In the infirmary.

The school nurse was done treating my Tae's bruises. She said it'll not mark anymore because she put some ointment on it.

Anyway I'm planning to inform the school council regarding what Stephanie did to Taeyeon, I'm sure she will be punished or suspended. This time I'll be more careful and always look after my Tae.

The nurse left us here because the director called her. Taeyeon was sitting on the bed and her head down while I stood in front of her.

"Tae, are you okay now?" Taeyeon nodded but she didn't look at me. She's staring at her hands playing it on her lap.

"Tae... Please look at me." I pleaded with my desperation.

"I miss you so much, please talk to me," I was in the verge of my tears when she looked up meeting my gaze.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you but I hope that you'll understand me. I love you Tae and it hurts me to see you being distant." Tears started to run down my face as my voice trembled.

Taeyeon slowly wrapped her arms around my waist as she buried her face into the crook of my neck and nuzzled it. It gives tingling sensation throughout my body but I like how she has strong effect on me.

"I'm sorry Mi young... I'm sorry," she mumbled.

I hugged her tightly while stroking her hair, I love her warmth. It always soothe me.

"No, don't apologize Tae. I'm the one who hurt you, I miss this... I miss us," I said as I pushed myself to her. I really miss her touch and our closeness.

"I miss you too, Mi young. I'm just ashamed about what I did," she pulled away to face me.

I held her cheeks "Nothing to be ashamed Taeyeon, I like what you did 'cuz you didn't forget your promise when we were kids but... I think, we're not ready for that. I'm sorry Tae."

Taeyeon held my hands on her cheeks and smiled "Stop saying sorry, it's not your fault. If you're not ready, I understand it. I won't rush you and I'll wait for you because I love you, Hwang Mi young."

I felt heat rushed up in my face and for sure my face reddened as my heart beats wildly in my chest. I love hearing those words from her.

"Thank you Tae," I gave her my sweetest eye smile.

"So... Sleepover later?" I asked while wiggling my eyebrows.

Taeyeon widely grinned "Sure," she said as she pursed her lips together.

"Yeesss!! I miss that! Thank you Tae," Then I yipped.

She shook her head "No, thank you Mi young for protecting me again."

"I will always do it, over and over because you're my best friend." Taeyeon smiled faded a bit but she smiled at me again and nodded.

"Same time... before dinner, aight?"

"Okay Mi young"

I'm so happy because Taeyeon and I are fine now. 

I will never let that happen again. Our distance makes me feel scared.

I'm petrified that I would lose Taeyeon.
