Martha's POV:
I sigh as I watch her pass by my lunch table. For about the past month or so I have had a crush on Sonja, one of the most nerdy but kinda popular girls in the school. My friends Mot and Wag always joke around with saying 'Oh Sonja is Martha's senpai' and stuff. I was with Steve, the captain of the football team but then he dumped me after I told him I was bisexual. I really didn't care. He was always cheating on me behind my back, ignoring me, only wanting me for my body, stuff like that. God I hate that Australian bitch.

Wag walks over to sit next to me. He sees my eyes following Sonja as she goes to talk with her friends Jordan and Tucker. He laughs and pats my back. "And here you can observe the wild Martha, observing her beloved Senpai Sonja-chan from afar. Will she ever be able to make hers? Find out next season!" I laugh and turn towards him.

"You basically just mixed a bunch of tv show references in one there James. But shut up she just passed by." He laughs and takes a bite of the school pizza he has. I prefer bringing my lunch and making it myself. I have some kind of pasta thing that's really good. I pick at it with my fork.

"Have you seen Mot?" Wag asks after a few moments of silence.

"He has to eat at the other lunch time today for some reason. Making up a test or something like that." He nods and finishes his pizza.

"You know, I heard of a game called Yandere Simulator where you play as this Japanese school girl who wants her Senpai and you have to kill everyone in the school and not get caught. You would like it." I laugh. That sounds like a pretty interesting game.

"I'll look it up. Seems interesting enough to play. Plus pretty creativ- James! Jordan is coming over act natural!" Wag kinda likes Jordan, though he won't accept the fact, so I have to make sure he doesn't make a fool of himself ever. I'm ok friends with him. If I ever need something or someone to talk to I just text him.

"Hey you two. Mind if I sit with you and possibly Sonja? Tucker has to go do something and I thought everyone could actually talk for once," Jordan says while standing next to us. I nod and he sits across from Wag. Sonja follows behind slowly and sits down. Oh my god this is happening.

"Hey James! Hey Martha!" Sonja says perkily as she puts her stuff down. I smile in return. I look at her shirt. It's white with a fox on it. It wouldn't hurt to compliment it would it?

"I like your shirt Sonja. The fox is adorable." She smiles and blushes lightly.

"Thanks Martha! It's probably one of my favorite shirts. Foxes are pretty adorable in general." Both of us smile at each other. The boys are talking about some robotics project they have. I go back to making time pass while picking at my pasta. I'm running out of pasta to pick at though sadly. Sonja decides to break the silence. "We should hang out some time Martha!" I look up surprised. Hanging out? With me? This has to be some mistake! Oh my god this could happen.

"Yeah that would be awesome. Oh if you ever want to ask me something or need to contact me I can give you my number," I say kinda quietly. Oh my god did I literally just say I can give her my number! I swear I better not make a fool of myself.

"Ditto! I'll hand you my phone and you can hand me yours. I can put it in." I take out my phone with a sparkly purple case on it and hand it to Sonja. She gives me a case with a marble like case. Those cases are adorable. She hands me back my phone when I do. Oh my god I have her number. Suddenly lunch ends and we say our goodbyes to each other. I head towards science while she goes to the English area of the school.

In the middle of my last class I suddenly need to go to the bathroom. Since we are only doing a worksheet right now I am allowed to and I walk to the bathroom. I do all my business then right as I am about to step out of the stall I hear a familiar voice talk to themselves. It's Sonja. I mean I knew someone else was in here but not her.

"Come on Jordan pick up!" She says quietly. There's a quick thump from each step while she paces. Then the sound stops.

"Jordan! I never got to talk to you after lunch I need to talk to you!" She says perkily. "Ok so, I got Martha's number... I know right I got so lucky... Jordan, I know I have a crush on her I just can't tell her right now. Do you know how embarrassing that would be?- No I don't know if she is homosexual why would I ask that at this time... Stop calling her my Senpai you son of a bitch... Fine I'll get back to class but I'm calling you later. Cya!"

Oh my god Sonja likes me! This is crazy! But what would happen if I said something? What would she say? I mean I have a good chance but what could happen? I quietly sigh and lean my elbows against the closed stall door. The door flings open and I fall against the wall. It was open this whole time! c
Crap! Sonja turns around immediately. My face goes red right away and I dash out of there.

"Martha! Wait!" I hear her say as I run away. I want to look back but I don't have the courage to. Anything could happen. I just don't want to know what could happen.

When I get back to class the bell is about to ring so I start packing up my stuff. Once it does I ring I rush out the door. I don't have time to stop and talk. She could be around. Then I could embarrass myself. Why does liking someone have to be so hard.

At home I get a text while I do my homework. Grab my phone next to me and check the name. Thank god it's only Mot. I unlock it and look at the message.

Mot_Screziato: Hey girly! Where were you today after school? I didn't see you?
MarthaTheMystic: I'll explain in a minute. Just call me.

Mot's name appears on screen and I answer right away. "I will need some explanations Martha about what happened." I take a deep breath and start pacing in my room.

"Ok so, I got to talk to Sonja at lunch. Then in math, which you know is my last class and all, I went to the bathroom. When I was about to walk out of the stall I heard Sonja talking to Jordan. She apparently likes me too. Well the door was already unlocked and I fell out and ran. She knew it was me. Now I'm scared about what will happen. Anything could happen Mot! Anything!"

He lets out a light chuckle. "There's nothing to worry about then. It should work out." Suddenly I hear his little sister, Alyssa, shout something in the background. "Sure Alyssa! I'll take you to the park. Gotta go M, I'll talk to you later." He hangs up. I laugh for a split second. Mot will do anything for his little sister ever since her twin brother passed away from cancer at three. The girl is all he has left of him. My phone dings again. This time though it's Sonja. Oh god.

Sonja: Hey Martha... Can we talk? Or like can I come over or something. I need to say something.
MarthaTheMystic: Sure I guess. My address is 2038 Jones Ave. Just tell me when you get here.

I sigh as I put down my phone. I don't want to sound rude or anything so this is the only thing I could do. A few minutes later she says that she should be here soon. I walk into the living room and see my mom on the couch on her phone. Helgrind must be at some practice of his.

"Hey Mom, I have a friend coming over soon so I hope you don't mind." She looks up from her phone and nods. I twist my lilac hair in my fingers and pace the room. This is nerve racking.

"Is it a she or a he and are they cute?" I came out to my mom a couple of months ago and she was trilled. She likes the idea of being able to say 'Yeah my daughter is bi and I personally think is great!' which she has said to all of her friends and my uncles and the rest of my family. That was an interesting Christmas.

I nod. "Her name is Sonja. Now don't do anything to embarrass me ok?" Before she can speak the doorbell rings. I walk over to the door and open it. Sonja is standing there rocking back and forth on her heels. I let her in.

"Hi Sonja!"

"Hey Martha! Hi Mrs... Kikoku right?"

"Yep! But just call me Ianite. It's easier to say," Mom says shaking her hand. Before she can say anything else I speak.

"We are going to be in my room so if you need us we'll be there." I lead Sonja to my room and Mom sighs. I am stopping her before she can do anything to embarrass me. When we walk into my room, Sonja relaxes a bit.

"Nice room."

"Thanks. Sorry all my school stuff is on the bed. I was studying earlier."

"It's fine. My room is usually a mess." We stand in awkward silence for a second.

"Sorry about what happened earlier today. I had to get out before I could say anything or do anything." She looks down and nods.

"It's fine. I would had done the same. But now I guess you know that fact." She giggles quietly for a second.

"I mean you're pretty cool and stuff. I kinda possibly like you." My face gets red. Her face lights up and she looks back up.

"Really?" I nod. "Well... can I do something then possibly?" She kneels in front of me and puts her hand under my chin making me look up. Then all of the sudden she kisses me very quickly. She stands up and backs away. "I... Um... Sorry... I just wanted to-" before she can say another word I stand up and kiss her. She kisses back right away and it lasts for a couple of seconds. My heart is racing and I have a giant smile on my face. This is now the best day of my life.

I hear the door creak a bit. I walk over and open it. My mom comes falling on the ground. I put my face in my hand while Sonja laughs.

"I was going to check on you two but I guess you are doing fine. So... Yeah I'll just leave now." She dusts off her pants and walks out of my room. I follow behind her and close the door.

"So my mom isn't the only one who would do that?" Sonja says laughing.

"This is normal. I'm just waiting for my brother to come next cause that would definitely could happen." Both of us laugh. "Oh also, James and Mot always are joking about you being my 'senpai' and stuff so that's a funny coincidence."

"So Senpai Martha... wanna go on a date some time possibly?"

"Sure Senpai Sonja. That would a great thing."

2K WORDS! WHAT IS THIS! Also I kinda got the Senpai thing from a song Random Encounters have done that is based off Yandere Simulator that I was listening to (Totally recommend).
