Eight years ago, my idol and the all-time most influential music artist ever graced the earth one last time. He's not just my idol, because he created amazing music or because he danced like no other. He's my idol, because he did this while staying true to himself and the world.

Michael Jackson didn't just create new music and style, he influenced the entire world. He brought new ways of thinking and believing. He inspired us to work together and to not give up. He taught us to love the world, each other, and ourselves. Even though he may not be here, he still continues to inspire people, both young and old. I'm sure at least everyday somewhere in the world, one child finds out about him and becomes a fan.

It may seem like nonsense, but I know he's watching over us, and who knows, maybe he's the one telling us it's okay when we're in times of trouble. It sure feels like it sometimes. Some days are worse than others, but he's always somehow there to lift things back up.

As much as I wish he was still here, I believe it's better for him now. Of course, there will always be moments where I may be depressed and even cry about him being gone, but I'll always know that his legacy is still here, and that he won't be forgotten.

Many have role models and people that they look up to, but I can safely say that my idol is the best out of all. I miss you and love you more, Michael Jackson ❤️
