You and your best friend Michael were walking around town. You were thinking about getting a pet and so was Michael. You walked to a variety of places across town for goodies and things. As you were heading to your place, since Michael was living with you, you got all your stuff put away and plopped onto the couch.

You flipped through a magazine and found a picture of a cute little kitten wrapped in a blanket. You were giggling at it and started to think about getting a kitten. "Whatcha doing there YN?" Michael said and fell onto the couch with his head in your lap. "Just looking at this magazine and found this," you said and showed him the picture.

Michael started to giggle a little and make little purr noises. "Michael what are you... Doing?" You said while you tried to control your giggles. "I'm your little kitty! See?" He said while making more purring noises.

"What if we get a kitten?" You said and Michaels eyes widened. "What?" You said with a confused loom on your face. "I was going to ask you the sane thing," he said while looking up at you. "Want to go to the pet store to find one?" He said and got up and extends his hand to help you up. "Sure let's go on an adventure!" You said while grabbing your jacket and purse and walked out the door.

****At the pet store****

You and Michael walked into the pet store to find an array of animals. You saw parrots, fishes, mice, puppies, etc. You walked in different directions to find the cat area.

You walked up to a playpen of kittens and cats. You seen some orange ones which reminded you of Garfield, some white ones that were really fluffy, and some grey ones. You admired them all until you found one that was all black and had bright blue eyes. It was adorable!

"Michael!" You called and he appeared soon after. "Yes?" He said and pet some of the kittens. "Which one should we get?"

"I don't know. Their all cute to me!" He said while giggling when one of the kittens purred in his hand. You looked over to the kitten you seen earlier and motioned to the clerk to come over to where the two of you stood.

"Yes?" The clerk said. She had brown hair and green eyes. She had a small frame.

"How much for this kitten?" You said while pointing to the black kitten.

"The initial price was $20, but we dropped it to $10," she said and lifted the kitten in her hands.

Michael looked at the kitten you chose and you saw a sparkle in his eye. "Awww... That one is adorable!" He said and you laughed. "Let's get this one," Michael said and you nodded. The clerk went back to the counter and put the kitten in his/her cage and closed the latch.

"Okay the cost is $10. The kitten is a girl just to let you know. She's all yours," the clerk said as you handed her the money. "Have a nice day!" She waved and we waved back.

***** At Home *****

You and Michael set the cage on the coffee table and sat down. Michael opened the latch and took the kitten out. He held it gently in his hands and passed her to you.

"What are you going to call her?" Michael said and you thought about it. Hm....

"What about.... Diamond?" You said and Michael debates on the name. "What about Sky?" He suggested and you agreed. Soon enough, the cat purred in agreement.
