The ANARCHY RETREAT stands in the heart of a secluded woods somewhere in Seoul. A 10 minutes drive away from the city, it offers the residence privacy, peace, and quiet. Its Scandinavian-themed interior design allows one in the room to feel at ease with its muted color tone. With approximately 1,200 square feet, it is ideal for large families as it provides three spacious bathrooms, each with its private bathrooms. With windows on all sides of the villa, it offers thermal comfort for those who reside in the ANARCHY RETREAT with its adequate air ventilation and a whiff of nature with its natural surroundings.

On a late April chilly morning, the greenery surrounding ANARCHY RETREAT is moist from the recent wee hour of rain. With dews either suspended in the air or ricochetting from leaf to leaf before falling into neverending rippling puddles.

A black van carrying our guest stars - the boys of ANARCHY - finally arrives, the youngest members' (excluding JINYOUNG) playful chanting echoing within the car walls, disturbing the slumbers of the older members. As soon as the van doors open, the peaceful atmosphere of the ANARCHY RETREATS was as good as gone with MILO and the maknae line making a quick exit from the van as they chased one another around in the open field that laid outside the villa. "Wow! This place is... magnificent!" exclaimed NOHYUN, who makes a quick scan of the building with awe and admiration dancing in his eyes.

The older members, the more sensible boys of the bunch, immediately make their way to the back of the van to unload the trunk of everyone's backpacks. Carrying four bags on his back, JUN sighs as he watched JINYOUNG tackles REIJI onto the dewy grass as he walks to the front door. Pushing the door, he soon realizes the door was locked. "SUNGMIN-ssi, get the key."

Running over, SUNGMIN slots the key in the keyhole, only for him to soon discover the key would not go in. Confusion arises as the older members desperately try the key on the door, but there was no way the key would fit. "Did the driver send us to the wrong villa?" YEJUN voices his doubts before turning around to see the black van reversing and driving into the trees, away from the villa.

"There are cameras around in this location, though.", JINYOUNG points out to YEJUN. They were definitely at the right villa, just no way into it. After minutes of struggling and scanning the surroundings, NOHYUN makes a discovery: a fenced-off backyard with its gate locked and secured by a single padlock. Working their three brain cells together, JUN inserts the key into the padlock, and to no surprise, it fits. With a twist, a click is heard, and the padlock is off.

Behind the fence, the production team waited for them whilst they hid behind the cameras, and a gigantic tent laid flat in the middle of the backyard with an envelope next to it. Picking the envelope up, SUNGMIN reads the content of the note written inside it.

"Dear ANARCHY,

Welcome to the ANARCHY RETREAT! You have just passed a significant milestone in your idol journey, and we could not be any more proud of you. Here at the ANARCHY RETREAT, we hope that you will be able to make the most out of this healing trip and grow not just closer with your group mates but also as a better idol.

And do check your rooms for your mission card. Make sure to keep your mission a secret from the others!

A staff member then passes SUNGMIN seven envelopes, each with each member's respective mission. "What's this? It said we have to check our rooms.", SUNGMIN asked as he received the seven envelopes.

"The production team will be sleeping in the villa. You guys will be sharing the dorm.", the staff member revealed, much to the shock and disappointment of the boys, and everyone (but JINYOUNG) started to complain and whine about the unfair arrangement.

"What if we play a game to decide who sleeps in the villa?" NOHYUN comes up with an alternative, much to the anxiety of the staff members.

"Rock, paper, scissors!" a staff member exclaimed out spontaneously at JINYOUNG, catching everyone by surprise. Without any time to react, JINYOUNG instinctively plays his move without the luxury of being able to think through his move...

JINYOUNG played the rock, crushing the staff's scissors into smithereens, and the boys rejoiced as the other staff members shot the loser a glare. Snatching over the keys from the despaired losers, SUNGMIN sarcastically thanked the staff team for the accommodation before unlocking the backdoor to the villa.

Inside the villa, the boys all ran around, scanning each room to pick out rooms for themselves. The boys quickly settled into the villa and were quick to sort out the room arrangement: JUN and REIJI would take the master bedroom, SUNGMIN, YEJUN, and NOHYUN taking the room with the most direct sunlight access, and JINYOUNG and MILO taking the gloomy room next adjacent to the living area. Tired from all the traveling, the boys take a nap in their respective rooms.

Fast forward half a day later, the boys gather back on the dining table, having just finished eating their home-cooked pasta. The whole time in the villa, the boys have yet to be briefed about the trip, and now, it was time for the rules to be explained to them.

"You guys were given a mission envelope earlier on. You may open it and read it now.", the staff member announces.

Opening their envelope, the boys each silently read the contents of their letter, revealing their respective SECRET FRIEND identities.

Each boy's SECRET FRIEND's identity is to be kept secret from everyone else but himself, and they are tasked with different missions regarding their secret friend that they will need to complete before the end of the trip. If another member catches on and figures out who is their SECRET FRIEND and mission, they will be allowed to expose the other party and thus eliminate them from the game should they be spot on.

When I first read the mission, I thought to myself... "Wah, this is... too easy?" Is it even meant to be a challenge?

The word "gift" struck something in the boys, and all of them started to get excited.

"Yah, I don't know who has me as his SECRET FRIEND... but I am craving for snacks.", NOHYUN playfully hints at his group mates.

"I want a PS5.", JINYOUNG proclaims, inviting eye rolls from everyone else (but SUNGMIN and MILO).

"Wait... we have no money. How will we buy gifts or materials to make them?" SUNGMIN questions as soon as the realization dawned on him.

A tablet then slides onto the dining table, prompting them to play the video clip.

"No, wait, this is unfair.", YEJUN grumbles as the other members groan in annoyance and frustration. This arrangement by the CEO meant that the boys would be solely relying on the staff for money, and they absolutely detested the idea of having to patronize the staff team for money. A fork in his hand, JINYOUNG points it at a staff member, silently threatening him to hand over the money in exchange for his life despite the lack of intimidation.

"Okay, how about this? Since we will be visiting street markets tomorrow, we will be quizzing you guys on ten general knowledge questions. And for every question you get correct, we will give you ₩15,000 (USD 13).", a staff member suggests. Not having much of a choice, the boys begrudgingly agrees to the condition, thus taking on the game.

QUESTION #O1. WHAT IS THE CAPITAL OF CANADA?

"Osak-" MILO begins to mumble before JINYOUNG clamps his mouth shut. "Ottawa!" SUNGMIN exclaims as he stands up from his seat, securing their first ₩15,000 as the staff members pass them the money as promised.

"Ah... this might be really easy after all.", YEJUN chuckles as he leans back against the chair, hands at the back of his head.

"We are smarter than you think!" MILO cheerfully exclaims out, taunting the staff team members. JINYOUNG shoots MILO with his infamous death glare as he wipes the saliva off his hand.

QUESTION #O2. EACH MEMBER MUST LIST SEVEN TRACKS FROM EQUINOX'S BORDERLINE ALBUM.

"I CAN'T STOP ME," MILO answers first.

"HELL IN HEAVEN." JINYOUNG goes next.

"BLOOM," JUN answers.

"AYAYAYA!" SUNGMIN exclaims excitedly.

"Oh crap. I don't- LA VIE EN ROSE!" NOHYUN exclaims out after a short struggle.

"I- I CAN'T STOP ME ENGLISH VERSION." REIJI stammers, leaving YEJUN to nervously chuckle as his answer was just stolen.

"Guys, please help me.", YEJUN pleads while SUNGMIN, JUN, and JINYOUNG glare at him, slightly offended as the staff members start to count down from five.

"QUEEN.," JUN (not so) discreetly whispers to YEJUN for his assistance, to which the latter answers at the very last second, and the staff team slides another ₩15,000 to the boys.

"We're using the winning money to buy YEJUN a BORDERLINE album.", SUNGMIN jokes as he slides the money into his pouch.

QUESTION #O3. WHAT WAS NEVERLAND DEBUT TITLE TRACK?

"FANFARE.," JINYOUNG answers.

QUESTION #O4. WHEN DID OVERTHROW'S FIRST EPISODE AIR?

"November 26, 2020.", JINYOUNG answers again.

"Wait. JINYOUNG can't answer any more questions." a staff member complains, "He's answering too many questions."

"Why?" SUNGMIN disapprovingly asks the staff member as YEJUN counts their winnings. "Are you guys scared of losing?"

"Because we said so. We are in charge of your money. JINYOUNG is not allowed to answer.", the staff member insists stubbornly, much to the frustration of the other members.

QUESTION #O6. HOW OLD IS PD-KANG SIHYUK?

"HOW SHOULD WE KNOW?" NOHYUN exclaims out loud while REIJI holds him back into his chair. YEJUN and JUN both rack their brains over, trying to figure out his age.

"You guys have 30 seconds.", the staff member announces.

"He looks 50", JUN says nonchalantly, a 30-ish-year-old PD-Kang Sihyuk to laugh in an attempt to mask his bruised ego.

"32 years old.", JINYOUNG not so discreetly whispers to his team, and the boys all cohesively shout out "32!" which proves to be correct.

"How did you know his age?" REIJI asks, still in doubt of the answer they have just given. "He spilled me his life story when I was watching the television just now..." JINYOUNG explains as the PD in question gets on all fours on the floor, feeling betrayed that his newfound friend had just extorted him for information.

"But technically, JINYOUNG answered the question, so your answer for this question is invalid.", the staff member agues and JINYOUNG stands up from his seat and rolls his sleeves up. "Are you discriminating against me for being JINYOUNG?" he jokingly taunts the staff members.

"O-okay. How about we give you ₩7,500 instead." the staff member offers, feeling slightly anxious. Sighing, SUNGMIN agrees to the deal. "But JINYOUNG must stay quiet for the remaining rounds."

QUESTION #O6. MILO, NAME THREE COUNTRIES THAT START WITH THE LETTER A.

"Australia, Austria and Airan." MILO answers, much to the disappointment of everyone else.

"MILO-HYUNG.," NOHYUN cries out as he abuses his own head, unable to believe what he just heard.

QUESTION #O7. WHAT WAS JINYOUNG'S FIRST SPOKEN WORD ON NATIONAL TELEVISION?

"Wait a minute, how is this general knowledge?" YEJUN yells in confusion.

"Has he even spoken on national television?" REIJI asks as he anxiously bites his fingertip, not knowing the right answer to the question.

"I don't even remember what I said on the first episode of OVERTHROW..." JINYOUNG mumbles.

"JINYOUNG spoke. You all lose this round."

"WHAT THE (REDACTED)," SUNGMIN yells.

QUESTION #O8. WHAT IS THE NAME OF NEVERLAND'S PET FERRET?

"Sleepy?" REIJI answers with uncertainty which proves to be correct.

QUESTION #O9. WHAT IS EQUINOX KANO'S REPRESENTATIVE COLOUR?

"MINT!!!" SUNGMIN exclaims at the top of his lungs, his answer echoing around the walls in the villa.

QUESTION #1O. WHAT PERCENTAGE IS PD-KANG HYUNSIK'S PHONE AT?

Chaos broke out in the room, as every ANARCHY showed their visible frustration at the difficulty of the question with NOHYUN about to flip the table in rage while JINYOUNG shakes his head silently in disapproval at the staff members for their underhanded tactic. Showing the PD's phone screen to the camera but keeping it hidden from the boys, the viewers can see that the phone battery is 63%.

"How would we know?" JUN yells out in frustration.

"This question is impossible!" REIJI complains.

With 5 seconds left remaining, JINYOUNG blurts out "62%". A second after JINYOUNG answered the question, the producer's phone battery percentage dropped to 62, much to the disbelief of everyone in the room. JINYOUNG immediately yeets himself off his seat, unable to believe he actually got the percentage right by sheer luck.

"Wait, but JINYOUNG answered the question..." the staff member points out.

"Let's give it to them. He had a 1-in-100 chance of winning, and he somehow clutched it", another staff member sighs as he admits their defeat. The boys cheer as they snag their winnings of ₩127500 (USD113) for tonight.

Agreeing that SUNGMIN will be in charge of the little money they have and will be the one to distribute accordingly, the boys all retreat back into their rooms, finally done with their uneventful day one at the ANARCHY RETREAT.

The following day would be when the vacation officially starts and the war between one another and the staff team begin. The end of today was just the beginning...
