Spencer Reid has always been different you could say and for being that he was bullied.

Repeatedly.

And no one ever once stood up.

Not even when he was stripped naked and tied to a goalpost in front of other students by his most hated bully.

But that day might have been one of the worst but it was also one of the best.

As Spencer was tied to the goalpost sudd sky a small less than four feet girl walked up and kneed his bully in the balls before walking to Spencer untying him and then giving him her cardigan she had one along with a Reese's cup.

That day Cameron Hastings entered Spencer's life and everything changed. For the better.

The two became inseparable. Where one went the other followed.

The two even went to college together since Cameron has a photographic memory and was able to graduate early, especially with Spencer's help.

But while Spencer joined the BAU at 22 Cameron became a neuroscience professor, but the two still talked every week.

They had scheduled phone calls and made sure to update texts at least once a day.

The team knew everything about Cam Hastings, well almost everything. They didn't know Cam was a girl always thinking she was a boy by some of the things Spencer said, and he never corrected them. Not seeing the point and not wanting any of them (Morgan) to say anything.

But when five days go by and Reid hasn't heard from his best friend and her phone is disconnected he begins to panic and is about to file a missing person report.

He already called LA's police department asking them to check her apartment. She wasn't there and they said it looked like she left in a hurry.

And as Spencer was talking to Hotch about taking a leave of absence to go and see what happened when he heard a familiar voice saying an even more familiar nickname.

With a rush of relief, Spencer turned around only to freeze seeing the strongest person he knows looking like skin and bones along with a bruised cheek and a cut lip.

Ignoring everyone else in the room Spencer crossed the room and pulled Cameron into a hug before pulling back to ask what happened and where has she been.

Only for Cameron to tell him she had a stalker and whoever they are is trying to kill her.

There are a few secrets that Spencer does not know regarding Cameron's life. A reason to have a stalker.

But half that news the team comes together to help her and Cameron Hastings finds a family in a group of people she's only heard about over text and phone calls.

But with this new family comes more heartbreak, tears, trauma, near-death experiences, but let's not forget realizing feelings for someone she never thought she would feel anything for.
