I continued to re-read the text until it clicked. If everyone gets the roles they want then that means...

Maria Reynolds = Me
Alexander Hamilton = Micheal

Say no to this....

I dropped the script on the floor in realisation. Peggy doubles for Maria. I'm such and idiot, I should of known this!

Everything started to make sense, like when Christine said Rich insisted I was Peggy. Christine never changes her mind easily, Rich must of told her that I would also play Maria. Thats why he was smirking to! He must of told Micheal to tell me to be Peggy!

I can't get out of it now since I promised Micheal, and the auditions were first thing tomorrow. I doubted if I should tell Micheal or not and decided against it. Micheal might pull out of doing Alexander if he knew he'd have to do it with me.

"Urgh!" I say in frustration, I grabbed my pillow and screamed multiple cruse words into it but the pillow muffled out my words. I didn't know what to do so I kinda just sat there for a minute or two panicking.

Eventually my mind cleared and I thought about what to do.
I'm calling Rich.
I quickly jumped up off my bed and grabbed my laptop before bringing it back to my bed.

I first texted him to see if he would answer and he said he would. Eventually he opened the call in the middle of fixing his hair, he had no shirt on but that didn't bother me.
"RICHYOUMOTHERFUCKERIKNEWYOUWEREUPTOSOMETHING" I yelled really fast, instead of being scared like I intended he laughed.

"So you found out?" He said still laughing, I nodded yes and he smiled
"Your welcome, you could totally do Maria but I knew you'd never have the confidence to sign up" He smiled and paused before saying "So I did it for you" I groaned and face palmed
"Richhhhh,"
"Hey you can't turn back now, oh and don't worry I just texted Micheal letting him know" I quickly looked back up at him
"You what?!" I said, my voice cracking
"Well Micheal should know right? Don't worry though I just said 'Y/n just found out that Peggy doubles as Maria Reynolds'" I pulled out the script and look at it again.

"Now, let just pray that No one gets Alexander expect Micheal and you get Maria!" Rich said smiling "So you practice! And bye" He hung up before I could respond so I closed my laptop.
"Well, OK then" I took a deep breath and started off with Peggy, it was simple. Then came Maria, I really love her notes but I can't rap my head around what I'm going to have to do if I get the role.

Time skip~

I woke up early because I was nervous and couldn't sleep in anymore. I then decided I could use the spare time to do a quick make up look.

Once I was done I went down stairs to get breakfast.
"Oh you look nice, whys that?" I dramatically grabbed my heart and gasped
"Can't I just put a little effort in my look?" Mum stopped what she was doing in the kitchen to raise and eyebrow at me. "Fine, there's Auditions for the play today"
"Oh thats amazing honey!" I finished eating and smiled "Thanks I'll see you later" I said grabbing my bag and heading out the door.

Micheal's POV

I was leaning against y/n's locker nervously waiting for her to get here. After I got the text last night from Rich I was nervous to talk to her.
Does she think I told her to be Peggy because I knew she'd be Maria?! I didn't!

I must of been to caught up in thought to notice her coming up in front of me.
"-to Micheal, earth to Micheal!" I snapped out of it and looked at her
"Heh," I scratched the back of my neck "sorry y/n, daydreaming, did you say something?" I looked at her and blushed. She laughed and said
"thanks for waiting for me," she starting walking and I followed

"So are you nervous?" I asked, none of us decided to bring up the elephant in the room.
"Yeah. Extremely." she said and nervously laughed, I smiled
"Don't be your probably going to be amazing" I looked at her and she looked back at me before quickly turning her head away.
"T-thanks"

We had reached the doors and I opened them letting y/n through first. As we walked in I noticed there was a decent amount of people.
"Y/n! Micheal! Over here" I looked over to see Rich waving his hand so we went and sat with him. Everyone else was already there to.
Y/n sat in between Rich and Christine while I sat on the other side of Rich and next to Jeremy.

Your POV

I was sweating like crazy and wanted to vomit, I was so nervous. I sat next to Christine for confidence and Rich because he has that brotherly feel.
"Hey if everything goes to plan and I get Eliza, I'm just letting you know I'm not hitting on Micheal." I giggled and nodded, blushing a little
"Thats fine I know, plus it but like we're dating or anything" she just raised her eyebrows as if silently saying 'really.'

I was about to argue but was cut off by the Audience lights turned off but the stages like turned on. Like when a movie is about to start in the cinema.
"Hello everyone!" said Mr Dave as he walked on stage. I couldn't help but notice he looked much happier than when he had to watch us in detention. I mean I couldn't blame him.
I didn't really listen to what he was saying I just let my mind wander, like I do when I'm nervous.

Hehe, Mr Dave looked like Thomas Jefferson. He's even got the Afro and everything! I wonder who's playing Thomas.... I think Connor said he was going for it. Imagine Connor with his hair poofed up! My thought were cut short by Mr Dave asking for a volunteer to go first.

Of course Christine puts her hand up but Mr Dave looks around, probably seeing if and one else wants to.
"O! Oh!" Christine was now standing on her chair "Here! Please!" Mr Dave sighed and looked at Christine
"Alright, up you come"
"Yessssss" she sprinted up stage not bothering to use the stairs just getting up in the middle of the stage.

"Hi I'm Christin Caligula, and I'm going for Elizabeth Schuyler" she smiled and everyone gave her a clapped before she started. She started to sing Helpless and when the part came for Alexander I quickly asked Rich,

"what did Mr Dave say before? I wasn't listening" He snickered
"You just have to sing a song from one of your characters and acted while singing" I'm happy I practiced know, but I didn't know what to do because Peggy didn't have any one person songs. Once Christine finished everything clapped but Mr Dave shook his head.

"I now realise this is going to be hard, I think we're going to do it a bit differently" Mr Dave quickly scanned his paper "Anyone who want to go for the main five boys, Aaron, Alexander, Hercules, Laurens or Lafayette, please come up on the stage. Basically every boy got up except for the few that were going for roles like James Madison or Washington.

Rich, Micheal, Jeremy and Jake all got up. I wished them luck as they got up on stage. I noticed those guys from detention and Connor who was looking nervously at Evan and Jared in the crowd.
"I'm going to get you to sing Aaron burr sir, your welcome to have your script on stage as I never told you you'd have to learn this. Now make groups of five" That ended up making two groups perfectly because one guy ran off stage, probably stage fright.

First up was the groups of boys I didn't know. I only recognized Kurt and Ram, along with one boy I think his name was Justin? When I first got here he avoided me like I was a cop or something. Anyway, they performed all of them holding a script and I had to say, they weren't the best but then again they could be good with some practice.

Then came all the boys that I knew. It started off with Rich walking on stage Micheal soon following.
"Pardon me, are you Aaron Burr, sir?" Micheal said tapping on Rich's shoulder. He looked amazing up on stage, I couldn't help but stare.
"Well that depends, who asking?" Rich said back, I noticed he was trying to hide his lisp because normally asking was a hard word for him, he was doing good though. Soon enough came Jeremy who was actually amazing! John Laurens suited him.

Then came Jake who was mostly yelling which I guess work for Hercules. And Connor. I'm aloud to say this because he's gay but Connor speaking French is hot. As soon as I thought that I looked at Evan who's face was tomato red, couldn't blame him. Those boys finished with a loud applause.

Mr Dave wrote something down as the boys came to sit back down.
"That was amazing!" I said to all of them, quickly hugging Micheal before he sat down
"Ha, thanks" I let go and he fell down in his chair, I did the same
"Next up ladies, anyone going for Angelic, Eliza or Peggy please come forward" I was freaking out and basically dying inside as I stepped on stage.

I quickly counted the other girls, there were eight. I partnered up with Christine and looked around for Veronica who was are Angelica
We're is she?
I then looked in the crowd to see Veronica with her headphones in at the back. She looked up at me and I frantically motioned for her to come up on stage. She sprinted down the audition and joined us earning a glare from Mr Dave.

They started off with three girls who I didn't know. They were alright but probably better than me, they didn't act though, just sang. For the Aaron burr parts they just played the actual track which all of us ended up doing.

Then next was the girls we saw from the pool, the Heather's Veronica called them. The one in green, Heather Duke, was Peggy while Chandler (the almighty says Veronica) was Angelica and The yellow one who Veronica didn't inform me about was Eliza.
The worst part about it, they were really good. I'm sure Christine and Veronica were better than them but I definitely wasn't. I started to freak out as there song came to an end.

"Pssst" I looked up from the ground and into the crowd to see Micheal. He took and deep breath and motioned me to follow, I didn't and he did it again. After three deep breaths he smiled and gave me the thumbs up giving me a little more confidence.

"Anglica~" Veronica sang
"Eliza~" Christine followed, I tried to be more emotional so I moved both them aside and stood in the middle
"And Peggy!" I winked and stepped back so I was in line with the other girls.

Once it was finished everyone clapped and I immediately looked at Micheal. He clapped but when he saw me looking he wolf whistled making me giggle.
"Great job girls, Now can the people who want to play Alexander and Washington please come on stage"

Time skip~

The Auditions were over and Mr Dave said he would try let people know by the end of the day. I was sitting at the lunch table with everyone, thats something good about Audtions, you miss most of the day.

"Urgh I hate waiting" I groan and cover my face in my hands, I was sitting in between Micheal and Jeremy, both of them Turning to me.
"It's not that long Y/n" Jeremy said laughing, Micheal laughed to
"Yeah, once we had to wait the whole weekend. Getting to know them today is really quick, he must of known who he wanted" Micheal said
"I guess" I groaned

"So y/n" Rich said, I looked up at him "your obliviously going to be Peggy, so~" I blushed knowing what he meant, Micheal must have known to because when I looked at him his face was red. He cleared his throat before saying

"We don't know if I'll get Alexander yet," He said
"Dude, your only competition is Ram, I think you've got it." Jake said
"Plus you were amazing" I added smiling at him
"T-thanks" He said
"O my god you guys should just Fuck already" Chole said while putting on lipstick
"I-" I tried to say before being cut off by the school speakers.

"Hello Children!" It was Mr Dave, "Everyone who auditioned, the sheets are now up on campus! Once you've read it please the people who got through come to the Auditorium after school" We all pulled out phones but Christine was the first.

"AHHHH" she squealed but did say anything
"Haha nice!" Jake and Rich high fived.
I finally got the page up and scanned over it.
