Huge company? I didn't like that!

"YN," Michael looked at me "I want you to go to your room and stay there until I've returned."
"Where are you going?" I asked with a worried voice.
"I'll go talk to them... Maybe I'll convince them to stop. Everyone comes with me! Gräfin, you can stay if you want. You've helped me enough, thank you." she nodded. "Go in your room, YN! Now!" I dared not ask further question, I spun around and started going to my room. I could feel Michael's eyes on my back, waiting for me to leave so that he'll be sure I had followed his instruction.

I got inside and closed the door.

My heart was beating really fast inside of my chest, because I was scared of this huge company. A lot of vampires must be here. I looked out of the window, but the entrance of the castle was far away so I couldn't see anything.

I only hoped that Michael would be able to handle them all... He was strong, but being outnumbered was another story.

I decided to sit on the bed and try to rest for a while! I needed to think positive now and soon all of this was going to be over!

I waited for around 15 minutes when I heard Michael's voice, calling me.

"YN..." but it was more like a whisper. It sounded as if it was coming from the distance.
"Michael?" I jumped from the bed and called for him.
"YN..." I spun around, trying to figure out where the voice was coming from.
"Michael, where are you? Michael?"
"I'm here YN... help me!"

Where was his voice coming from? I decided to leave the room and look for him around the castle when suddenly... a part of the wall in my room moved and then started rotating. What was that? Was this an entrance??

"YN help me!" I heard Michael's voice coming from inside there.
"Michael I'm coming!" I scurried inside.

Michael's POV

Now that YN wasn't around, I could stop acting as a human and use my powers freely. I didn't want her to know all about my abilities for I was afraid that she'd think I'm a monster.

I jumped off the ground in the air and within a few seconds I flew over all the way from the castle to the entrance. I landed on my feet.

"Oh what do I see?" I said to the big crowd in front of me. I heard Gilbert land beside me and our two friends as well. "All of my children had gathered to see me off?? Am I right?" I sarcastically said.

They were all here. Adamus, Marlon, Melissa, the elders, everyone I have ever made. Their faces were filled with pure rage and Adamus' had an evil smile. He must be really happy now. He's always wanted to be the king.

"Dracula, " the eldest begun "we came to offer you a deal."
"A deal, really?"
"If you stop this madness right now, we shall let you return the girl to her hometown unharmed and we will never try to kill her. We shall forget about your actions and you will continue to be our father and king. What do you say?"

YN's POV

"Michael where are you?" I got inside of this darkness. I couldn't see anything it was pitch dark! Maybe I should return? But suddenly a few lights hanging off the wall went on.

I saw I was in a small, narrow corridor that was very old. I hesitantly continued walking forward.

"Michael?" but there was no answer. I then came into a huge hall. Its tall walls were covered in dark wood and red wallpaper. There was no furniture, only huge, gold candle holders hanging off the walls. What was this place? Was this some kind of hidden room?

"YN YN!"
"Michael? Where are you?" now I could hear his voice clearly! He must be here somewhere. "Michael?"

Suddenly, from the middle of the room, the floor just opened... and from within it appeared a coffin.

"M-Michael.." I stuttered, looking at the coffin in fear. Where was my Michael? Why was there a coffin? Oh Lord! I suddenly remembered my dream! I had to get out of here!

"YN, where are you going so fast?" Michael's voice spoke and in the middle of the sentence, it changed into the countess' voice...

Michael's POV

If they ask me something like that, trying to negotiate with me, they must be afraid that I might kill them. And they should be.

"And what if I say no?" I spoke.
"Then we will have no choice but to stop you." I giggled and my giggles turned into a loud laugh.
"You'll stop me? Hahaha!"
"What is your answer?" I became serious all of a sudden.
"You dare ask me what my answer is? Don't you know that I never negotiate or accept offers!? My decisions doesn't change. Now turn around and leave!" I didn't wanna kill them, so I gave them this chance to leave, and if they didn't, well... they'll meet my friend - my rage.

We kept staring at each other for a few seconds when he yelled

"ATTAAAAACK!!!" all of the vampires scurried in my direction.

Wrong decision.

I inhaled deeply air and extended my arms in the air, pointing my palms towards them. The air was under my control now, so I created the strongest wind I ever had in my being, and blew it in their direction. They momentarily started moving backwards. Even their strong vampire bodies couldn't stand my wind. The brunches detached from the trees and flew in the air too. Then the naked trees started folding backwards as if they were rubber bands. I kept my wind going for a minute to make sure it blew the vampires as far as possible. Then I stopped.

"Listen to me, we're going back to the castle and prepare the rocket as soon as possible!" I ordered.
"But, count, we haven't tested it yet!" Gilbert reminded me.
"There is no time, Gilbert! We have to leave now! They will return soon. I don't want to kill them all.. I don't want victims!"
"Alright, count. Let's go!"

YN's POV

The coffin opened itself, but I couldn't see what was inside it.

"Why don't you stay with me, YN?"
"Countess?" then I heard her laugh coming from every direction of this hall. Where was she?
"Come closer, YN... come to me." I wind blew my face suddenly.

But where would a wind come from in this isolated room.

"YN?" she called again and then.. I didn't know what I was doing.

I only saw red blood coming from the coffin. It was so much that it soon went all over the floor and my feet, but I didn't move.

I started walking forwards, straight to the coffin.

My feet were wet from the blood.

"Come to me, YN..."

I stood in front of the coffin and the blood stopped overflowing.

All of a sudden, a hand, covered in blood appeared in the air. Then another one. The hands grabbed onto the sides of the coffin and slowly a face started appearing, then a neck, a chest, until the countess stood on her two feet in front of me. She was covered in blood and was smiling at me.

The blood then slipped down her body like oil to show her white skin.

"Come, YN, don't be scared!" she extended her arms for me and I took a step forward. She wrapped them around me and rested my head against her shoulder. I felt two sharp fangs against my skin.

Michael's POV

With one jump we were in the castle and the first thing I wanted to do, was take my YN.

"You two go prepare the rocket!"
"Yes, count!"
"Gilbert, let's go get YN." we headed upstairs when I suddenly stopped and sniffed "Do you feel that?" he sniffed and replied
"No, what?"
"It's blood..." we looked at each other and run off to YN's room.

I flung the door open with force and saw a hidden door open in the wall.

Without thinking for a second, I flew inside of that entrance and with each step, the smell of blood was getting stronger. It was YN's and the countess'.

I stepped inside a huge hall to find YN and the countess in the middle of the room, next to a bloody coffin.

"CORNELIAAA!" I yelled her name. She stopped drinking YN's blood and looked at me and Gilbert. YN wasn't dead!! Thank God I came on time!

YN was looking at me motionless. That witch must have hypnotized her, but why!!

I grabbed YN's hand and snapped my fingers in front of her face. This made her wake up and she realized what was going on. She hugged me tightly and started sobbing in my chest.

"Why Cornelia?" that was all I wanted to know "Why did you betray me like this?" to hurt the most precious thing in my life... YN. She begun to hysterically laugh.
"Oh Michael.. " she shook her head "to show you that this girl isn't for you, honey!"
"What??"
"Do you not remember the past? When I told you that I love you? Well, I still do. And I think you should stay here with me, Michael. This human is not for you."

I couldn't believe it! So she still loved me after all those years!!?

"I don't love you, Cornelia. Never have and never will. I told you that, don't you remember?!!"
"But Michael!!" she started walking towards me. I raised my hand in front of her and said
"Don't come near me or YN." I let go of YN and Gilbert stood next to her. "I'll come to you." I said and walked over to Cornelia.
"Michael.." she smiled, but then I grabbed her throat with my left hand and whispered
"I can forgive you for laying to me, betraying and deceiving me, but touching YN with your dirty hands... trying to kill her.. For this you will pay with your life."
"NOO!" I quickly stuck my sharp fangs into her neck and started sucking her blood. She was screaming, begging, fighting, but I was stronger and in less than a minute, all of her blood was mine.

Without the blood in her body, it became extremely brittle. All I needed to do was squeeze her neck harder and she'd be dead forever. And that's what I did. She fell on the floor in million little pieces.

The blood of an old vampire made me feel even stronger! Only the taste of blood made me feel strong, because I haven't drunk enough to satisfy me for a long time, ever since I left America with YN.

I was like a newborn now. The blood of an old vampire flowing within me like fire!

"YN, are you okay?" she nodded her head and I went to her and held her tightly in my arms. "It's over now.. I didn't know the countess would do such crazy things! I'm truly sorry!"
"I'm fine.. I just want this to be over."
"It will be! Let's go to the rocket, YN. We are living now!"
"Really?"
"Yes."
"What happened to the company?"
"They are coming back, I can hear them run. They'll be here soon. Let's hurry."

YN's POV

We went to the very roof of the castle, because there was the rocket, waiting for us.

When we landed there with me in Michael's hands, I saw it.

It was white and very long!

"Wow..." I said.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" said Michael "It's gonna take us home!" he kissed my cheek and then suddenly, vampires started landing on the roof around us, coming from above. They surrounded us in a circle.

Michael and Gilbert stood next to me quickly as a shield.

"I'll take care of it. You guard, YN." he whispered to Gilbert. "And when I give you a sign, get her in the rocket." Gilbert nodded yes.
"I'LL KILL YOU ALL UNGRATEFUL BRATS!" Michael yelled and run towards them.

I felt Gilbert's hands on my waist and next thing I knew, we were flaying off the ground high in the air. We landed on the top of the rocket. From here I could see miles away. It was this high! I let out a scream and held tightly onto him.

I looked down to see Michael and the vampires fighting. They were moving so extremely fast that my eyes couldn't keep up with it!

"Gilbert, is Michael okay?"
"Yes, milady." I inhaled deeply to relief the fear. I was still looking down, but didn't know what was going on! Those vampires were too fast.

But then.. they stopped and I saw Michael being held by the hands, feet, legs, waist, chest by them. They got him. They got our friends too!

"MICHAELL!" I yelled.

Gilbert grabbed me and we jumped down in front of them.

"Gilbert, be smart and give us the girl." a very old-looking vampire said.
"You have to go through me to take her."
"You turn against your own kind... against the vampires and for what?" he begun "If they manage to leave for the city of the night, you'll be completely alone here, because everybody will hate you, Gilbert. But if you join us now, you won't be an outcast."

Gilbert stood in front of me and growled from deep within his lungs. It wasn't his usual growl, but the growl of a strong wolf. Then I noticed him... changing.

His hands became long and hairy! His legs too! And suddenly in front of me stood a fearful werewolf!

His fangs were long and sharp like a knife! His eyes glistened with the color of blood and his breathing was mixed with sounds of growl.

This was his answer to the vampire. He truly was devoted to Michael. Never betray him. Even if he had to protect me... the human. 

"So I see, Gilbert." a few vampires run to Gilbert and he jumped in the air with arms wide open and nails ready to tear the vampire's flesh.

Just as they were about to crush in the air, the vampires caught on fire and within a second turned into ashes. What happened? Gilbert landed on his two feet, wondering the same.

Then we all looked at Michael slowly, who was calmly standing there, being held by the vampires.

He let out an evil laugh... then another one, until he burst out laughing.

He burnt the vampires!!!

"You idiots think you can get me?? And then attack YN and Gilbert?? Hahahaha! I'm playing with you like a cat with a mouse!!" then the vampires who were holding him caught on fire too and let him go, hysterically trying to put themselves out. "PREPARE TO DIE!"

He raised his hands and I saw flames circling us. The flames grew stronger and started approaching the vampires like a thick wall. He was gonna burn them all!

"NOW GILBERT!" he yelled and Gilbert stood with his back in front of me on his two feet and hands, motioning me to get on his back.

I was a little scared to touch a werewolf, but this wasn't the time for it! So I quickly wrapped my hands and legs around him, then he started running werewolf-style to the rocket.

Michael was burning the vampires one by one and his thick wall of flames was impenetrable. There was no escape.

They were running around like crazy, begging for mercy their father, but he didn't look like he was going to show mercy today.

Gilbert got me inside of the rocket and nodded his head, growling. I assumed this meant that everything was ready. The rocket looked prepared for departure! Only Michael was missing and we could finally leave! We'll leave everything behind us and love ourselves freely without zero trouble! Finally! I'll be happy with the man I love! Oh Lord thank you! He only had to finish and he was going to join me and...

"Gilbert??" he stood there bleeding... "What.." his legs must have become week, because he suddenly collapsed on the ground to reveal behind his big werewolf body...

Adamus.

"You!!!" I yelled at the devilishly smiling Adamus. "What did you do to Gilbert!??"
"Oh don't worry, love. I only stuck a silver knife through his flesh, but he's gonna be fine.. I guess." he smirked and started approaching me
"Stay away from me!" Gilbert tried to raise on his feet and help me, but Adamus pushed him out of the rocket. Now it was only me and him inside.
"Come here, sugar!" he grabbed me by the hair.
"You sneaky little snake!" I tried fighting him.
"You're not in the position to insult me, love. Let's look outside!" he brought me to the entrance. "Look, your Dracula is fighting for you with all his strength. He must really love you.." he sighed sarcastically.
"What do you want?"
"Oh nothing really... just to end this now that your life is in my hands and become the hero and eventually... the king!" he grinned.
"You are a coward!"
"But a smart one!" he winked then yelled "DRACULAAAAA LOOK WHAT I HAVE HEEEERE!!!"

Michael looked in our direction and suddenly his fire stopped.

"YNNNNN!" he yelled. "LET HER GO YOU WORM!"
"You better treat me well, Michael because she is with me now!" Michael quickly run close to the rocket, but Adamus stopped him "Stay there or she'll die!"
"What do you want Adamus? Tell me?!!" I looked at Gilbert, who was laying on the ground holding his wound. I hoped he would forgive me for this... his wound was my fault. But instead of anger in his eyes, I saw something else - warmth. And then... then he made a slight motion with his head and I thought that meant to look behind me.

I looked behind me very slowly so that I won't caught Adamus' attention, who was holding me tightly and looking at Michael

On the ground a few meters behind me, I saw the silver knife, Adamus used for Gilbert. That was it!!! Gilbert wanted me to take it and protect myself! He must have intentionally pulled it out of his flesh and let it here for me! Thank you Gilbert!! Now I had to wait for the perfect moment!

"You are not very bossy now, ha Michael?" Adamus laughed.
"Tell me what do you want you idiot!" Michael was very angry and worried. "You want my place, don't you??? Let go of YN and I'll officially proclaim you king in front of everyone before we leave for the city of night!"
"Oh Michael... you flatter me!" he sarcastically replied "You can read my thoughts so well. Then, I guess we have a-" in this second when he was distracted and his grip around me had loosened, I pulled him with all my power and run to the knife!!!

"YOU WITCH!" he yelled at me and just when I grabbed the knife, he pushed my body with a strength and I flew backwards, hitting onto something.

Then to my utmost surprise, the rocket's engine started and the glass door closed hermetically right before Michael managed to stop it. He literally crashed against the glass door like a fly against a window.

He started banging hard against the door, screaming, yelling! I scurried to him too and so did Adamus, who was also banging hard against the door to break it.

"What did you do you stupid girl!" Adamus yelled.
"YN YN!" I could hear Michael's voice from the other side and the rocket begun shaking. I must have hit some buttons with my back when Adamus pushed me.
"MICHAEL HELP NO MICHAEL!" I was yelling and crying and hitting the glass... but it was so strong even the vampires couldn't break it.

Then it started counting off... only 10 seconds.

I had only 10 seconds to look at Michael's face for the last time.

He was crying, yelling, hitting the glass, trying to stop it, as well as Adamus, but there was no hope.

"I DON'T WANNA GO ANYWHERE!" Adamus was yelling in despair as the last second came

The rocket departed with huge flames from the engine. They surrounded Michael, who was fighting to the last breath to stop the rocket and caught his skin on fire, but still he won't give up.

The speed increased suddenly and Michael could no longer hold onto the rocket. The last thing I heard from him was a scream so loud that it echoed in the sky.  

The speed increased even more! Me and Adamus weren't tied down, so our bodies were instable, flying from one direction to the next.

The speed got even faster! So fast that we lost consciousness.

I opened my eyes.

I was in the rocket, but it wasn't moving anymore.

I spotted Adamus laying on the other side of the machine. I slowly got up, ignoring the pain in my body and walked over to him.

"Adamus..." I shook him a little and he opened his eyes.
"Where are we?" he jumped.
"I don't know, but we're not moving."

The evil smile had disappeared off his face a long time ago. Now he was extremely serious and even sacred... I've never seen him like this before.

"We're alive, the rocket isn't moving" he said when he got up "This means one thing..." he looked at me "We've arrived."

He begun walking towards the door and I followed him, since I didn't know what else to do.

It was open now. It only needed one light push and it flung open like a breeze. We stepped outside and the first thing I noticed, was how dark it was.

"The city of night..." he whispered "It really exists..."

I looked around. It was dark - no sun, no moon, only stars which seemed far away. We were in something like a meadow.. but there was no nature either. No grass, no trees, only mountains. This place was scary!

"Wow.." he said "This place really is a vampire's dream.. no sun!" he suddenly jumped
"What?" there is someone here.
"You mean there are other v-vampires!!!!"
"I think so.."
"How many?" were they gonna kill us? He shook his head as a signal he didn't know.

"Hello.." I heard a child's voice coming from behind me. We turned around and saw a little boy with pure white skin "Who are you?" its voice was so sweet.
"We are..." Adamus stuttered "vampires from the earth."
"HAAAA!" the child put his hands on his face and pointed down "Earth??" Adamus nodded his head.
"VAMPIRES FROM THE EARTH VAMPIRES FROM THE EARTH!" the boy started yelling and within a minute, vampires gathered around us in a circle. They were all very pale and thin.

They were staring at us as if we were aliens. I remembered Michael's words about this city, that no one knew if there were habitants and no one could return back once arrived there...

Adamus' muscles tensed up and he, like me, didn't know what to expect!

"Adamus???" I male, soft voice suddenly spoke. Then we saw as someone was making their way through the small crowd of vampires and as soon as Adamus saw him, he froze. I couldn't see him very well, because it was dark...
"M-M-mmmm..." Adamus stuttered.
"You are Adamus! You are! How did you get here??!!" the man sounded as if he couldn't believe it.
"Mmmmm...rrr.." what was going on with him!! I needed his smart ass mouth now! Lord help me!
"Yes this is Adamus!" I suddenly spoke and everyone looked at me, that tall man too. "And I am YN. We came here by mistake and we're sorry! We need to return home!"
"YN, I am Meier Link." I still couldn't see him well I the darkness.
"Do you know Adamus?"
"Yes." Adamus just stood there with his mouth wide open "We were friends when I used to be on earth..." he said the last sentence with pain in his voice I could feel it. But his warm, soft voice encouraged me to speak more. I didn't know why, but he seemed harmless.
"We need to return back! This was a huge mistake! Can you please help us?"
"YN, we all want to return, but there is no way back from here. I'm sorry to disappoint you."
"Meier Link, Meier Link," the little boy run to him and pulled his long coat "she's a... human!" everyone exclaimed!
"A human! I haven't tasted human blood in centuries!" I heard vampires talking about how they haven't eaten humans and how hungry they were. I felt like I was the only human in a crowd of zombies. I had the feeling they were going to kill me when suddenly Adamus yelled!

"WAIT!" they looked at him "Don't touch her! Because Meier Link... she is.. she is... your brother's fiancée."

WHAT???

I could feel that Meier Link's eyes fixated on me now.
