Lukai's POV
     The nerve of this fox! I thought as I felt the fur torn off my scruff. I can handle her making fun of me, but no one speaks poorly of the Alpha and tears fur off of a wolf's scruff! I may have left the pack long ago, but I at least still respect their leader! I turned to her and snarled,"Ok, if that is how you want to play, so be it." I sensed her fear begin to rise, but she stifled it and yipped,"Bring it!" We both dropped into our fighting stances and prepared to face off; she prepared for an attack while I readied my defense.
     She ran at me, weaving back and forth to try to confuse me while choosing which side to attack from. She bolted left and tried to jump onto my back. At the last second I rolled over and she only managed to tear a bit of my ear. I growled and dove under her, my claws ranking her stomach. She yelped and I pinned her down, my jaws clamped at her neck. All of a sudden, her tail covered my eyes and I lost my grip. Looks like she knows a few skills, I thought. Hopefully she has only just discovered how much use they can be.

Mia's POV
I scrambled up and leaped at his throat, shocked my plan had worked. Don't get cocky, I thought. The fight is far from over. I landed on top of Lukai but he overwhelmed me with his strength and size, shoving me back. He looked a little more cautious now, so I had to plan carefully. He leaped at my flank and I felt his claws rank my side. I was prepared, so I slid out from under him and slashed at his stomach. My claws connected, and I gave a powerful kick that sent him flying.
I stood and watched as he hit the ground with a thud, panting a bit from fighting. He was now in the center of the clearing. I watched as he stood while I prepared myself for his next attack, but he turned around and leaped at Doug. Doug, who had been weaving between Bo's legs with a vine, yelped in surprise at the sudden attack. "Doug!" I barked. "Why you-I'm coming Doug!"
Bo shook off Alexi and turned to Scout. "Oh no you don't!" I snarled as I leaped at him. He staggered, momentarily blinded, and I saw Scout scramble into hiding. Good, now we can focus on defeating these two, I thought. "Lukai!" whined Bo. "The prey escaped!" He gave a shake that sent me flying, and I turned to land on Lukai. I dug my claws into his back as I heard him growl,"Keep fighting. I refuse to loose to a fox!" He rolled over, crushing me under him, as Alexi and Doug returned to fight Bo. I bit into his shoulder, and he leaped up with a snarl. "You're not half bad. It's a shame you're still new, you might've stood a chance against me with more experience." I looked at him, confused but distrusting. "You haven't won yet," I growled.
"Oh, but that's where you're wrong little fox," he smirked. Suddenly I felt tendrils snaking around me, tying me up. "Growing magic," he sneered. "I placed the seeds on you when we started. C'mon Bo, we have what we need." The vines closed around me, and the last thing I saw was Lukai step toward me. After that, darkness covered me and I lost consciousness. I hope... Alexi and Doug... are ok...
