HELLO!!! Welcome to MIDNIGHT's first ever brand new series, JAEDAE : PRANK LOGS!!

I'm PRISM's cutest JAEHYUNG and he's NEVERLAND's talented rapper, JD and we'll be the hosts and masterminds behind this mini series.

Somehow, we've managed to convince CEO-nim to let us do this with the condition that we will not prank him.

We'll get to that eventually. In this mini series, each episode will feature someone from MIDNIGHT as our prank victim.

And of course, we can't possibly pull off all the pranks all alone so each prank may or may not feature a third party who will be assisting us in the prank.

However, if the victim catches onto the prank and asks whether they're being pranked right now, we will have to suffer a forfeit chosen from the victim themselves!

Without further ado, let us welcome KYU from PRISM who will be assisting us in this prank!

(runs into frame) Hello!

Now tell us, who will we be pranking today?

This person... is someone I'm very close to. I have high hopes that this prank will work out as she's actually a very gullible person.

PRANK START !!

Our first victim starting off the series is none other than EQUINOX IROHA! This lucky dancer and vocalist is the girlfriend of our lucky KYU.

KYU-sunbaenim has arranged a "date" with her in this restaurant where the cameras have been set up.

The summer 4 p.m. sun blazes the restaurant set - where the prank would take place - with its merciless and sweltering glaze, scorching anything that's caught in it, including our two protagonists of this episode. Seeking shelter in the shade of the restaurant, the couple is greeted by their server. Right after being told their seat number, IROHA immediately bolted from KYU, dashing through the empty restaurant.

Reaching the seat (where the cameras are directed) before KYU, she teases him playfully as she settles down, "I win again! You owe me a cup of ice cream!"

"That's not fair! You can't just race off and tell me we're in a race without letting me prepare myself.", KYU playfully whines to IROHA as the waitress - who is in on the team in the prank - gives the hyperactive couple their menus as IROHA gives KYU the L.

Letting her hair down from a ponytail, IROHA slides one of the menus to her and begins to look it through. "Oooh! They have samgyeopsal here!", the girl cheers as her eyes light up in excitement. "Can we get that and we share since I'm told to go on a diet?" Being no stranger to the girl's high energy levels, KYU just nodded his head despairingly, not even trying to put up a fight for his own diet plans.

"Also, why are we speaking in Korean?"

No, but why does she act like a child? How are her energy levels so high?

Is this your first time getting to know her? I'll be asking our actress to come out now. (picks up microphone) HYEWON, you can come out now. You're going to walk to the seat and recognize KYU from high school and mention you guys used to date back then.

┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈ ┈

The actress, HYEWON, a girl emitting an elegant flair, caught the attention of our unsuspecting victim and, as she was told to, she walks up to the table where the couple is seated. She was quickly interrupted by IROHA before she could say her lines about to greet the young couple.

"I like your shoes! They look really elegant."

"Thank you.", the actress simply brushes off the compliment before diverting her attention back to KYU. "Oh my God! Hi, do you remember me?", she greets the boy, who just acts confused, unable to recognize her. "I'm HYEWON from high school!"

As if a lightbulb just stuck in his head, KYU immediately lit up and gets up for his seat the moment he recognizes her and tries to give her a handshake; only for the actress to hug him instead.

IROHA who is there to witness everything, facial expressions immediately morphs from an exciting look to just pure confusion as she silently sits at the side to watch them.

Back in their hidden room, the boys immediately start to crack up at the sight of a silent confused IROHA.

A SILENT IROHA-NOONA WITH STRANGERS? THE WORLD IS ENDING.

After a brief reunion with KYU, HYEWON finally acknowledges IROHA's presence. "Hey, I'm HYEWON. CHANGKYUN and I used to go to the same high school.", she introduces herself to IROHA as she reaches her hand out for a handshake.

IROHA (surprisingly) shakes her hand and introduces herself in a friendly tone. "Want to sit with us?", she offers the girl as she gets up to help her newfound potential bestie shift a chair from a nearby table to her table while KYU continues to have a quick catch-up with the actress and asks the waitress to give his ex-classmate a glass of water.

"So what brings you here?", KYU asks HYEWON.

"I'm eating an early dinner with my friend here but she's late. What about you two?"

"Same, we're having an early dinner together as well.", KYU answers as he takes a sip out of his own glass of water.

"Wow, lucky you. You get to have dinner with a hot male idol superstar. Even I don't get an opportunity like that even though we used to date back in high school."

IROHA darts KYU a glare whilst smiling when the second the phrase "used to date" escaped from the actress' lips while KYU nervously chuckles as he tries not to choke on his water.

Ooof... I just got goosebumps. I've never seen IROHA glare at anyone. CHANGKYUN is a dead man...

For context, CHANGKYUN was in only one relationship before IROHA but she's met the other person before so can you imagine how she confused she must be?

I'd like to clarify CHANGKYUN is a loyal honest man who doesn't lie to anyone. The actress here is just a set-up!

"You were in the group that sang BLUE FLAME right?", HYEWON asks eagerly.

KYU nods while IROHA sits at the side, smiling as she stays proud of her boyfriend and his success in the idol group. "Who's your favourite PRISM member?", she asks as she tries to get to know HYEWON.

"Hmmm... probably CHANGKYUN-ssi. I liked his abs in the music video. I really like his muscular physique as well.", HYEWON comments as she starts groping his biceps. IROHA then laughs, trying to mask her jealousy as she picks up her phone, silently excusing herself from the conversation.

"So CHANGKYUN, you're still single right?", HYEWON asks to which KYU mindlessly blurts out "yes" before panicking and correcting himself. IROHA starts to laugh uncomfortably with him, playfully teasing, "Yeah. He's still single. Go shoot your shot at him."

"She's my girlfriend.", KYU points at IROHA, revealing their relationship status to HYEWON.

"Oh! But you're not married right?"

"Not yet..."

"Not married so you're still single then!", HYEWON jokes. IROHA initially shocked by the statement, laughs along with the girl, rather amused by her. "Does that mean I have a chance?", HYEWON adds.

"Of course! Take him. It's free.", IROHA responds as a joke while KYU nervously laughs at the side.

"Fine then, let's arrange a date another day.", KYU jokingly teases the girls and IROHA rolls her eyes at him before looking back at her phone. Her face immediately changing to a stoic unamused expression as she does so.

I think the second KYU and IROHA leave the restaurant, KYU will probably be a dead man. She looks mad.

HYEWON-ssi, I want you to invite CHANGKYUN on a date.

IROHA continues to be on her phone while HYEWON and KYU had a catchup sesh with each other. Eventually, the food comes and IROHA helps to set the table up, passing KYU his utensils and passing KYU some of her meat before eating by herself as if there was a wall in between her and the duo.

"There's this place nearby that opened up. I ate there once and the view there was really mesmerising but it felt really empty eating there alone, do you want to come join me next time?", HYEWON asks as she goes through her phone. This catches the attention of IROHA, who looks to KYU for his answer.

Not knowing what to say, KYU glances nervously at IROHA in this awkward situation. "Just go. If it has a nice romance ambiance, take me there next time.", IROHA playfully suggests, which KYU reacts to with nervous chuckles as HYEWON claps enthusiastically.

"Perfect! Let's go there next week then.", HYEWON cheers as she gets up from the seat, preparing to leave. "Hey, I lost your contact number long ago, can I get your number so we can talk about our hangout next week?", passing her the phone to KYU which earns him yet another glare from IROHA but he relents and agrees to giving her his number to go along with the prank and mega his number in her phone.

"Are you guys living in the same apartment?"

"No. We live in our own dormitories with our group mates.", KYU answers.

"Oooh okay. So you can text me anytime then.", HYEWON flirtatious winks at the boy and blows him a kiss as she leaves, causing IROHA to cringe up almost immediately.

With HYEWON finally gone, IROHA leaves KYU in an awkward and tense situation as she questions, "How come you never told me about her" as she calmly slots a piece of meat into her mouth.

Let's go. We'll go tell her it's a prank. I think we've succeeded.

"...okay but if the restaurant she's going to take you to is nice, bring me- wait that's JONGDAE", IROHA suddenly pauses as she sees the two hosts walking towards her table with the camera crew around them. "What's going on?"

"You couldn't even care to invite us for a meal?", JONGDAE playfully teases. "Are you happy to see us?"

"No, I'm- why's there a camera-" Like Windows XP booting up, it takes more than a moment for IROHA to process everything. "Wait so that was a set-up?"

"You're on a prank show, idiot.", JAEHYUNG sighs. "At any point did you suspect that this was a prank?"

"When she told me she dated him in high school... I didn't really believe it at first.", IROHA explains, "Firstly, I don't think he would've lied to me about his past relationships. Secondly, she kept going on about how hot he looked in BLUE FLAME so I figured she must've liked those masculine and muscular of boys." IROHA then side-eye KYU, as she's about to expose him.

"Wait- no. Don't."

"Have you seen his high school photos?"

"Why? Was he nerdy-looking?", JONGDAE asks and IROHA snorts while KYU dies from embarrassment at the side.
