There was a reason Natasha Romanoff left the Red Room. A reason no one knows about beside two other people.

Natasha Romanoff left because she found out she was pregnant. Something she knew Madame B would love to destroy if she was a girl.

And Natasha would not let her daughter's future become her past.

So she got out.

And six months later Natasha had a beautiful little girl named Anastasia Elena Romanoff her bright light in nothing but darkness.

But Natasha knew if anyone found out her daughter would become HYDRA's most proud possession so the only ones who knew about her were Clint Barton the man who saved her, and Nick Fury the director of SHIELD.

For the next five years of her life, Anastasia was raised by her mom with her uncle Clint helping and Fury as her grandfather in basically everything but blood.

Usually, if Natasha couldn't find her daughter she was with Fury playing with his eyepatch as he told her stories of his past missions.

Or with Clint who loved to sneak her desserts and the two would hide in the vents eating them before Nat found the two.

But everything went downfall the eve of Anastasia's sixth birthday party. Hydra agents broke into Natasha's and Anastasia's house and kidnapped the girl while injuring Natasha.

And Natasha would never be able to forget her daughter's screams and pleas as she was taken.

Natasha Fury and Clint along with more than half of SHIELD spent the next six months trying to find the little girl. They never stopped trying to find her.

One day they did find her in a Hydra base in Russia half dead from experiments and torture.

And for the first time in a very long time, Natasha Romanoff broke down and sobbed as she held her daughter in her hands.

Ten years passed since that day Anastasia Romanoff now one of the top agents next to become director of SHIELD and always smiling at someone.

But beyond those eyes, she was still haunted by what happened in her childhood and what she experienced and Anastasia just tried to ignore it.

Now one thing Anastasia was not expecting was for her uncle to get kidnapped and aliens attacking New York.

But as Anastasia's life gets even more chaotic she will have to decide what side of life she chooses.

The side of the sinners.

Or the side of the saints.
