Possible New Story

So I decided not to make this book take a darker and longer route.

Why?

Because I have religiously been reading ABO stories and am intrigued to make one myself. Not that I am any good at it, but simply because I want to try, hahaha.

This was one of the reasons why I haven't had a new chapter of Midnight. I've been cheating on it with the possibility of this new story I had in my mind.

I won't put it up until Midnight passed 2/3 of its story, though. But this is an example of what I wrote.

The truck stopped at the end of the building and Porchay jumped to get out. "Chay, you need to unload the eggs first," his brother commanded and Chay nodded. He diligently brought the egg packages inside the huge storage building and stopped at each turn for a standard search by the men in suits.

Sometimes Chay forgot that this was actually a house, where actual people lived, by the size of it. It was built closer to a hotel than that of a house. The owner was dipping their feet in hotels and resort chains, yes. But they were so much more than that, according to Porsche.

All these men in suits they called bodyguards also meant they were ones not to be messed with. Porsche always lectured him not to be close with ANYONE that had ties with this family, The Theerapanyakuls. Porchay being an omega was another reason Porsche was reluctant to bring Chay to this building full of alphas.

They had this job, supplying food and beverages to Theerapanyakuls, for years. Ever since Porsche and Porchay's parents were still alive. They gave them the best fee for their service and silence. Nothing happened or did NOT happen in Theerapanyakuls' estate. Just get in and get out. You were deaf, blind, and mute when it came to them. Duck your head, and limit eye contact.

Porsche also had to report any potential new employee to them for a background check. That was why he was only comfortable bringing Jom and Tem to help out when they had to make deliveries here and rarely accepted employees that he hadn't personally known for years. Breaking their deal with The Theerapanyakuls meant going broke and he couldn't risk that.

"Chay, long time no see you, young man. How old are you now?" a voice that both sounded respectable and authoritative called for his name and he stopped and then snapped his head to meet the man automatically. A usual response for an omega, or anybody really, to a dominant alpha. The owner, looking handsome in a grey and red suit, smiled.

Khun Kinn, The King of this kingdom as his father had resigned and chosen to live in Europe, was as friendly as always with him, far from the frightening tales everybody and their mothers told. Chay responded with a smile too. "21, Khun."

"Oh, really? Have you graduated, Chay?" He nodded again. "Do you want to apply to our companies? Kim is looking for a new second secretary. You won't do much, just filing and stuff. How about it? I'll put in a good word if you do."

Chay looked at his brother who grew worried by the second. "Khun Kinn, you don't have to. Chay just graduated and wants to take a break first," Porsche spoke on behalf of Chay. Kinn looked at him with discrete squinted eyes. His lips ghostly smiled.

Porsche didn't know why he always came down to meet him every time he made a delivery this past year. He counted it was started not long after Kinn took the throne to this empire two years ago.

"You want to travel, Chay?" Kinn dismissed Porsche, but only took his eyes from him for seconds.

Chay was in a dilemma. He wasn't used to lying and he knew Kinn would easily find out. He coughed and replied with, "If I have enough money, Khun Kinn."

That handsome face broke into a wide smile. "Perfect. You can earn that in Kim's company. It is very well paid, anyone will be lucky to get in and according to the applications they've been getting, the queue is long. But fear not, this Phi of yours will make sure you get in."

Porsche tilted his head and gave Kinn an unamused stare. "It's not dangerous. Kim is dealing with Hotel Resort and entertainment stuff. I think it's the Hotel and Resort one that needs you." Kinn was staring back at Porsche while he said this, addressing it to Porchay, who looked confused.

He gave Chay his card, "This is my secretary's number," he points, "Give him your application with a note of your name and that I was the one who told you. I expect it by tomorrow, ok?"

Chay bowed and accepted the card, but once again looked at his Hia, looking for approval. Porsche secretly sighed before nodding.

"Thank you, Khun Kinn," Porsche said, there was an annoyed tone to it. Kinn was amused. People usually went through highs and lows to get the opportunity to work in Theerapanyuls companies. Well, at least the legal ones.

He tilted his head a little before nodding, an acceptance of the ungrateful thanks Porsche said. But it was nothing new. They've been having this dance for a while now, the back and forth, the pulling and tugging. Kinn hadn't gone to a full chase, but that was just time-related stuff. Because, on God, this creature of his was magnificent!

While Kinn's eyes roamed up and down his body, Porsche felt a shiver that he tried to fight. Goosebumps were created while he tried to maintain his calmness. It was a stupid move for an alpha like him to respond to a dominant alpha like Kinn and Porche was trying to be a clever one.

For his sake and Porchay's.

Porchay looked at the tall building before him and still awed struck that he worked here. It has been a month already. All happened in a blur.

He gave his application the next morning after Kinn gave him his card. His secretary responded almost immediately and set up his interview the next day, where he came, greeted with full respect due to Kinn's card he held, aced the interview, went through the data and security safety, shook hands with the recruiting team leader, went home, waited for a day and be told he was accepted and effectively working immediately.

Porsche didn't like it one bit but when Chay said it would be good for his experience and portfolio, he begrudgingly agreed.

So here he was, about to take the lift to the third highest floor of the 44 floors of this building. He thought The Theerapanyakuls were fond of irony as 4 in Chinese meant death. Well, they were dealing with death-related stuff all the time.

The door was about to close, but a hand prevented it. Chay automatically pressed the open button to allow whoever it was to get in.

A deep dark eyes met him when the door opened fully. Chay felt like his whole body was brushed by a feather. Something stirred on his lower stomach. This man is a dominant alpha like Khun Kinn. But different from Kinn, who had a deep but delicate scent of an expensive liquor he had yet to identify, this one had an earthy scent, but it was prickly to his nose. Like he was building walls surrounding him and he wanted to make sure no one was able to penetrate it.

This guy was to the lean side of body type, but he was screaming 'Dangerous, don't touch!'. He carried that dark aura with confidence. He looked at Chay dead on, tilting his chin in arrogance and trapping the omega in an invisible hold.

"Khun Kim, please," the man beside him gave a polite gesture for this man to enter. He didn't break the stare as he stepped forward. Only after he turned that the hold broke. Chay felt he was able to breathe again.

So this was Khun Kim.

He never met him before. Even when he made deliveries for years to the mansion or his whole month experience here, Kim was never in the range of his eyes.

"What floor?" a raspy voice that sent shivers emerged.

It took a while for Chay to register that Kim was asking him. "For... Forty-two."

"Hmmm..."

That was one deep sexy hum right there.

Chay wanted to slap himself. That was your boss, Porchay! And he was in the mafia! His whole family literally owned Thailand's underworld.

His conscious voice was so much like Porsche's.

The earthy scent got heavier for some reason and being trapped in this small box wasn't helpful. Chay shifted on his stand, not because he was uncomfortable, but because whatever it was in that scent made him on edge for something. The omega trait in him was dancing gleefully in the rain of the earthy scent. His body was leaning unconsciously toward Kim's. Chay had to grab the railing on the elevator to stop himself from moving forward.

The ding was heard and Chay internally sighed a relief. He was finally out of this ... situation.

Kim didn't look back as he moved forward and Chay thought that was probably best for him.

Please let me know what you think, guys. Thanks in advance.
