Michael's ex girlfriend (Cate)

Ugh I hate that Mulan and Michael are together they don't look right it was cuter when Michael and me were dating. I've been spying on them for about a year now and it kills me seeing them holding hands, making out and being all lovey dovey to one another. Sometimes I just want to puke.

*Flashback*

"Your up for the party?" Michael smirked. "Yup." We drove to our school party and we walked in with the music blasting loud with people dancing having a good tie with friends or dates. "I'm going to get us some punch." I stand on the side by myself waiting for Michael. "Hey Cate I'm back." He hands me the fruit punch." We walked hand in hand on the dance floor some people were staring at us while we make up crazy dance moves but it was fun. "Haha!" I laughed Michael was doing the worm. "Your crazy sometimes you know that." I playfully punch his arm. "Yeah I guess." I saw a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes standing looking at me in the back round. I blushed as he winked at me I winked back. "Babe I'll be back." Michael kissed my cheek before he left the gym. I walked up to the hot blonde. "Hello beautiful." I giggled. "Hi." Batting my eyes. "Want to dance?" The guy takes my hand as we slow danced. "Your to beautiful to be on the dance floor all by yourself." I sighed. "Thanks it's just my date went to go for a break, but he's taking a while." He twirled me around as  we swayed to the slow music. "That's to bad I'll keep you company." This was a good chance to make Michael jealous when he gets back from his break. The whole time we were talking and having a ball. Then all of a sudden his lips crashed on to mine. I was so shocked he kissed me while my eyes were open and his was still closed. "No wait!" The guy kissed me again and Michael walked  in spilling his punch on the ground as he saw us kissing. The guy stopped as I saw Michael staring at us furiously. He approaches us and stepped in between us. "Why did you kiss him?!" He whisper yelled. "I didn't mean to kiss him, Marlon was the one who started it!" Michael ran his hands through his hair in frustration. "You know better and you kissed Marlon right in front of my face! None of you are innocent in this game!" Before I got a chance to explain. "But Michael let me explain." I tried to hold back tears. "No I'm breaking up with you Cate!" And with that Michael walked out of the school building. I ran out of the school dance asking my mom to pick me up early and take me home.

That is the worst memory I could think of back in my high school days. I really wanted to explain what had happened even though that this was years ago. That dumb ass Marlon ruined everything!

Michael's POV

I can't wait to see my girlfriend after I come home from work maybe I should buy her flowers to remind her of our love. I was going into my studio to write some music and play some tracks for a while. I started to write the song butterflies of course it's about my girlfriend Mulan. (He wrote Butterflies) As Michael was writing he started to think about his ex Cate. Man I wish she didn't kiss that Marlon at the party I thought she was really into me. I guess she used me to get to Marlon. He sighs and started writing again.

Cate's POV

Yes! Michael's not home I just hope my plan will work I'll kill Mulan! I Just have to figure out how to keep Michael locked out! I got ready and kept a knife and a gun in my purse just in case the stabbing doesn't work out. I make an evil slick smile as I get into my car driving to Michael's house. I rang the door bell.

Mulan's POV

"Hi?" As I opened the door to see a brunette with a red dress and heels. "Hi are you Mulan?" As she smiles her white teeth at me. "Yes can I help you with something?" The girl takes something out of her purse with a bunch of papers. "Yes  my name is Cate and I'm a phone sales girl, may I?" I let her in offering her a cup of tea. "Thank you Mulan." She shows me the contract for the phone company. "So Ms I'm going to be selling you sprint it's a great phone service! So instead of paying monthly you can pay your phone bills yearly and the best thing is you get unlimited internet, hot spot, and out of the country benefits." We look through the service prices. "It'll be easy to only pay one hundred dollars a year paying monthly can be annoying but paying yearly phone service gives you enough time to pay bills just in case you don't have the money yet. We do offer free trials and if you don't like our cell phone services we can gladly break the contract for you." Cate smiles. "Can me and my boyfriend discuss this? It sounds great but I would like to know his opinion two." Cate looks at me funny. "And what Is your boyfriends name Ms?" I smiled. "It's Michael." Her face turned red. "Oh what a sweet name." Cate grits through her teeth clenching the tea in her hand. "Oh yes I'm fine."

Michael's POV

Damn it I'm stuck in traffic I don't know if I'll be home on time. I decided to call Mulan to check on her.

Mulan's POV

"Hello?" I answered. "Hey babe I just wanted to know if your okay, I'm going to be running late because of traffic ok?" I sighed. "Yes I'll see you later then babe we also might be getting a new phone service contract. This young lady Cate has some great offers for us so I think we'll wait till you get home before I signed the contract." I giggled. "Ok love I'll see you later." We hung up. "I'm going to the bathroom." I said moving to the hallway." Smiling. "Ok." Cate said as she does some paper work.

Cate's POV

I smirked when she turned around so good Michael won't be home for a while. I carefully take the knife out of my purse hiding it behind my shirt. I tried to act natural when she came  back into the kitchen. I started to write down random things on the paper again.

Mulan's POV

I sit down in the kitchen as I'm watching Cate doing work. "Well since you seem to like my services so far can you please read and look over the contract?" I agree as she hands me the papers. I started reading when I'm reading Cate started to take something from behind her back. And stabs a knife through the wooden table. I jumped as the shiny knife sits there in front of me. "So you thought you can steal my boyfriend bitch?" She laughed making a creepy grin. "What are you talking about?" I started to shiver as she gets up and started walking around the kitchen. "I'm going to tell you a story I think you'll enjoy kid, one night a girl named Cate and a boy named Michael decided to go to the school dance. Want some punch? Michael asked me. Yes please Michael walks away to get some punch and I stand alone away from the crowd of students waiting for Michael to come back. Michael hands me the fruit punch and we started dancing boy was it romantic! We did crazy dances while people stared but I didn't care we had a good time. Michael said he had to go to the bathroom so I didn't mind again I was left by myself. And a boy kept staring at me in the middle of the floor he was a gorgeous blonde so he winked at me from afar I walked up to him and I said hey beautiful. I giggled and we started to dance and have a good time talking and laughing he kept me company while Michael was gone. I thought it would  be fun to make Michael jealous! So we kept dancing but the mistake happened the boy kissed me but I pushed him off Marlon kissed me again when Michael saw that he was heart broken. He didn't even get me a chance to explain I never kissed the guy back but Michael broke up with me the night of our date! It's your turn now Mulan." A tear ran down my face. "But you guys broke up in high school that was ages ago. Isn't it time to get over the past?" Cate laughed. "No but it'll be fun to get back at Michael when he sees his dead little girlfriend lying on the floor ugly and dead." Cate snatches the knife from the table she tried to target me but I ducked and ran away from the kitchen up the stairs. "No please!" I ran up the stairs locking myself in my bedroom. I tried to escape from my high story window and landed on the grass. "Mulan?!" She tried to pry the door open. I run to the front door and screamed for help. "Help!" But no one seems to hear me.

Michael's POV

I parked into the drive way and see Mulan freaking out I quickly got out of the car. Once she saw Michael she started to hide. "Mulan? What's wrong?!" I hug tring to calm her down. "I'm gonna get killed!" She pants. "I bought you these." She takes the flowers and kisses me. "Maybe it was just a nightmare babe come on." She nods and we go inside. Cate was hiding in there bedroom under the bed. Michael takes off his socks and slips into comfortable clothing. "Babe I'm going to shower. " Mulan nodded. "I'll come with you." She strips down naked and I see her hot body I hold her hand and lead her into the shower. We kissed as we let the warm water trickle down our bodies.

Cate's POV

I can hear moaning and groaning I wish I can just kill Mulan already! Michael and Mulan got out of the shower drying each other off I was grossed out as I spied on them. Maybe when they make love it'll be the perfect time to kill Mulan they'll be to distracted to know what's going on. I get up from behind the bed slowly hiding the knife behind my back I started to laugh as Michael thrust into Mulan. Michael turns around to see me with his eyes widened with fear. "Cate?" I blushed. "That's right!" I stabbed the bed and they both move out of the way holding each other. "Michael I want to put on a show for you." She threatened. "What are you doing here Cate? How did you find where I lived? I mean we haven't seen each other since high school." He nervously smiled. "That slut in your arms is taking you away from me! And she knows it!" I started to get more angry. "But she barely even knows you. Please don't hurt her." I scoffed. "Maybe I'll hurt both of you." I smirked cutting Michael's arm and a little bit off blood drips on the knife and his arm. Michael holds his arm where I cut him. "Ugh!" He groaned. "Stop please!" Mulan unwraps her bath towel putting pressure on the cut.  "Isn't it fun?"

Mulan's POV

I can't believe she actually cut Michael! I hope Michael is ok. I caress his face kissing his cheek. "Well Michael I would like to explain everything that happened the night of the school dance." Cate rolled her eyes. "But Cate no matter how you'll explain it the situation is over and I'm in love with-" Michael got cut again. "No!" I shout as Michael moaned in pain. "Now shut up and listen Mikey bear. When you saw Marlon kiss me I didn't kiss the boy back. And before you even walked in the gym the first time I pushed Marlon away. That was all I wanted to tell you until you cute me off you buffoon!" Cate was thinking for a minute. "Oh I think it's your turn next missy!" I tried to move away from her and she nearly cut my leg but instead stabbed the bed again. Next she catches up to me and cuts my leg a little bit. "Ah!" I look at her in fear Michael gets up and chokes Cate from behind. "Call the cops hurry! Cate I hate to hurt you but chill please. Our relationship is in the past please understand you knew I was hurt. Why did you guys kiss?" Michael asked as Cate tried to get out of his grip gasping for air. Michael lets her neck go and wraps his arms around her waist. "Because I wanted to make you jealous Michael, I wanted it to be innocent until Marlon ruined it." Michael gasped. "But you guys had no right to kiss." Cate raises her arms and stabs Michael in the waist. "Ah!" Michael fights trying to remove the knife from her hand. "Hello? Officer we have a murderer please come now! she's in our house and she just stabbed my boyfriend. He's still alive trying to fight the knife from her please!" I screamed into the phone. The knife drops and I snatch it off of the floor holding the knife. "Michael run!" I run down the stairs and Michael follows after letting go of Cate. Cate was trying to catch up to us. I pointed the knife to Cate. "If you dare touch Michael again I'll fucking kill you!" I cried Cate takes her gun out of her purse. "Shit!" I said. "Yup a knife can't be stronger then a gun baby." She laughed. "Michael I love you! If you leave Mulan I won't kill her. Me and you can have a wonderful life together get married and have kids." Cate tried to look inncocent putting the gun down to the floor. I looked up at Michael who was standing besides me. "Cate I hate to hurt your feelings but I'm happily in love with Mulan we were meant to be. Please understand if you didn't kiss Marlon things would have changed." A tear falls down Cates face. "Listen brat it's your choice." Cate grabbed me putting the gun to my head. The police barged in had there guns armed and ready. "Put the gun down gently and nobody gets hurt. Put your hands up!" Cate new there wasn't away to escape. "I have to kill her! She stole love from me!" Cate started to cry again. "Put the gun down don't make me warn you." The officer said, I looked at Michael scared. "I love you Michael these are going to be my last words." Michael started to cry. "No your not going to die. Just don't do anything to make her shoot." Michael moved a little bit and a gun warning was shot. "Cate please! we can be friends how about that?" Cate shook her head no. "No! I want a lover not a friend. All I wanted was you I really like you Michael I'm asking for forgiveness. That night yes I made a huge mistake to! But when I kissed Marlon it meant nothing to me. I just wanted to make you jealous I still had feelings for you like I do now."

Cate's POV

Great now I'm trapped! I can't even escape the police there is probably like one hundred out there waiting to arrest me and throw me in jail. How come I can't find love Mulan is beautiful did Michael think she was prettier than me? Was it all about looks? I love Michael I can't shoot the girl they are really meant to be together. Look at how happy Michael looks, I want the best for Michael. I put the gun to my head and looked at Michael I have to let this go. "Michael I understand now. You and Mulan are meant to be I'm happy that your happy. I only want what's best for you. I can't bare the pain anymore-" As more tears falls from my eyes. "No Cate! Don't do this please." I nodded my head yes. "I have to." Michael walks up to me. "Michael?" As he hugs me. "I love you." I pulled the trigger.

Michael's POV

"No!" I slapped Cate trying to wake her this is all my fault but I really didn't have feelings for Cate anymore. Man this really sucks her life is precious I wish she knew that, love would have found her way in another path. I cried walking over to Mulan she hugs me tightly and I cried to. I stare at Cat's body as her eyes were still open with a pool of blood around her. The cops carried her body and puts it in a black body bag. The police investigates the scene after a while and goes away. All Cate needed was love it would have stopped her from committing suicide.
