Mia's POV
I woke up next to something warm and fluffy. Wait! This is... LUKAI?! I scrambled to my paws and tried to get away from him. I could only get so far, however, before the vines holding me stopped my movement(ok before ANYTHING ELSE, they only fell asleep together they did NOT do... stuff... If you want that sort of thing go read a lemon. Actually no. Ya know what, get back to the story (>////<).). Ok, I need to escape again. Hopefully Lukai won't- Rhuan I HAD to go and jinx it! I watched as he stood and stretched, envying his free movement. "Morning," he yawned, shaking out his fur.
"Uh, is that all you have to say? You fluffing fox-nap me and now you act like everything is normal? What is wrong with you?!"
"Hey calm down! Remember your place! Look, I have my reasons for taking you, and you haven't exactly made it easy on Bo and I. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm hungry. So I'll be back with some food-"
"I REFUSE to eat any meat other than fish!" I yipped.
"Of course you wouldnt," he said in a low growl. "Fine. I'll get some berries and fish or something. I wouldn't recommend trying to escape though. You are weak from hunger and thirst and it would be easy to track you. Don't think you can run off just because Bo or I aren't with you." I sighed and lay back down, my head resting on my paws. Seeing I was done with his lecture on yesterday's escape attempt, he stalked off into the forest. May as well groom myself. Not like there's anything better to do here. I looked at my pelt to see it had become disheveled and shaggy. Alexi would have a fit if she saw how many burrs, twigs, and leaves I had sticking to me. I wonder how they're doing...

Doug's POV
     "Alexi you need to calm down! Mia can take care of herself and it won't do her any good if you panic!" I yipped, exasperated. She had been pacing the clearing all morning while Scout and I cleared our camp. Now that Alexi was healed, she was back to her impatient self. "HURRY UP! WE NEED TO GET TO MIA!" Scout sighed as she packed the last leaf sack. "We're all worried about her and are eager to get moving, Alexi. But we need to bring our supplies with us if we're going to help her escape," I expained for what felt like the thousandth time.
     "WELL PACK FASTER!"
     "IF YOU HAD HELPED US WE COULD HAVE BEEN DONE BY NOW!" I barked. I love Alexi, but sometimes she could be a real pain. "Sorry Doug and Scout. I know I'm being inpatient, but I just feel so bad about not being able to stop Mia's fox-napping," she whined.
     "It's fine. I'm sorry for snapping at you," I apologized. Scout looked relieved as she handed us some of the packs. "I'm glad we're back to peace among us," she squeaked. Nodding, I picked up my share and we helped each other tie on the bundles. "Lets go rescue Mia!" I barked.
"Yeah!" they responded. Scout hopped onto my back for the journey and we took off into the brush. Hang in there Mia. We're coming to help!
