Chapter 1

It was the first day of your new job. You were going to start working at the Smith's grove Sanitarium. Before you even started to work here, you were told that there was a very dangerous patient in particular. Michael Myers, that is. You didn't know who this man was since you came from another state, but the boss seemed very frantic about this man and so you took him seriously. You were told to not worry since they would make sure that you would never work with him or even see him for that matter.

You thought it was a little bit of overkill, but you didn't complain. You were working at an insane asylum so you were happy that they were being cautious with their new comer.

You parked your car and shut the engine off. You sighed and looked down at the passenger seat to see your nurses hat. You snatched it up and got out of your car. You turned to see the building that you would be working at and you felt a chill come up over your body. The hospital seemed very creepy and looked to be overly secured. You just shrugged and walked to the entrance. Once you were there the security greeted you.  They wished you luck and to not worry about anything and you nodded to them also wishing them well.

Once you were inside you noticed how big it was. It was very modern and well secured. You instantly felt safe and smiled. You went up to the front desk that was in front of the main doors and said that you were the new nurse. The woman that was there smiled and said that you can go through and that someone is already waiting for you in the next room. You said thanks to her and you showed your ID to the security that was at the metal door and they smoothly let you in.

You had to go through lots of doors and inspections before you could even get to the next room. But, once you did you were greeted by Dr.Loomis. Or that is what he called himself.

"Hello miss (your last name) this will be your schedule for today. I am very sorry, but the nurse that was taking care of Michael was severely injured. I will need you to replace her until we find a permanent nurse for him.  I know what we had agreed on before you came, but please, you are the only one I can ask. Everyone else is scared. So please, can you do this?"

I sighed and nodded. "I suppose I don't have a say in this either way do I?" I said and Dr. Loomis smiled sadly and shook his head no. I sucked in a deep breath and let it go slowly. I stood up straight with my shoulders back and I smiled.

"I signed up for this job, so I will do my job." I said and Dr. Loomis seemed to look relieved once I said that. We started to look for Michael since Dr. Loomis said that Michael wasn't in his room right now. I looked around and I seen lots of other patients. Some kept to themselves and some came up to me to either say hello or offer me things. Like drawings, or little trinkets that they would find on the floor. I even met one that was interested in me and they followed us all the way to the "living room" once I looked at them and they seen me they gasped and ran away. I giggled to myself and waited for Dr. Loomis to tell me what to do.

Dr. Loomis came back out of the chill area and he said that it was safe for me to come in now. Once I walked in I seen lots of much more calm patients and they were playing like board games with makeshift pieces. I looked around and I seen this very large man with long brown wavy hair that seemed it wasn't taken care of and what really intrigued me was that he had an orange mask on. He was also in chains and cuffs. I felt sad that he was so restrained but then I also remembered that apparently he was very dangerous. Dr. Loomis said that I can go up to Michael and introduce myself.

"Hello, Michael. I have actually heard lots about you. I will be your temporary nurse until they find you a permanent nurse. I hope that doesn't bother you. The last thing I want to do is to make you uncomfortable. From what I can see, I probably won't have many complications with you, but if I do, please be gentle and easy on me. It is my first day." I said and Michael had finally looked up to me once I was finished. I sucked in a shallow breath once I seen his eyes. He looked pissed off, but also calm. He...looked dead. I looked over at Dr. Loomis and I instantly regretted that once Michael slowly started to stand. I looked back over at him and he was still staring at me once he had stood to his full height. He was crouched a little because of the chains that were connected to his ankles. I gulped, but, I too stood straight. I looked at him in the eyes and,

Smiled.

"Shall we take you to your room now Michael? I believe it is almost lunch time." I seen that he tilted his head a little and I chuckled.

"No Michael, I am not scared of you. You are just another troubled patient, I am well aware of the dangers. But, I truly don't care. I am here to do my job, and if you are part of my job, I will take care of you. But, I also know how to defend myself and care for myself. So, if you even try to put  a finger on me I will not hesitate to restrain you. Just because I am a nurse does not mean I can't take care of myself. I hope you like my stay from now on." I smiled and nodded towards Dr. Loomis and the police and we were on our way to bring Michael to his room.
