Athena Summers and Finnick Odair were once attached to the hip. The two were the best of friends. Where one went the other followed.

But then they were fourteen and Finnick was reaped into the 65th hunting games and then won their friendship changed suddenly.

Athena knew that Finnick would no longer be the same person but he stopped talking to her all together.

And they just became a memory.

A memory the two still cherished.

But the 69th hunger games completely changed that when Athena Summers's name was called.

And the two once best friends that have not talked in years and avoided each other met once again.

And this time Finnick had to do everything in his power to save the girl he gave up to protect.

For being a victor and having a weakness is dangerous.

And Athena Summers was Finnick Odair's biggest weakness but also his biggest strength.

So I am thinking this might be the story where the oc is Haymitch daughter. Her hair is dyed by the caption to keep her identity a secret from him! And she was given to someone in district four where she meet Finnick. 

She was put in the games as punishment due to Haymitch not following some rules and due to being Finnick's weakness.

Although neither really knows. Finnick has an idea but never said anything. And Haymitch believes she died when she was young.
