was a mess for the next 24 hours until MIDNIGHT posted an official announcement which clarified what's going on.

Apparently, we have another explanation for IRENIC's long hiatus from MAY to DECEMBER of last year: MIDNIGHT was running a closed, invite-only audition, looking to add members to IRENIC. IRENIC members themselves participated in the selection of the final members, that have now (most likely) been decided upon.

This came as a huge shock to IKIGAI, but most are excited to celebrate the new year with new members. There are still many questions left unanswered for now, but we're intrigued to see what comes next for these amazing girls.

Perhaps PSYCHO was the last comeback with our original lineup of NABI, JIJI, MALI, ELLA, and MIHEE, but we're sure that these girls will step up to the plate and continue to deliver quality music.

IRENIC GEARS UP TO INTRODUCE NEW MEMBERS!

IRENIC has announced that they will be coming back with not one, but two new singles to introduce their two new members. The two singles will be released two weeks apart, and each will be promoted for two weeks.

Although we've now learned a little bit about the new members through MIDNIGHT's public group profiles, we've yet to see them in action. JINGYI is the group's new lead dancer, vocalist, and visual, while IRA is a lead rapper and sub-vocalist; we hope to get a taste of their skills soon! Further, MIHEE's position in the group has changed as she passes her lead rapper position off to IRA and adopts lead vocalist instead; we're excited to hear more of MIHEE's vocals!

Insiders have claimed that each of IRENIC's singles will showcase just one of the new members. This means that we won't be getting a song with the full seven-member lineup until IRENIC's next comeback. We'll eagerly await it! The members themselves have said on vlive that they've put a lot of work into these two songs, and ask us to give them lots of love!
