Plot: Tom surprises Jordan by flying to Los Angeles and plans to do things with him, but find themselves in another situation. 

Tom's POV

I take a deep breath before knocking on the door. I decided on surprising Jordan by coming in from England. I knock on the door and take a step back. The door opens and I see a surprised and tired Jordan standing there.

"Tom! I thought you were in England!" he said surprised. He hugged me and I hugged him back.

"Well you little sausage, I decided to take time off and visit you. Seems like something a nice boyfriend would do."

We stepped back inside and he gave me a quick kiss. "Well you already are a nice boyfriend." I kissed him and he kissed me back.

"And so are you. I have taught you well cause I am so fab," I said. He laughed. "Anyways, what were you going to do today?"

"I was supposed to head by the office to check on things. Also record and post."

"Well I hope you can hold those things off cause I planned to do stuff with you."

He stood there thinking about it for a second. "I guess." I smiled and hugged him. He smiled back and laughed. "Oh Tom..."

"What?"

"Nothing. You are just being you. Anyways, what are we going to do today then?"

"Hmm... First off I need to relax or take a nap because that plane ride tired me out. The damn jet lag."

"Well while you do that I may do a bit of editing. So I can actually post a video today." I went to sit on the couch and I pulled him down next to me.

He looked at me with a 'really?' expression. I playfully smiled at him and he rolled his eyes in return. "You know I have to get a video edited."

"But you said that you would spend the day with me Sparklez." He looked at me and sighed.

"Sometimes I hate you," he said as I pulled my arms around him.

"But you still love me no matter how much you hate me," I reply back. He turns on Netflix and puts on an episode of Game of Thrones.

"Sadly yes I still do." I lightly punched him in the shoulder and laughed at his comment.

"You are also a sarcastic dick at some points."

"Only around you I am."

We sit back and cuddled until the episode was over. I looked over at him with a huge smile on his face. He was cuddled into me as my arms were still around him.

Then it happened.

The power decided to suddenly turn out. We both looked towards the window and found it was storming. Your very unlikely event here in beautiful, sunny California.

He grabbed a flashlight and handed another to me. The streaks of light illuminated the room and each other. We looked at each other with mixed emotions shown on our face.

"The complex doesn't have back up generators?"

"Apparently not. Haven't lived here long you know." We both took out our phones and tweeted. Jordan's said: 'Sorry guys! No video today. Power suddenly went out.' Mine said: 'Well my quick visit to LA pushed me back with rain'

I snuggled with him once again and pulled a blanket around out. I laid my head on top of his. My lips barely touching his hair unlike me nose or forehead.

"I love you, even if you can be a sausage sometimes," I quietly said, planting a small kiss on his head and leaving them there.

"I love you too. Even though you can be an ass sometimes." He kissed me and he kissed me back. After an interminable amount of time, we finally broke away from each other.

"I ponder over some of our moments sometimes. And I seem to enjoy the smaller ones more then anything," I say to him. He smiles and kisses my nose.

"Well Mr.Cassel, I think the same thing."

"Never knew that Mr.Maron."

I looked at him and smiled. I took in our moment together. Just him and I. Sitting alone. Snuggled into a blanket. With the sound of thunder and lightning outside. In the dark. Small moments like these matter. So make them count.

First off, yes I know it's been three weeks about. But I am so sorry that I haven't been able to post this. I started school around the end of the first week of August and it became very time consuming.

Also, yes I know. It's Midnight. On Friday. And I have school tomorrow. SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK! (I'll be asleep in probably 30 minutes tbh. I had two tests yesterday and two today. Today as in Friday.)

So I'm gonna go actually get sleep. Cya! And good night/morning/afternoon/evening/ whatever time it is for you.
