Tom is caught in between a choice of killing Jordan or not during the purge. (S1)

Tom's POV:

I run through the forest so I am not seen. I look at my communicator on my wrist. We have fifteen minutes left of the purge, and Tucker and I are tied for first. I have time to loot his house.

I sprint my way over to Tucker and Sonja's house. The Wizards' work impresses me still. They build everything so well done. I run in and look around for a way into his vault. Behind a painting is a secret button. I press it and run to the vault, but it was already open.

Wait... who would be down there though? It better not be Tucker or else this will get complicated.

I sneak my way down the ladder and hide behind a chest. I see brown hair with a black jacket out the corner of my eye. I slowly rise up from my spot and take a few steps towards the person. This is one of two people: Tucker without his hat on because he has his pirate outfit on today, or this is Jordan.

He turns around with loot in his hand. I look at the very familiar dark brown hair, blue and brown eyes, and red glasses, Jordan. My blood stained sword points towards him.

"Name one reason I shouldn't kill you right now and win my way to first place," I say.

He shakily holds up his hands. "I- Um- I'll split the loot I got from here," he stutters. I raise my eyebrow.

He gets diamonds, gold, and emeralds of his pockets. He also takes out a few pretty good weapons. The loot is split between us. I couldn't even kill him if I wanted to. I barely can during any purge. I have to close my eyes in order to actually be able to kill him.

What? A crush? No I don't like Sparklez like that. I don't think I do. It would be nice if he did like- Thomas snap out of it.

I lower the sword and take the loot. My communicator buzzes. It's probably just saying that we have five, maybe ten, minutes left of the purge.

I look at Sparklez with his Bow of Justice on his shoulder. He looks at his communicator scared and pulls us behind a chest. I look at him confused. Why are we here squeezed behind a chest?

Tucker walks towards the chests. I look at what the communicator actually says.

Oh. That was the buzzing noise. I give a small smile to Sparklez and he smiles back. Tucker is turned around, his back facing us. I have an idea.

I point at Tucker's bed and give a look to Jordan. He sneaks his way behind the chests and destroys the bed, making him have the natural spawn point. I sneak behind Tucker and stab his back. After a few more hits, I kill him and the final purge buzz is heard.

This concludes the purge until next week's champion.

On the screen I see the final rankings.

Fourth: OMGitsFirefoxx

Third: CaptainSparklez

Second: iiJeriichoii

Winner: SynHD!

I feel something teleported into my hand. A CD named "Never Gonna Give You Up" is my prize.

"This better be a fucking joke," I shout. So that's the 'mystery prize we would love' Dec talked about.

I turn around to thank him, but our faces accidentally crash together. My lips hit his and stay there for a moment. It takes me to register what is actually happening. Oh my gods, I just kissed Sparklez.

My eyes widen as I back away, face red of embarrassment. It actually feels like my stomach is full of butterflies right now and sparks are ignited. Wait, am I actually gay? Do I actually like Sparklez? Was I not making things up in my mind? I am so confused about this all.

"Sorry..." I mutter.

"It's ok," he says in a low tone. We look at each other again. A small smile creeps on my face. He smiles back.

This time we actually kiss on purpose. I pull him closer to me as our lips are in sync. I don't think, I know I actually like Sparklez now.

We pull away when we here Tucker and Sonja upstairs. They are talking about today's purge. Jordan and I stand there like nothing happened between us.

The two climb down the ladder. "Hey you lovebirds," I say to them.

"Hey. Good job Tom," says Sonja.

"You too." I slide the prize over to them. They look at it and laugh.

"I am so glad I didn't win now," Tucker says laughing. I roll my eyes. We continue talking, and Jordan and I leave after a while. We look around for people before I give him a quick kiss.

"Bye Sparklez and please don't speak of this to anyone," I say before running off.

I'm gonna have to try to get him to be mine soon.
