As promised, here is the update!

We were in the middle of a narrow road, on the both sides of which were many trees and the fog in the air was so thick, that I could hardly see through the windows of the car.

I could only see a few silhouettes in the darkness, but couldn't precisely tell how many men were out there.

One thing was sure, the vampires weren't going to give up so easily. They were going to follow us until the end.

"Draculaaaa, come out to plaaaaay!" I heard the voice of one of the men outside, calling Michael. It was echoing, so I couldn't figure out which direction it came from.

I looked at Michael, my heart beating so fast in my chest, he, on the contrary, looked quite calm. Gilbert was also standing there, with a stern expression on his face.

"Gilbert," Michael's voice was soft "you stay in the car with YN, I'll handle the... obstacles."
"Yes, count."

"Draculaa, did you get scared? Come out to play with us!" the same man yelled again.

Michael opened the door of the car, got off and closed it behind him. I couldn't understand why was he so calm? The men outside obviously outnumbered us!

"You are wasting your time." Michael said to the men "Leave." he ordered, but they begun laughing.
"Dracula, Dracula..." one of the men said with sarcasm "I never thought the day in which you'd lose your mind completely, would come."
"And you came all the way here to fix my mind?" Michael replied sarcastically.
"Sort of... After we fix you tonight... Well, let's just say that you'll never have another problems in your..." they begun giggling before the man said the last word "life." this meant that they were going to kill him and yet he stood so still there, watching them as they laughed. 

I could see our car being surrounded by more man. They became visible as they moved forward and now I could tell, there were around 15 of them out there. That was a lot. I felt like I was imprisoned in their circle. We were going to die tonight for sure!

"The one who needs the fixing isn't me, my child, and if I were you, I wouldn't be so self-confident, because no one knows what fait has in mind for them." Michael replied with the same calm voice from before. "That's a tip from me to remember."
"I don't need you tips!" it seems like this got the vampire angry. He really was too self-confident and reminded me of Adamus. "But I'll take this one because it will be the very last tip you'll ever give to anybody!"
"Oh really.." Michael said.
"Yes!"
"You vampires have become extremely self assured nowadays..."
"And old vampires are out of fashion so they need to go!" the young vampire then suddenly jumped towards Michael to attack him and wrapped his hands around Michael's throat! At this point, I was so scared for him! I didn't want anything bad to happen to the man I loved! I grabbed the door and right before I opened it, Gilbert wrapped his hand around my wrist "Don't even think about it, lady." he ordered and removed my hand from the door.

"As I said.." I heard Michael's voice and looked at outside to see that Michael's right hand was around the vampire's neck, holding him up in the air! The vampire must have tried fighting by squeezing Michael's neck, but it didn't work for him. He left his hands fall down and was gasping for air! Michael was holding him really tightly, yet he looked so calmed and relaxed, as if he was doing nothing. "Young vampire are very arrogant and self-confident, but the worst part is, that you have not even one reason to feel confident." then suddenly I saw small flames coming out from where Michael's hand was on his neck.

The other vampires wowed at the sight of it and so did I! The flames grew bigger and stronger within a few seconds, and the vampire started screaming. He was on fire.

Michael set him on fire.

"ATTACK!" I heard few other vampires yell and they all jumped at him.

It all happened so fast for my human eyes to see and perceive, but I think I saw the body of the vampire who was on fire, being thrown in the air and landing far away. Michael must have thrown him to free his hands.

Then, he used his free hands to fight the others and all I saw was figures moving very fast in the fog. Some of them flew in the air like the first vampire, others landed on the ground and got up to fight again.

But it was when few of them managed to grab Michael by the neck when I got so scared for his life! I even for a second thought they were going to kill him, but suddenly, just like the first vampire, they burst in flames.

The ones on fire let him go, but other jumped at him again. I saw Michael's arm extend in the air and even before those vampires touched him, their bodies flew backwards and smashed against the thick trees so hard, that they almost disengaged.

All of the vampires were laying on the ground now. Michael had defeated them.

Suddenly, all of them burst into fire. Michael burned them to the ground.

He opened the door of the car and got in.

"Let's go now. I don't want us to be wasting more time." he ordered and Gilbert started the car and drove off, leaving the ashes of the vampires behind us, forever forgotten in this forest.

I kept looking at Michael's face - he looked so calm. Suddenly, he turned his head towards me and our eyes met. I blushed and quickly looked away.

"Don't look away, YN." he softly grabbed my chin so that I'd look at him again "The monster you saw earlier is going to be your husband... I'm sorry.."
"Monster!!?? No! You're not monster, Michael! I love you so much no matter what you do!" I wrapped my arms around him and buried my face in his neck.
"I'm sorry you had to witness all that..."
"Don't be! I am going to be your wife soon, and I don't want you to be embarrassed about yourself." I felt he buried his fingers in my hair to stroke it.
"Oh YN... sometimes I think I don't deserve you and that you'd be better off with a human ma-"
"Don't say that again! You are the best for me! I don't want anybody else!" I pressed my lips against his and noticed his neck was bruised. "Michael your neck!" those damn vampires hurt him.
"Don't worry, it will heal soon.. besides I don't feel pain."

"Love birds, I don't want to interrupt you, but I think I can see a car in the distance." Gilbert said.

Michael focused his eyes on the road and confirmed.

"Dammit! I knew vampires weren't going to give up so easily, but I didn't know they were planning on being everywhere!"
"Michael!" I squeezed his hand, scared.
"Don't worry, YN, as I've promised you before, nothing will harm you! Straight forward, Gilbert! Even the Devil himself won't stop us!"
"Yes, count!" Gilbert picked up speed and soon, I could see the car clearly in the distance. We were approaching it.

We were almost there, when I heard something like voices coming from outside.

"Stop Gilbert!" Michael said "Did you hear them too?"
"Yes, count.."
"What did they say?" I asked impatiently.
"They've come with... piece." Michael said surprised.
"Really? They are not going to attack?"
"That's what they said..."

Gilbert stopped the car in front of theirs.

There were two vampires approaching our car. Michael rolled the window down.

"Good evening, count, Gilbert, milady." one of them greeted us. "We have come with piece. We heard the other vampires earlier coming into the forests and we were  on our way to help you, but couldn't make in time. We're sorry."
"It's fine. We didn't need help anyway."
"You're probably wondering why we've come to help you?"
"Yes." Michael replied.
"The Countess sent us."
"And you think I'm buying this?"
"We're not laying, count. We are old friends of the countess and we also believe that the arrival of a new leader would bring terrible consequences for our kind. The only father and king whom we are going to worship is you, count. So we are going to do anything we can to help you, just order."
"Prove it."
"Of course." he put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper, than handed it to Michael. "From the countess." Michael took it and opened it. It was a letter in German, written very beautifully

Sehr geehrter Graf Dracula,

Das Tor zu den Sternen ist bei mir. Hoffentlich kommen Sie hier bald in bester Gesundheit an.
Das wünsche ich Ihnen von ganzem Herzen. Ich werde auf Sie warten.

"What does it say?" I impatiently asked Michael. So he spoke German?!!
"It says that she'll be waiting for us and wishes us all best on the way."
"Are you sure it's really from her?" I whispered in his ear "Maybe they'll try to trick us."
"I am. She is the only vampire who speaks German, besides me."
"How come?"
"I'll tell you on the way, my dear... Now I want to thank you, gentlemen, for your hard work. I know the way from the castle isn't easy... I also appreciate it that you want to help us."
"Anything for you, father."
"Now we need to keep moving. We can't afford wasting more time. There are probably more vampires arriving to Germany." Michael said.
"Leave it to us, count!"
"I want you to remember one thing only... no matter what happens, no matter where we are or what we do... Your first priority would be YN. I don't want to see even one strand of hair fall down off her head."

With this, the vampires returned in their car and with us, driving behind them, we continued our long trip.

I wondered... what was going to happen next?
