Mia's POV
"Look, I hate you, you hate me. How about I help you escape, and you never come near us again?" Bo yipped. He calls me Baka and then offers to help me escape? What is up with this bear?! Lukai began to enter the clearing once again. "I'll let you know tonight," I yipped softly. Bo nodded and moved back to his spot. "And that is how I came to protect Scout," I barked as Lukai sat down to continue eating. I gave a quick glare at Bo for effect, and he let out a sound that could have meant 'Oh' as he ate.
     "Wow, I leave for less than a minute and you two manage to get on slightly better terms. It's like you're planning something together (Lukai you mind reader- jk jk XD)" Lukai barked. Bo looked down at his fish as I gave a short half-laugh. "Speaking of planning, what are you going to do with me exactly?" I yipped.
     "That's for me to know and you to wonder, little fox."
     "UGH! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SECRETIVE?! THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS TELL ME WHAT EXACTLY YOU WANT FROM ME!" I whined in frustration. Or let me at least mentally prepare myself for being your little pet. Unless you decide to kill me, that is... Actually why have they let me live? "Ok listen here you ungrateful little Baka! We have done more than enough for you! The least YOU can do is behave yourself and watch your tongue!" Bo growled.
     "That's enough!" Lukai barked, glaring at both of us. "Bo, you need to let me handle things with her. Mia, you need to not burst out like that. I will give you a brief explanation and punishment after we eat. Now both of you finish, and Bo go cool off in the stream past that thicket." With that, he began to eat as if nothing had happened. "Oh, and Mia," he whispered. "We aren't going to kill you. You're too important for that." Wait, I didn't say that, I only thought i- oh wait, I bet this is what happened with Bo earlier. Whatever, at least I'll be getting some answers soon.
Scout's POV
(I could never forget the guinea pig!)
     "I don't know how you two managed to find the border of the wolf territory, but good job!" I squeaked as we set down our packs for a rest. "Do you think they've gone deep in there to escape us?"
     "I don't see why they would, they already proved that they are far stronger than us," Alexi yipped.
     "Yeah, but what if they don't feel like fighting us again and want to just go somewhere with her?" Alexi whined. "Wait... What do they even want from her... *le gasp* YOU DONT THINK THEY'RE GOING TO SELL HER DO YOU?! IF SHE GETS SOLD WE MAY NEVER FIND HER!! COME ON THERE'S NO TIME FOR RESTING WE HAVE TO GO FIND MIA-"
     "ALEXI. CALM THE FLUFF DOWN," I squeaked. "We can start moving again soon, but we won't be able to take them on if you two are exhausted when we find them."
     "Actually, they have already beat us WITH Mia's help. There's no way just Alexi and I can take both of them," Doug whined. "I think it might be smart to bring this matter to Rhuan. If they stole her and took her into wolf territory, that goes against the contract!"
"So what you're telling me Doug, is that all this tracking work was for nothing?!" Alexi barked.
"Whatever, lets just go get Mia back!" I squeaked.
