final versions of the song, he imagined many
scenes that could be taken for the music video,
all of which he discussed with the director when
filming. Many ideas made it to the final cut, such
as JAEHYUNG dancing alone in a tiled room, the
perspective of the stairs, the hands on the window,
looking into a broken mirror shard, and the
smudged lipstick, all scenes which JAEHYUNG
thought displayed the descent into love and
lust in different but meaningful ways

demo for STRINGS, he knew it had to be part
of his solo debut. It's the right amount of sensual

› 〉FUN FACT ,, JAEHYUNG recruited the help of
his close friend SUNGMIN of ANARCHY to
choreograph this song. Dancing with the water
in the music video was SUNGMIN's suggestion
after watching PRISM's comeback stage of MOVIE
STAR dancing in the rain. Additionally with tips
given from KYU whom was visiting the set and
had experiences dancing on water for a
previous MV, the water shots achieved the desired
effect of magnifying the already sultry dance
moves.

metaphors and imagery, the songwriting process
was actually very smooth for JD and JAEHYUNG.
JAEHYUNG told JD what he was envisioning and
what he wanted to communicate in the song and
JD easily delivered. They build upon a rough
draft together and JAEHYUNG revealed
that they stayed up until 6am one night writing
the song to perfection.
