Pessimism
The puncture of doubts enticed the smirking dark water,
into the robust, confident ship.
The courageous propellor faltered as the water licked the deck.
And weighed the proud bow down.
The hull of rationality swayed upright, clutching the merciful sky above, only to plummet into incoherence quicker than ever.
Gasping hope stayed afloat, swimming in the fatal water.
But for how long?
Under the taunting sky of despondency, how long could it survive?
Stung by the mockery of the devil around, yet stayed afloat.
Shackled by numbness, yet kept swimming,
into the rising sun,
to witness a humble boat of fisher folks.
For hope never dies.
For something will always tow it back to life.
